Yargıtay her yıl Ocak ve Temmuz aylarında yaptığı gibi siyasi partilerle ilgili verileri açıkladı. Bu verilere göre Türkiye'de 188 siyasi parti faaliyette bulunuyor. Ama siyasi ve sınıfsal açısından bakarsanız 188 rakamını epey bir sadeleştirebilirsiniz. İkiye kadar indirebilirsiniz. Düzen partisi bir tarafta devrimci parti bir tarafta. Düzen partisi demek temel amacı ve işlevi sermayenin hakimiyetine dayanan mevcut kapitalist sistemi korumak olan parti demek. 2023'te Türkiye'nin kaderini çizeceği söylenen bir seçime girdik değil mi? Bir tarafta AKP lideri Tayyip Erdoğan vardı karşısında da CHP lideri Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu! Zafer Partisi üçüncü bir aday olarak Sinan Oğan'ı çıkardı. Bir anda 188 parti üç partiye düştü. İkinci turda Sinan Oğan Erdoğan'a, onu aday gösteren Ümit Özdağ da Kılıçdaroğlu'na katıldı. Sadece ama sadece bizim partimiz Devrimci İşçi Partisi Erdoğan'a da Kılıçdaroğlu'na da oy yok diye çağrı yaptı! Artık iki parti kalmıştı. Ne var ki bunda seçim sistemi böyle mi diyeceğiz? Eğer konu esas olarak iki turlu seçim sistemi olsaydı Sinan Oğan'ın seçimlerden sonra yani turlar bittikten sonra Erdoğan'a katılmasını ama çok daha önemlisi Kılıçdaroğlu'nun bugün fiilen Erdoğan'ın safına geçmiş olmasını nasıl açıklarız?Kılıçdaroğlu sattı diyelim, peki ya onun yerine geçen Özgür Özel? 2024 yerel seçimlerine CHP'nin başında gitti ve AKP'yi yendi. Madem yendi neden yerden kaldırmak için normalleşme sürecine dahil olup, erken seçim için bastırmak yerine önemli olan ekonomiyi düzeltmek diyerek İngiliz Mehmet'in işçi düşmanı Orta Vadeli Programı'na kredi açtı? Zaten Erdoğan'ı rasyonel politikalardan sapmakla suçlayan CHP'nin ekonomi politikası tam olarak rasyonel politikalara yani uluslararası ve yerli tekellerin çıkarlarına uygun politikalara dönüş vadeden Mehmet Şimşek'in anlayışı ile paraleldi. Ama orada da kalmadı. Yerel seçimde zafer kazanan Özgür Özel “içerde ana muhalefet partisiyiz dışarıda Türkiye'nin partisiyiz” diyerek AKP'yle aynı çizgiyi savunacaklarını ilan etti. Arada Özgür Özel'in Cumhurbaşkanı adayı hapse atıldı, CHP'li belediyelere kayyım atandı, CHP'nin kendisine kayyım atanmaya çalışıldı ve İstanbul örgütüne fiilen atandı da… Ve şimdi Özgür Özel bakın ne diyor: “Bundan sonra çağrımdır; CHP'li belediyeler AKP ve MHP'li başkanları, yöneticileri davet etsinler. Biz de davet edildiğimiz her yere gideceğiz!”Yargıtay listesi size bu düzenin asla değişmeyeceğini, en büyükler dışındaki partilerin ve dolayısıyla siyasetin de anlamsız olduğunu anlatır. Sınıf siyaseti ise AKP'ye, MHP'ye CHP'ye düzen partisinin hangi amblemine basmış olursa olsun gerçekte bu sömürü düzeniyle uzlaşmaz bir hayat yaşamakta olan milyonlarca işçi ve emekçiyi devrim partisinin asli gücü olarak göreceğiniz bir pencereyi açar. Burada artık sorular ve kriterler değişir. “Kime oy verdin? Hangi partiyi tutuyorsun?” değil “İşin var mı”, “Nerede çalışıyorsun”, “Geçinebiliyor musun?” soruları anlam kazanır. Gücünü kaç üyen olduğuna, kaç oy aldığına, kaç milletvekilin olduğuna göre değil “Kaç fabrikada örgütlendin?”, “Kaç işçi direnişine, greve, fabrika işgaline önderlik ettin?” sorularıyla ölçersin. Devrim için üye sayını değil önderlik kapasitesini arttırmaya çalışırsın. Herkesi kaydetmeye değil devrimci kadrolar yetiştirmeye ve öncü işçileri kazanmaya uğraşırsın. 188 partiden bir tanesini daha değil düzen partisine karşı devrim partisini inşa etmeye çalışırsın! Bu köhne düzenin yıkılmasının değil sürmesinin gerçekçi olmadığını anlarsın! Devrimin tek gerçekçi çözüm ve emeğin tek gerçek güç olduğunu kavrarsın. Bir ömür vermeye değer olan kavgadasın. Devrimci İşçi Partisi'nin saflarındasın!

In this episode of The Biggest Table, I interview Joel Kime about his journey and his book 'Flourishing in Community, A Theology of Togetherness.' The conversation explores maintaining togetherness within a small church, the impact of individualism on modern Christian theology, and how authentic community and biblical togetherness lead to flourishing. Joel recounts his experiences and methods, such as incorporating sermon discussions and conversational sermons, to foster a sense of community. He emphasizes the importance of covenant relationships over contracts and addresses the challenges and practices that can help cultivate a community focused on justice, reconciliation, and flourishing both within the church and the broader world.Joel met his wife Michelle at Lancaster Bible College.  After college they were church-planting missionaries in Kingston, Jamaica for one year. Since October 2002, they have served at Faith Church, first as youth/associate pastor, and then senior pastor since July 2008. Joel attended Evangelical Theological Seminary of Kairos University for his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Theology degrees. He and Michelle are the proud parents of three sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren.  If you catch him in a free moment, he will probably be playing with his grandchildren, reading a book, listening to U2 or REM, running with his dog, enjoying a TV show or movie with Michelle or rooting for the Phillies or Washington Commanders.
