In this episode, Shri Krishna takes on the role of a messenger, or Rajdoot, for the Pandavas. With the looming threat of war between the Kauravas and the Pandavas, Krishna travels to Hastinapur to offer one last chance at peace. He meets the Kaurava elders, Bhishma and Dronacharya, and King Dhritarashtra, to persuade them to avoid the devastating war. Krishna urges Duryodhana to return the rightful share of the kingdom to the Pandavas, emphasizing the futility of conflict and destruction. However, Duryodhana, blinded by ego and greed, rejects Krishna's counsel, leading to heightened tensions. This episode beautifully captures Krishna's diplomatic efforts, his wisdom, and his foresight, while foreshadowing the inevitable Kurukshetra war.

Situated in Kollum District Kerala, Peruviruthy Malanada Temple is probably the only temple dedicated to Kaurava Prince Duryodhana. In this temple Kaurava prince is being worshipped for many generations. There are many other temples in the vicinity dedicated to Gandhari, Dushala, Karna etc.    There is no idol in this temple, instead there is an empty platform that is worshipped as Duryodhan's throne.    It is believed that during the incognito period of Pandava's exile Duryodhana along traveled all over the world trying to find them. During one such expedition he landed in this village. He was tired and thirsty, and was offered a drink by an elderly woman. Pleased with this Duryodhan rewarded the village with wealth and one hundred acre land.    Even today the tax generated from that land is called Duryodhanan, which means Duryodhan's wealth.    Learn more about your ad choices. Kritavarma was the commander of Shrikrishna's Narayani sena and Duryodhan's friend. Because of Shrikrishna's promise to Duryodhan, he fought for the Kauravas in the great war. On the last day of the battle he accompanied Ashwatthama inside the Pandav camp and helped him in killing the five sleeping sons of Draupadi.  Many years later when Kritavarma taunted Satyaki for the unfair killing of Bhurishrava, Satyaki called him out for killing helpless Uppandavas. He eventually became the king of Anga, a region in Bengal, under Duryodhana and joined the forces of Duryodhana during the Kurukshetra war. He was supposed to kill the third Pandava Arjuna, but he eventually died in battle with him.In the Mahabharata, Karna is shown to be a flawed but good man. After meeting his biological mother, he learns that his sworn enemies are his half-brothers but decides to continue being a loyal friend to Duryodhana. The character of Karna is a symbol of a man who is rejected by those who should love him but finds respect and love from the very people he should have stood against. Despite his shortcomings, he still manages to become a role model to many around him.His character is often developed to raise and discuss major moral and ethical dilemmas. With the massive Kaurava and Pandava armies standing in formation against each other in the Kurukshetra battlefield, ready to launch an attack and start the war, Arjuna told his charioteer Krishna to take his chariot to the middle of the armies so that he could see clearly the warriors raring to go.    Thus positioning himself at a vantage point between the 2 armies, what Arjuna saw before him made him dumb. Right in front, among his opponents, stood Bheeshma, the highly revered family elder, and Drona, the teacher dearest to him. Then he saw in both armies his relatives like grandfathers, uncles, brothers, cousins, nephews, sons, teachers, friends, and well-wishers all set to combat and kill one another. The very sight overwhelmed Arjuna with compassion, distress and sorrow, and he started sharing his deep emotions with his friend Krishna.      “Seeing my own people arrayed against each other in this bloody war, I am losing my physical stability and mental balance; my mind is thoroughly confused, and I cannot hold even Gaandeev, my bow in hand. I see only misfortune and no good in killing the near and dear! I don't desire victory, kingdom, power, pleasures, and joy at the cost of people like these. What I get by slaying them cannot be pleasure but only sin. And having known that killing is a crime, should I commit this sin at all? This terrible war can destroy an entire dynasty and wipe out traditions. Then the families may give into vices; women can turn immoral and give birth to unwanted progenies, ruining all virtues and destroying the quality of life. And those who cause this are sure to get hell.      Instead of committing this horrendous sin, I prefer to stand unarmed and get killed on this battlefield.” Devastated thus by anguish and grief, Arjuna threw away his bow and arrows and sat on the chariot itself in despair.  If you would like to find out more about your chart or have a question about astrology you would love the answer to, please do connect with us at www.astroved.com Follow AstroVed on IG, Twitter, and FB @AstroVed

The Pandavas were in their 13th year of exile, and Duryodhana was so bitter that he refused to accept that the Pandavas had completed their exile in the time allotted. In the Virata Kingdom, Arjuna appeared in front of the Kaurava army and defeated all of the great warriors, including Bhisma, Drauna, Ashwathama, and Kripacharya.  