The Equalizer Season 4 Episode 21: Endgame Aired on CBS: August 10, 1989 Directed by: Alan Metzger Written by : Coleman Luck Featuring: Elizabeth Berridge, Amy Morton, Lewis Van Bergen, Josef Sommer, Nick Bakay Penultimate episode! We all remember the gaming mastermind Leon from the 1980 movie Midnight Madness who set off five teams on an epic scavenger hunt just for his own whimsy. Similarly in Endgame, the Equalizer goes up against an old dude who is really into "war games" - which unfortunately are less about Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy, and more about an elaborate recreation of the Battle of Gettysburg with little toy soldiers in his office. And this old dude's fixation on strategic games has bled into a real life game of vengeance aimed at an attorney and her sister (who happen to be pretty messed up themselves). Not necessarily a top tier EQ episode, but Chris and Chuck are on the home stretch and still giving it everything they got, including perhaps the best On This Date segment yet as Chris shows us what he's made of with a heartfelt serenade. @equalizerspod equalizerspodcast at gmail dot com https://www.facebook.com/equalizerspodcast/

A Dunedin, Florida man fired 30 ar-15 rounds at his pool cleaner, whom he mistook for an intruder. The pool cleaner, Karl Polek, was not hit by any bullets, but he did sustain minor injuries from shrapnel and flying glass. The man who fired the shots, Bradley Hocevar, will not face charges, as Florida's Stand Your Ground law protects his right to use deadly force if he believes he is in imminent danger. A fan threw her mother's ashes on stage at a pink concert in Dallas, Texas. The fan, who has not been identified, said she wanted to give her mother a "proper send-off." Pink stopped the concert to comfort the fan and thank her for sharing her story. Officials in Florida said they cannot win a murder case in the shooting death of Ajiké Owens, a 27-year-old mother who was killed by a neighbor when she went to his door to ask for help. The neighbor claimed self-defense, and prosecutors said they do not have enough evidence to prove otherwise. Quavo and Offset, two members of the hip-hop group Migos, have settled their beef. The two rappers had been feuding for months, but they recently announced that they are back together. However, they said there are no plans for new Migos music at this time. In addition to these topics, Amanda also discusses other news stories and current events. She also shares her thoughts on a variety of topics, including pop culture, politics, and social justice. Tonight we open with the immortal Paul McCartney calling it quits publicly on this date in 1970, but we mainly focus on the more recent with the legendary octogenarian seemingly more relevant than ever. As broadcast November 22, 2022 with a lot missing. Tonight, we mark 25 years since the tragic and all-too-early suicide of Michael Hutchence. The INXS leading man had become a superstar back in 1987 as the Aussie band's Kick broke through to the US & UK. However, by this date in 1997 Hutchence was struggling with numerous problems, and they apparently became too much for him to bear. Of course, with it being Tuesday night we are getting Triggered with all the new indie and underground we can cram into two hours' worth of radio with Kat Bass once again out with health concerns. Great new music to highlight in both hours, with our Friday guest River Westin highlighted in part 1, along with new albums out from Weyes Blood, Julien Chang, and Alex Siegel. #feelthegravityTracklist (st:rt)Part I (00:00)INXS – Need You TonightMT Vice – Blue BoyJulien Chang – MarmaladeThe After Hours – Broken HeadRiver Westin – DaydreamingRiver Westin – St. TropezRiver Westin – Pink Velvet Part II (34:13)The Wombats - Same Old Damage Tuesday Beach Club - MARY Weyes Blood - Twin Flame Persona 749 - PoliticianPearl & The Oysters - Pacific Ave Tigerstate - Bisserwisser Tigerstate – Back To You Part III (63:33)Yozoh - I'm Turbid and Cold Alt Bloom - Waste More Time carpetgarden - lonely Cal in Red - Replay (lounge) Pro Teens - My Room Alex Siegel - Tea Leaves Alex Siegel - Charlie Part IV (94:46)Rory Ryan - Keeping My Mind QuietCautious Clay - Sarah Toning Paper Idol - Hey You Ye Ram - Go to the SeaMilky day - Adore Julien Chang - Heart Holiday Julien Chang – Sweet Obsolete
