In this special discussion, Dr.s Kay & Ray share their highlights from The Real Housewives of New York, season 15, reunion episodes, after discussing the big breakup in Bachelor Nation of Rachel Kirkconnell and Matt James. Matt, the first Black bachelor, and Rachel, his final rose winner (whom he did not propose to, but instead started dating), have broken up after 4 years together. At the end of their season, photographs emerged of Rachel dressed in costume for a southern plantation-themed party, a type of party that glorifies and embraces a time in history marked by white enslavement of black individuals. The RHONY Reunion raised numerous painful topics, including those facing Jessel & Pavit, Brynn & Ubah, and Racquel. Dr.s Kay & Ray discuss these painful topics from a trauma-focused perspective, which leads to both support & constructive criticism of each castmate. For example, in just the backstage scene between Raquel & Brynn, both castmates, while well-intentioned, said implicitly disrespectful things to one another. So, check out what they said & how it was disrespectful, as well as numerous other painful examples of the poor treatment of one another, on this episode of Reality Test!Listeners are invited to visit the Patreon for free atpatreon.com/RealityTest & check out some of the benefits of a free membership & the paid tiers! The RHONY Season 15 finale has come and gone with a bang. After what many call a difficult second season, Brynn Whitfield may have finally taken it too far by claiming Ubah Hassan knew about her past SA while Ubah screamed that she did not. Of course the whole cast Erin, Sai, Jenna, Jessel, Racquel, even Rebecca Minkoff - yea, we forgot she was there too - weighted in, shed tears and unilaterally decided they are done with Brynn. Brynn broke her silence in an interview exclusive, Jenna claimed Brynn was dangerous on WWHL, the fans demanded she be terminated or the show cancelled and much more h$ll hath broken loose over the past few days in our one third home and fav city of them all. In other news, Andy Cohen weighs in on Lisa Vanderpump returning to RHOBH, The Traitors continues to reign supreme and Danielle Cabral makes major moves across the river in good ole' RHONJ land. The nuanced role of extinction in Skills Based Treatment. Distinguishing between the immediate and long-term effects of reinforcement. Efficacy vs. effectiveness. Some historical perspectives on Functional Analysis, including the unexpected topic in which the term 'automatic reinforcement' was used. Questioning the role of descriptive functional assessment. What's up Bros? We're still trudging away with RHONY because YOU KEEP LISTENING TO US (thank you so much for the support) but this has been a tough season to get through. In this episode, Pavit and Jessel's relationship is on display as she attempts to have a conversation with him about her embryos. Wanting to start therapy, she brings it up at dinner only to be met with a very dismissive and somewhat belittling Pavit, which we did not care for. Raquel opens up to the audience and cast members more about her journey with her ex-husband, their business together, and how her and Mel began their relationship. Raquel is arguably the only bright spot of this whole season and you could argue its simply because she's being authentic. She's also objectively really cool, but we appreciate that she's actually showing us who she is. Jenna continues to not want to address things on camera but appears to be going above and beyond to prove to Erin that she's a good friend. Erin is throwing a party for her Mezcal company and says in a confessional that she is "bringing mezcal to the states" as though we haven't had mezcal in the U.S. for an extended period of time. Brynn is still at odds with the group and yes she is trying too hard. But at least she's trying? Ubah is having a tough season overall to the point that we are beginning to question if she should be on this show. Our largest gripe is lack of authenticity. We've said it before and we will say it again, it is really difficult to care and get invested in these ladies when they simply do not show us who they truly are. The fear of a bad public image is in turn making this a bad show. We will always hold out hope but knowing that they wrapped filming early because of an irreconcilable argument does not give us a whole lot of confidence. Want more Bros content? What's up Bros? In this weeks RHONY episode, Jessel is planning a Clueless themed party. As we've been discussing all season, the show is pretty dry and it seems like the audience is growing tired of it as well. Erin has a major issue with Jenna as she feels like she hasn't been a good friend to her, despite Erin putting in the effort. Or is she just jealous of Jenna's new relationship with Sai. Ubah and Raquel hang out in hopes that Ubah can give her a better second impression after the Brynn nonsense in the Hamptons. And Ubah calls attention to the 'angry black woman' sentiment from Brynn. We truly do not know why Rebecca Minkoff is on this show. Sai gets some closure as she spreads her moms ashes at their upstate NY house. After Abe lets slip to Jenna that their is tension between Jenna and Erin (Jenna was unaware), it forces a conversation between the two... and they make up immediately. We dont root for fights and failed relationships here, we dont want manufactured drama... that being said, we do want authenticity and it appears that every single member of this cast is so overly concerned with how they are perceived that what we're left with is a lacking and inauthentic product and for lack of a better word, boring. Despite having done multiple episodes on the PFA, we've never actually talked about what happens next in treatment. Fortunately, amazing clinician (and nicest BCBA in the biz) Dr. Cory Whelan joined us to put the kibosh on our CAB chain questions. From Branch 1 to 100, we get the scoop on just how skill-based treatment works and why you too might want to master these steps. This episode is available for 1.0 LEARNING CEU. What's up Bros? We're back with RHONY and unfortunately we continue to get more of the same. The gang heads to the Hampton's and luckily Erin is prepared with the food this time. Raquel was supposed to ride with Ubah and Sai, but claims they refused to let her ride up front due to her car sickness. However the text reveals that wasn't true, and this is the kind of drama that we're dealing with this season... Ubah clearly still has an issue with Brynn and how she outed her relationship with Oliver last year. But she points that energy to take up for Sai, who is still having issues with Brynn telling Jenna she hates her. Brynn and Sai sit down to squash it, but Brynn gives a blanket apology, doesn't let Sai talk and then we get 3rd 4th and 5th parties joining the conversation so absolutely nothing gets accomplished. We get to learn a little more about Raquel and her background as an art curator and then we get a bizarre story from Rebecca about her ex boyfriend, high school boyfriend and losing her virginity. Why we haven't discussed the scientology of it all yet I have no idea. When they return to the house, Ubah lets Erin and Jessel know that she doesnt trust anyone, she's sick of people saying one thing to one person and then twisting their words to someone else. It escalates at breakfast when Ubah goes in on Brynn on behalf of Sai? Although when Sai gets to breakfast she doesn't seem all that bothered... The episode just ends there and again, we're gettin the bare minimum thus far. The drama isnt interesting and we're worried this cast refuses to just be themselves. This show is lacking authenticity and we are starting to get worried about the future... Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Whats up Bros? RHONY is back and while it wasn't the most exciting premiere that we've seen, we didn't hate it. We meet back up with everyone in the crew and it starts off with a teaser of the end of the season. At the end of the season photoshoot for the Title Image etc. a lot of the group is not on speaking terms. It seems Brynn is having some issues with some of the ladies... When the episode kicks off, it appears that relationships are a little fractured. Brynn is on the outs with a lot of the ladies as she plans a night out in hopes to reconnect. Erin and Abe have moved from Tribeca to uptown but they're having some issues that Erin isn't ready to speak about. Sai and Jessel hit the ice bath and Sai informs us that she is on a new zen path in hopes to fix some things that she saw last season. We get to meet Jenna's girlfriends mom as well as newbie Raquel (who seems super cool). The main focus this episode is Brynn keeps getting caught in lies, or misremembering/ misspeaking about past events. Erin is fed up with it, Sai is fed up with it, and the rest of the group is dragged into it as well as Brynn keeps spreading information behind the ladies backs. Is this the villain era for Brynn? Will Jenna bring enough to the show this season? Again, not the most exciting start but we did see some areas that give us hope that they can get on track in season 2. Want more access to the Bros?
