In this special discussion, Dr.s Kay & Ray share their highlights from The Real Housewives of New York, season 15, reunion episodes, after discussing the big breakup in Bachelor Nation of Rachel Kirkconnell and Matt James. Matt, the first Black bachelor, and Rachel, his final rose winner (whom he did not propose to, but instead started dating), have broken up after 4 years together. At the end of their season, photographs emerged of Rachel dressed in costume for a southern plantation-themed party, a type of party that glorifies and embraces a time in history marked by white enslavement of black individuals. The RHONY Reunion raised numerous painful topics, including those facing Jessel & Pavit, Brynn & Ubah, and Racquel. Dr.s Kay & Ray discuss these painful topics from a trauma-focused perspective, which leads to both support & constructive criticism of each castmate. For example, in just the backstage scene between Raquel & Brynn, both castmates, while well-intentioned, said implicitly disrespectful things to one another. So, check out what they said & how it was disrespectful, as well as numerous other painful examples of the poor treatment of one another, on this episode of Reality Test!Listeners are invited to visit the Patreon for free atpatreon.com/RealityTest & check out some of the benefits of a free membership & the paid tiers! After over three months, Pop Culture Prisoner is BACK! Because there are SO many shows to discuss, Deepti and Haley just dished their latest overall thoughts so far on Beverly Hills, SLC (the GREATEST show on Bravo), Potomac and New York (the WORST show on Bravo).Deepti and Haley united in their anger towards Kyle and couldn't help but notice how happy Mo and PK seem to be these days! They discuss the controversial freshman *STAR* Bronwyn on RHOSLC and also how unHINGED Meredith's bat mitzvah party was (in THE most entertaining way imaginable). Potomac is doing well in Deepti and Haley's eyes. Mia is off her rocker but Deepti doesn't want her off her screen for some reason. Karen has devolved into such a sad character and it's frankly quite upsetting. How is Wendy suddenly NOT annoying?? FINALLY....New York needs to be canceled. At least with this cast! PAVIT has jumped the shark btw. Ubah and Brynn are supremely difficult to watch on our screens. Of course Deepti and Haley have many thoughts on Erin and a few on Jenna. Racquel is cool. But really...please end this show!!

What's up Bros? We're still trudging away with RHONY because YOU KEEP LISTENING TO US (thank you so much for the support) but this has been a tough season to get through. In this episode, Pavit and Jessel's relationship is on display as she attempts to have a conversation with him about her embryos. Wanting to start therapy, she brings it up at dinner only to be met with a very dismissive and somewhat belittling Pavit, which we did not care for. Raquel opens up to the audience and cast members more about her journey with her ex-husband, their business together, and how her and Mel began their relationship. Raquel is arguably the only bright spot of this whole season and you could argue its simply because she's being authentic. She's also objectively really cool, but we appreciate that she's actually showing us who she is. Jenna continues to not want to address things on camera but appears to be going above and beyond to prove to Erin that she's a good friend. Erin is throwing a party for her Mezcal company and says in a confessional that she is "bringing mezcal to the states" as though we haven't had mezcal in the U.S. for an extended period of time. Brynn is still at odds with the group and yes she is trying too hard. But at least she's trying? Ubah is having a tough season overall to the point that we are beginning to question if she should be on this show. Our largest gripe is lack of authenticity. We've said it before and we will say it again, it is really difficult to care and get invested in these ladies when they simply do not show us who they truly are. The fear of a bad public image is in turn making this a bad show. We will always hold out hope but knowing that they wrapped filming early because of an irreconcilable argument does not give us a whole lot of confidence. Want more Bros content? Courtney is back from her Greek vacation and she fills us in on all the details from her trip. We break down the Season 15 premiere of RHONY, which we really enjoyed. Our minds have definitely shifted and we are already intrigued by the newest Housewife, Racquel. Rebecca who? Is Brynn in her villain era telling people Erin called Jenna Lyons poor and letting Jenna know that Sai “hates” her (even though maybe it was that she can't stand her)? It's a big game of telephone in New York and the call is coming from inside Brynn's house. We felt lucky to have Pavit back on our screens and have a business proposal for him! Come judge with us! Hello Truthful Listeners! Welcome back! Your Canadian girlies are here with full recaps of our fave Bravo Shows! Today we are recapping: RHONY, S14 E13 - A Night at Swingers RHONY- Be prepared for a whole lot of ranting and raving about Erin, Sai and their jerk-off husbands this episode. We have reached our capacity of bullying and BS with these two mean girls. Sai and Erin gossip and bash Jessel after Sai's lunch with Jessel where Jessel attempted to apologize and relate to Sai; Erin and Abe host a guacamole dinner at Swingers, all of the women are there except Brynn and Jenna; Jessel and Pavit are the main