What Were The Biggest Security Stories Of 2021? Boko Haram took over some parts of Niger State. School Abductions were frequent in 2021, with the Minister of State even declaring that Government cannot protect every school. We also had a public debate over whether or not Government should pay ransoms. There was also the attack on the Nigeria Defence Academy. And there were Telecoms Bans (and bans of other stuff too, like buying fuel in jerrycans) We FINALLY got new Service Chiefs… … But lost one to a plane crash. Speaking of plane crashes, terrorists shot down an Alpha Jet. Another big story: the call to list these groups as terrorists. Zamfara House Of Assembly suspended a Member for links to these groups. We had IPOB's sit at home orders And Unknown Gunmen. Sandra Ezekwesili #NigeriaInfoFM993