It was time for the Pandavas to reclaim what had been taken from them in a dice game. They even sent a message to Duryodhana, asking him to share lands in order to avoid war, but he flatly refused. Duryodhana was looking for a war. Even Lord Krishna warned Duryodhana about the possible consequences and devastation of the war, but he was still unconcerned. Lord Krishna was Arjuna's charioteer, whereas Duryodhana felt powerful by choosing Krishna's massive army. Both the Pandavas and the Kauravas had anticipated the inevitable. Thousands of humans and animals died as a result of the war, which lasted 18 days. Only a few people survived the Kurukshetra war, which left death and destruction in every family. The history of India is not what we are taught in text books. The Dates are deliberately pushed forward to give Christianity an edge in terms of antiquity. Ramayana, Mahabharata,Tamil classics are dated at ridiculously later dates. Ramayana is dismissed as Myth,Rig Veda ,acknowledged as the oldest literary work,is dated around 5000 BC! Archeological finds push these dates back, especially the finding of, Poompuhar,Tamil Nadu,11000 years, Tamil site near Chennai, India,A million years, Adichanallur,Anbil plates,Keezhadi,to cite a few. Based on the available evidence these could be dated at least 11000 years back. And we have Tamil classics,Sangam Literature. Tamil classics refer to Ramayana, Mahabharata and Lord Krishna repeatedly. Early Tamil Chera King,Udhiyan Cheralaathan fed the Kaurava and Pandava armies during the Mahabharata war. Madurai Meenakshi's father Makaratdwaja, also called Saranga fought along side the Pandavas in the Mahabharata war. The Three Crowned Kings of Tamilakam trace their origin to Solar and Lunar Dynasties. Lord Rama belonged to Ikshvsku Dynasty, the Solar Dynasty. His ancestor,Manu, the first human, was from South India. He moved to Ayodhya with his son Ikshvsku, because of a Tsunami in the South of Vindhya Mountains. Ikshvaku founded the Solar Dynasty,Surya Vamsa. Mani's daughter,Ila,who was left in the South founded the Lunar Dynasty,Chandra Vamsa. The Tamil kings belonged to one of these two dynasties. The origin of the ancient Tamil kings is interesting. Chola inscriptions refer Cholas to be of Solar Dynasty of Lord Rama and Cholas state they belong to Kashyap Gotra. Of of the three crowned kings,Moovendar,Pandyas are reported to be more ancient. So are the Cheras. Chera and Pandya took part in Mahabharata war. Then we have the daughter of Manu,Ila,who founded the Luna Dynasty. Ila Dynasty spread throughout the world,Ailas. Sri Lanka, which was a part of India in those ancient times was the centre of this Kingdom. So we have these two dynasties spread throughout the world. Atlantis legends mention Rama kingdom and Sumerian Kings' List mention Dasaratha,Rama and Bharatha. There is one more Dynasty which has gone unnoticed. The Ila. This Dynasty, with evidence surfacing now, seems to have co existed with the Tamilakam Moovendar and could have preceded them. They were called Ay Dynasty and they ruled from Vizhinjam, now called Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. I have written earlier that Padmanabha Swamy temple, Kerala is about 25000 years old. Ay in Tamil means mother. It could denote the Ila Dynasty. Ay in Tamizh means Mother. The Ay Dynasty ruled from from Vizhinjam. The had a special relationship with Lord Krishna and Krishna was their family deity. Ayar in Tamil means Yadava, the community Lord Krishna belongs to. Taking into consideration that Krishna Married a Pandyan princess and had his daughter Married to a Pandyan princess,it is possible and more than probable that the offspring of Krishna's daughter ruled from Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram. ‘Another important line of chieftains of Tamil Nadu during the sangam period with whom krishna was intimately associated was the Ay. The were known to call krishna as their god.Krishna is accepted as their chief god https://ramanisblog.in/2018/11/09/lord-krishna-dynasty-ruled-from-thiruvananthapuram-vizhinjam/. Days passed and the Pandavas had completed almost ten months in the Matsya Kingdom. Queen Sudeshna had a brother, Kichaka, the commander in chief of the Virata's army and extremely proud and vain. King Virata actually was powerless without him. The real ruler was Kichaka. He once saw Draupadi and was smitten by her beauty and wanted her as his queen. While Draupadi had clearly mentioned to Queen Sudhishna that she was already married to five celestial beings and whoever tried to trouble her would themselves be in trouble, but Kichaka wouldn't listen. He insisted on having Draupadi as his queen. One day when Draupadi went near Kichaka's dwelling to perform her household chores, Kichaka started troubling her. She ran from there to the main courtroom but cold Kichaka pushed her down to the ground and insulted her in front of everyone. No one came to her help. Angry and fuming; Draupadi went to Bhima and insisted that Kichaka should be taught a lesson for his behavior. They came up with a clever plan. They put off all the lights of a dark hall. Bhima wrapped a sari around him and sat there like a woman. Kichaka thought it was Draupadi. As he came near, Bhima pounced on him and there was a fierce fight. Bhima with all his anger and disgust crushed Kichaka. Draupadi announced to the guards that her Gandharva husbands were angry with Kichaka and they killed him. Everyone knew how powerful Kichaka was and that no one other than Balarama and Bhima had the ability to kill Kichaka. The news spread far and wide and reached Duryodhana, who was waiting for a chance to find the Pandavas and decided to attack the Matsya Kingdom. As soon as King Virata heard this, he was shaken. He had always depended on Kichaka and without him, he didn't know what to do. Yudhishthira , the advisor reassured him that he was also a good warrior and could help him. He along with Bhima, Nakul and Sahadev went on to fight with Kaurava's army.  But Duryodhana's army attacked the kingdom from a different direction. King Virata's son Uttara came forward to defend the kingdom and reached the battlefield with Arjuna as his charioteer.  In the battle, Uttara was scared to see the massive enemy's army. Arjuna took him to the Shami tree and asked to pull out the weapons.  As soon as Uttara saw the weapons, he recognized Arjuna.  Arjuna told him about the other Pandavas who were at the palace and also the reason why they had hidden there.  They quickly got onto the chariot and approached the army. Arjuna's teacher Dronacharya and his great grandfather Bhima could immediately make out that the one riding in the chariot was none other than Arjuna himself. Even Duryodhana was jumping with joy thinking that he had found the Pandavas during the anonymous exile year and they will now have to repeat the 13 years of exile again.