topic of conversation and main target of attack from the two cackling hags and their gross husbands; Pavit gets interrogated for flying to Vietnam for points, relaxation and a banh mi, the women cannot compute and make some pretty disgusting assumptions about Pavit and Jessel. Any way, a bunch more terribly vicious and annoying shit happened and I can't even finish this episode description without raging. So please just listen to the episode and spare me the pain! Ha! So much Bravo, so little time! We chat all things Southern Charm, RHOC, RHONY and RHOSLC! Charleston seems like a VERY small town where everyone is involved in each other's lives. Would strictly a hook up between Austen and Taylor be more acceptable than questioning if they should be in an actual relationship? Would you be sad to not get the invite to the "after party"? RHOC had a great season but we don't think a Part 2 for the reunion was even necessary. Too much yelling over each other and the women seemed to try to wrap things up with a nice little bow. We give an ultimatum to Shannon: either pause RHOC or pause John Janssen, but you can't have both! RHONY has us questioning why Sai and Erin care so much about Jessel and Pavit. As a Juror said, Taank Tops Unite! We still think all the women should return for a Season 2 and see the changes after watching Season 1. A show needs villains! Another week, another great episode of RHOSLC! These women are pure camp. Even though Shawn won't take his hat off, we really felt for him after the ruUmoOorZ came out and how he just wants to be his daughters hero. Why can't Lisa and Heather be friends? Why is Mary on the show? Why does Meredith have a 40 inch weave for snow shoeing? Honestly these are questions we probably won't get answers to but... come judge with us!You can find us:Instagram & Threads: @twojudgeygirlsFacebook: www.facebook.com/twojudgeygirlsPodcast: ACast, iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher Merch: www.etsy.com/shop/TwoJudgeyGirls Hosted on Acast. Are the ladies of RHONY too invested in Jessel and Pavit's love life? Are the husbands getting too involved? Teddi and Emily are invested in Pavit's trip to Vietnam to earn points. Then on RHOSLC, Angie and Shawn's relationship is shown in a better light. And, Is Linda crossing the line telling Monica how to raise her daughters? Whats up Bros?! It is still Red October in Philly and the Bro's are working overtime. Between Phillies baseball, Eagles football and Bravo, our schedules are packed and we wouldn't have it any other way. This episode, we cover RHONY and Sai's getting real old real quick. Her and Erin team up against Jessel and we simply cannot seem to move past the fact that Pavit is flying to Vietnam. The group goes mini golfing together at Swingers (interesting name considering Abe and Erins potential future) and once again Sai and Erin force the issue of Vietnam and Jessel's sex life in front of the whole group. Sai has had a tough season and her and Erin's treatment of Jessel is simply bullying at this point and its really not a good look nor is it fun to watch. Thank god for Jenna Lyons and her compassion for Jessel because she's able to understand that Jessel means well, she's just a little clunky in her delivery. But all in all Sai and Erin need to get a hobby and maybe instead of worrying about Pavit and Jessel, because they seem like the realest couple on the show, maybe worry about your own husbands who can't stop talking about sex. Not to mention a rumor has come out regarding Sai and her current husband and how they may have begun their relationship... Then off to Southern Charm and this episode centers around one thing, Taylor and Austen and what has or hasn't happened between them. It takes place largely at Taylor's day chaser event and after diving into the whole situation we have come up with this. This is not a Shep vs Taylor issue, this is a Shep vs Austen issue AND it is a Taylor vs Olivia issue. Both respective parties need to have these convos but we feel as though Shep and Taylor are done, Olivia and Austen are done, this is a breach of friendship conversation more so than a breach of relationship in our opinion due to the timing. The group is all on board that should Austen and Taylor hook up, or if they have previously then it is abhorrent behavior (totes agree) but will the truth ever come out? will we get the whole story? Will JT stop forcing the issue constantly because he has a massive crush on Taylor even though she will literally never give you a shot pal? Who knows! Sai has reached new levels of unhinged on Real Housewives of New York and in defense of Jessel, Pavit, The Points Guy, banh mi sandwiches, and Desi couples everywhere, we attempt to understand what might be up the butts of Sai (and Erin). --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/therealityispod/message
