This week's Misfit Entrepreneur is Mark Wills. Mark is a very interesting entrepreneur and like my daughter, Hannah, an adoptee. But his journey was not as easy – something I look forward to him sharing and us talking about today. Mark is the founder of a unique business called the Loan Signing System that has become a top 1% online course in America teaching people how to not only become a notary, but how to succeed in making it a side hustle or full-time career. He is a best-selling author and has been featured everywhere from CNBC to Entrepreneur, and Forbes - even the Today Show. I admit, the first time I heard about a guy who created a business in the notary space, I wasn't that excited, but then I met Mark and realized how genius it was for him to create a massive business in this niche. Mark has not only created a 7-figure business, but is helping countless others build 6 and 7 figure businesses in the much looked over niche of notarization. www.loansigningsystem.com/ To see the full show notes and Misfit 3 for this episode, go to www.MisfitEntrepreneur.com Show Sponsors: Hims: For all you Misfit Entrepreneur Men out there, Hims offers an array of high-quality options including pills or chews for ED and serums, sprays, or oral options for hair loss. Mirror on the wall, I turn away from your harsh truths I won't betray. I fear the judgment in your glassy gaze, the flaws you magnify, the doubts you raise. I know within, imperfections dwell, but in your reflection, they loudly swell. I long for moments without your call, to escape the judgment of the mirror on the wall. In the quiet shadows, I find my peace, where self-worth isn't bound by your ceaseless tease. Mirror on the wall, I'll choose to be free, from your relentless scrutiny, let my spirit flee. My guest today is Bekah George. Bekah is here today to say you can be so much more. The lyrics to Don't Laugh at Me speak to anyone who has felt like an outsider. Whether or not you were bullied as a child, this song will likely resonate with you. Steve Seskin, the singer-songwriter, and his co-writer were first inspired by a young girl's experience of teasing in grade school. But, the song encompasses inequities experienced by those living with physical and developmental disabilities as well as people experiencing hard times. A few months ago I [Leslie] first heard the song in the online dance class, Rumba with Tina. Many of the other virtual dancers were familiar with it and sang along. I just cried. After the class I googled the song title and discovered I knew the songwriter. Steve's wife, Ellen, has been a participant in the Northern California Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group I facilitated. What a small world! Steve's songs have been recorded by recording artists such as Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Waylon Jennings, Tim McGraw, Colin Raye, and Mark Wills. Visit Steve's website to learn more about his music and check out the organization Steve is involved with: Operation Respect.

Welcome to the first episode in our new podcast series reviewing The Office UK. Chris and Dave loved talking about this amazing show when it first arrived on UK TV. It was the thing that brought them together as friends whilst travelling up and down the UK in their band Whatever. We have some stories from the guys about working in offices themselves as well as dissecting each episode. "Downsize" A documentary crew films the activities of the Slough branch of paper merchant Wernham Hogg. The regional manager is David Brent, a 39-year-old man who arrogantly thinks he is likeable and entertaining. Among his employees are Dawn Tinsley, his receptionist; Tim Canterbury, a sales representative; and Gareth Keenan, his sycophantic assistant. David's boss Jennifer Taylor-Clarke tells him that Wernham Hogg cannot run both Slough and Swindon branches, and that the more efficient will incorporate the other. David panics at the prospect of his branch being closed and his employees made redundant, but promises to keep it secret; rumours spread around the office. David hires a new forklift driver and shows new temp Ricky Howard around the office. Tim annoys Gareth by putting his stapler inside a jelly, and later dropping it out of a window. After being confronted about redundancies, David holds a meeting and explains the situation; employees are immediately worried for their jobs. David pretends Dawn is being fired for stealing Post-it Notes, but his joke backfires when she starts crying. Outro played by Mark Wills. Checkout his YouTube link. Have you ever felt shame because you had to ask for help? For money, food, anything. Just like the beggar in our story today he for 40 years had the shame of begging for money. But just like this beggar, Jesus can use us to help people that feel shameful in their situation.