Recent studies, excavations of archeological sites relating to Hinduism, Sanatana Dharma around the world, from Australia to South America,Europe, Africa, Russia,China and information on the practices of the aborigines in various parts of the world, indicates that the Sanatana Dharma was prevalent in one form or another in all these places, Western scholars used this to invent the Aryan Invasion Theory, that is a Group called Aryans, invaded India thought the Khyber Pass in the Northern part of India and had influenced the thought processes of the people living in India. This Theory, deliberately floated by the British mainly, to subjugate India , now stands discredited. Please read my detailed Post on The Aryan Invasion Theory, Myth. The Aryan theory could not explain the references to the Sanatana Dharma in Tamil Literature, South India. Tamil language dates back to thousands of years and the Vedas quote them and they, in turn quote Tamil. The oldest Tamil site has been found in Pallavaram, Chennai .(dated around  a Million years.) ‘Archaeologists have discovered India's oldest stone-age tools, up to 1.5 million years old, at a prehistoric site near Chennai. The discovery may change existing ideas about the earliest arrival of human ancestors from Africa ‘. https://ramanan50.wordpress.com/2015/06/01/million-year-tamil-site-pallavaram-chennai-dated-report/ Lord Krishna participated in the Tail Sangam as an Invitee. Please refer my Post on this. He married a Pandyan Princess and had a daughter through her, and got his daughter arrived to a Pandyan Prince , gave her a dowry of one hundred Yadava families to provide her and her children with Milk and Curds. The Chera King Perunchotru Udiyan Neduncheralaathan participated in the Mahabharata War as the provider of food to both the Kaurava and Pandava armies. He had Tharpana performed for those who died in the War. Now comes the curious part. Lord Rama ‘s ancestor Satyavrata Manu migrated fro the Dravida Desa(South of Vindhya Mountains) with his sons and his son Ikshvaku founded the Ikshvaku founded the dynasty, named after him, Lord Rama Belongs to this dynasty. https://ramanan50.wordpress.com/2014/12/30/manu-ramas-ancestor-migrated-from-south-india-5000-bc/ Shiva and His son Ganesha left, during the Great Flood, the time when Satyavrata Manu migrated to North, through the Middle east, traveling through europe, Africa,South America, North America((US), Central America, finally landing in the Arctic, where the Rig Veda was composed. Please refer my Post on this. Then they returned to India, then called the Bharata varsha and this entry was used to be denoted as the entry of the Aryans. The Artifacts, archeological finds, cultural similarities, Languages of the found around the world indicates this. Please read my posts on this. Now Six avatars of Vishnu are from the South. Matsya is from the Ocean and as such we can not ascribe a location on the earth. Kurma is in the Ocean again, but there is a Temple where Kurma avatar took place. Kurmnatha is housed in Sri Kurmam Temple, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. Vamana Avatar was in Kerala and the place where Bali had his kingdom was on the banks of Narmada, where the capital of Bali was situuated. The place Varaha killed Hiranyakasipu is in Nepal, V(B0araha Kshetra), yet there is legend that Varaha is from Tirupati which is Adivaraha Kshetra. Narasimha is from Ahobilam ,Andhra Pradesh. Parashurama Avatar is from the South, Kerala. Kalki is expected to manifest in the South. .......The sixty-four avatars of Shiva in Madurai are not mentioned in the North. The Agamas which came later to Vedas specified rules for the construction of Temples, though Temple worship is not mentioned in the Vedas. Tamil Kings followed this and one finds ancient temples, both for Vishnu and Shiva in the South in the Agama style. https://ramanisblog.in/2015/07/05/pre-sanatana-dharma-shiva-in-south-predates-sanatana-dharma/ --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/ramanispodcast/message