We're almostttt to the finish line on this new RHONY reboot, and the closer we inch towards next week's finale, the more it becomes abundantly clear that no matter what she says or does, Jessel is never going to win…. That, and that Sai just simply doesn't like Jessel - no more, no less. Jessel tries to share something personal trying to connect? Sai says, “Nope - You've insulted me!” Pavit's taking impromptu trips around the world to rack up points? Sai says, “You're a liar and I'm going to heavily insinuate that you're going for more than just a Banh Mi!” Ummm who died and made Sai the judge, jury and executioner of the group?!? And, in case the ladies (and we) were all confused, RHONY is not playing a never ending game of ‘Sai Says' as much as it may seem to the contrary)! We're talking this week's RHONY, y'all…. And if you haven't guessed, we've got some feelings about it!! Enjoy! Also, side note - travelling for points IS a thing and I'd take three days to get pampered on international first class flights without so much as a first though, let alone a second! On this episode of RHONY the group (minus Jenna and Brynn) head to a golf bar called Swingers…which sounds like the perfect place for Erin and Abe. Everyone grills Pavit on his travel plans to Vietnam as if it is any of their business. Sai tells Jessel that she was OFFENEDED by Jessel telling her about her uncle who passed away from alcoholism and how DARE she bring up Sai's mother because Jessel is supposed to be a mind reader and know that Sai doesn't like talking about her mother. The men take turns telling what initially attracted them to their wives. Pavit says that life is an adventure and being able to do what you love with someone else and Jessel is the perfect partner for that. Of course, Sai and her talking parrot only hear that he wanted to marry someone who would let him do what he wants, which was NOT what he said. Sai and Erin are oddly obsessed with Jessel and Pavit….maybe they should focus on their own marriages… Follow me on Instagram @realitywrappodcast to get updates on when I release an episode or follow me on your favorite listening app to get notifications. Sai and Erin seems very invested in Jessel and Pavit's sex life and marriage, and they're definitely giving off the mean-girl vibe that Jessel accuses them of. I'm so over Sai's "I don't care!" responds the same way I'm over her being hungry and complaining about food all the time. She comes off low-class and super ghetto. Hello Truthful Listeners! Welcome back! Your Canadian girlies are here with full recaps of our fave Bravo Shows! Today we are recapping: Southern Charm, S09 E03 - He Said, She Said RHONY, S14 E12 - Well Healed RHOSLC, S04 E05 - The Nastiness and Rumours RHOC, S17 E17 - Reunion Part 1 Southern Charm- The ladies of Charleston want Taylor to keep her flip-outs under wraps; Shep brings Olivia warm meat and fishes for her thoughts on Austen and Taylor having friendly sleepovers; Olivia confronts Taylor about her relationship with Austen and she denies anything happening…except for the fact she thought she may need to be his girlfriend and they called their families for advice. RHONY - Brynn starts this episode with a bang! A finger bang…potentially; Brynn is Jenna's wing woman at the bar, kind of; Erin, Abe, Sai and David meet for dinner where Erin and Abe talk shit about Jessel and Pavit's lack intimacy, and the men both reveal they would have been long gone if that were them…but that's not all, Erin and Abe plan on being swingers in the future; Ubah hosts a healing event that didn't seem to work for Sai, because she dismisses Jessel when she tries to apologize for her comments she made in Anguilla and leaves her at lunch because Jessel's trauma isn't worthy. RHOSLC - Whitney warns Monica about getting too close to Meredith; Lisa hosts an Aprés Soirée No Ski Event where she confronts Monica about calling her materialistic; Angie K has Lisa's back and the three women fight, but move on quickly; Whitney and Monica pull Angie to the side and inform her that Meredith is telling people that the streets are talking about her husband and the streets are his boyfriends. RHOC - Tamra and Jenn continue to fight about Jenn's lack of transparency regarding her relationship with Ryan; Taylor confronts Heather about her remarks about the movie role she offered to her; most of the women gang up on Heather (again!); Gina confronts Shannon about the CPS comments made and Shannon absolutely refuses to apologize and instead decides to start reading out a list of things she did for Gina instead. New info comes to light when we find out that both Taylor and Austin discusses potentially dating just after the reunion filmed... Craig's store has taken a huge step forward as they signed a deal with Kroeger to sell his merchandise. The only negative is that he no longer will have the freedom to go back and forth to NYC when he wants. Will he and Paige finally decide on a home base? Rod sits down with Austin to let him know that he and Olivia have been hanging out and Austin clearly doesn't love it. But with the potential drama with Taylor, that won't be taking center stage. Then we're back with RHONY and Jessel and Pavit have finally set a date for a staycation to end their sex drought. Meanwhile, Jenna is getting back into the dating pool with a wonderful wingwoman in Brynn. The ladies head to Shooter's favorite, a sound bath, to do some self care. Jessel invites Sai to lunch and it is a very interesting scene. Sai won't give Jessel the time of day and all Jessel is trying to do is apologize if she made it seem as though she was comparing their upbringings. Sai is incredibly rude and dismissive throughout the entire lunch, and the cool girl act is getting old. Will those two be able to move forward, or is this the start of an ongoing feud? All that and more on our midweek episode! Time Stamps: Southern Charm (10:52) RHONY(48:23) Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
In this episode I break down the latest RHONY episode and honestly, Sai really irritated me with her “too cool for school” attitude towards Jessel and the Spiritual activity Ubah put together. Jessel finally gets her moment to rekindle her intimacy with Pavit but did she actually go through with it?? Plus! Emily Simpson has entered the chat and she's not holding back! Teddi and Emily dig into this week's RHONY and made a shocking correlation -- Shane walked so Pavit can run! Also, did Erin go from Queen Bee to… a Karen? It's starting to get icy on RHOSLC but we're all wondering how Angie got herself a snowflake? Plus, Emily gets real and settles rumors about her fitness journey and fitting into the OC Housewife standards.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What's up Bro's?! We bid farewell to what was a delightful first season of Crappie Lake. Sonja and Luann are putting on the town talent show, Benton Follies, and it's a beautiful send off for the ladies. The show was heartwarming even though Steel is a tough critic. The overall sentiment of this episode is that not only did Sonja and Luann have a huge impact on the town, the town left its mark on them as well. The people of Benton are sad to see our RHONY OG's leave and we the viewers were sad to see the show come to an end. It was a perfect ending to a great season. Then we're back in NYC and Erin is getting ready to "renew" her vows, but it's actually the first time her and Abe are saying vows. Unfortunately Ubah has covid so she isn't going to make it to the party, but we find out that Jenna has broken up with her girlfriend of a year and a half. Although according to her it may have been an on and off scenario. Jessel and Pavit are discussing whether or not to send the twins to private pre-school (to the sum of $62,000.00) and aren't seeing eye to eye. Jessel and Erin have both agreed to move forward in their relationship and start over with a clean slate. At the party, Brynn goes overboard when flirting with Abe and we see the ladies get in trouble when they decide to talk during the 45 minutes of speeches. At the end of the episode we see Sai leave early so that she can go next door to NoBu because the food at Erin's party just won't cut it... What's up Bro's?! To get things started on todays episode, we return to Crappie Lake to see how Sonja and Lu are doing. Between the talent show, the playground, the dog shelter and the hot tub at the hotel, these women are putting their money (and time) where their mouth is and getting things done around town. The shows still delightful to watch as this week we see them prep the town for the Variety Show. Sonja is enjoying the process while Luann is using her "expertise" to be a little bit pushy... Overall this show is the best. We will watch every single episode. Then its on to RHONY for what we agreed was the best episode yet. We are getting into the back story's of our cast members week by week and this week Brynn took center stage in what is both a fascinating and uplifting story of where she came from to where she is now. Growing up in Indiana, Brynn let's us know that she is biracial. Having been adopted by her mom's mom who was white, and navigating being biracial in a predominantly white Indiana town was not easy as she tells us. But through a hair salon Brynn was able to connect to her heritage and with black culture overall. It's an extremely interesting story and one that was not easy to tell so hats off to Brynn for speaking up and sharing it with us the audience. We also get a little more on both Ubah and Erin, as we learn that Ubah has lost her mom, her number one confidant, as she tries to make a decision regarding the future of Ubah Hot (we need this hot sauce). Erin tell us about her parents and her real estate background. Jessel and Pavit have a tough discussion and we see Jenna Lyons stir the pot... All that and more on our mid-week episode! The FOMOsapeins are back, this time with an episode where resident English cricket fans mourn over the supposed coma that England cricket has gone into as far as the red ball is concerned. New year, new season, but the same old RCB! Or maybe not. Before the start of every edition of IPL, RCB manages to rack up a pretty formidable side on paper, that at least on the basis of merit, should have won a couple of trophies already. But the reality is far from different. Each year they suffer from similar death bowling woes, coupled with batting troubles due to overdependence on Virat and AB. This year, however, they've made some million-dollar buys and are once again rallying to the tune of EE SAAL CUP NAAMDE. Tune in to listen to Harshit and Pavit dissect RCB's chances this year and whether or not they can get their hands on a much desired maiden title for some of the most loyal fans in the country. Overwhelmed with emotion after watching the first part of the RHONY reunion, Sarah realizes the best kind of energy to enjoy is someone equal parts ASMR and calm. So, she sends out a Bravoholic bat signal to parts unknown (shoutout Texas!), and is delighted when her Bravo content creator pal, Dana Omari-Harrell (@IGFamousByDana) immediately flies to the cloffice for an epic deep dive. They discuss whether Housewives can have an expectation of privacy regarding their romantic lives (and boundaries around filming Housewives' kids), the ways Bravoleb plastic surgery is discussed/critiqued by the audience (and Andy), the connective value of understanding complicated relationships between cast members and their parents, and the gender politics around how Jessel and Pavit's sex life (and levels of intimacy) were discussed by the rest of the cast.
