With the new Superman footage and cast list being leaked and revealed little by little, we thought it a good time to visit and revisit The Justice League, and a little "See This / Not That". #XLessDrEarl is on assignment in Zamunda, so we invite in a Podcast Legend, the Podfather of Geek Out Loud - the one and only Steve Glosson. Glosson, Mikey, and d$ do a little catch up here and there, then discuss the actors and actresses from the Justice League - Henry Cavill, Willem Dafoe, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, Benaffleck, and more -- all with suggestions and our takes on their movies you should see (Arrival! The Town! Dune!) and movies you should totally skip (Heart of Stone... Eragon... Argylle...) Plus a great chat on Marvel and Disney and all the things.

The latest, and one of three remaining, topics left in this year's My Favorite Summer series is our favorite Fantasy & Sci-Fi films! In the 216th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave catch up on all the latest in the MCU, with a Fantastic conversation with podcasting guru Steve Glosson, the podfather of the Geek Out Loud pod'verse. The trio chat about Dave finally finishing his Lego Star Wars project, with Jenn settling back after a summer of travel. Then, straight into the MCU, with some backstory into Disney buying Fox... the Fantastic Four being brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe... what are the "Secret Wars"... how they may or may not be bringing Robert Downey Jr back into the fold... how Wolverine might fit into this... and the problems with the "multi-verse" concept. Plus, more Jenn takes on Iron Man as we dive a little further into the "Jenn-C-U"
Welcome to the third episode of It All Comes Back to Superman Presents…Reuse, Recycle, Re-Release, a sub-series of It All Comes Back to Superman Series II where I will occasionally re-present an episode of one of my other shows (either the first iteration of It All Comes Back to Superman or one of the Superman centric episode of Views From The Longbox) and represent them here for…no real reason other than it sounded like a good idea to get all of my non-From Crisis to Crisis Superman podcasting in one place…eventually. These episodes are presented in their entirety with original opening and closing themes, ads, commentary that may not mean anything anymore, and humor that may not have aged well. This time out I am bringing Views From The Longbox Episode 157 out of the vault, which was originally released on March 26, 2013. This was the second of a two-part episode where I had my good friend and Overlooked Dark Knight co-host Andrew Leyland on to talk about the Silver and Bronze Age origins of Superman. In this installment, which was part of the Superman at 75: The Celebration of a Legend series I did in 2013, Andy and I talk about Action Comics #500, which is one of my favorite Superman comics ever and one of the best re-tellings of the Pre-Crisis origin ever as well. Feedback for It All Comes Back To Superman Series Presents…Reuse, Recycle, Re-Release can be sent to itallcomesbacktosuperman@gmail.com. You can subscribe to the show on Apple Podcasts/iTunes or stream it through Spotify and Audible. The Fortress of Baileytude Podcasting Network is on Patreon. It's mostly a tip jar as I have no time at the moment to produce exlcusive content, but if you like the content I do produce please consider contributing a dollar a month. The closing theme to the show is titled Journey and was composed by Pontus Rufelt. It is licensed from Shockwave-Sound. Next Episode – The next time I roll out one of these I'll have a conversation with Steve Glosson from 2013 all about Smallville.
In this special episode of Rule the Galaxy, Joe and Steve just talk...is Joe the host, or is Steve? Good clean #StarWars fun!!!
FINALLY... Steve Glosson has COME BACK... to... The Deuuuuuuucecast... Fresh off a heckuva WrestleMania 40 weekend, Mikey and Dave chat a little bit about their favorite WWE Superst... WWE Wrestlers in movies! And the best way to do that is to bring on someone who appears on a Wrasslin show, the original Geek, Steve Glosson. First, a mandatory discussion about WM40, which took place a day before recording, with favorite matches, what the WWE did right, the storytelling, maybe a few things we'd change and more. Then, we dive into our Top 5 movie roles of professional wrestling superstars - both past and present - with the rule being we cannot list anyone more than once. Getting their due are the usuals like The Rock, Cena, Bautista and more... and a few names out of left field, like Big Daddy Kool... Bam Bam Bigelow... and a former WCW Champion. Also, random chatter on things like the Superman Death storyline in comics... Civil War in comics and movies... an upcoming documentary passion project from Steve... d$'s 200th episode coming up... and anything else we can think of! It took over 12 years to get here, but here we are. Dave, Mikey, and #XLessDrEarl are at the penultimate episode of an episode that feels bigger than 500. A hundred eps bigger, as a matter of fact... This is Episode 599. As the Big Bracket finally takes shape, there are 27 movie roles that will vie for the title of "Most Iconic Movie Role of All Time" -- from Indiana Jones to Sally Albright to Derek Zoolander to James Bond and more... but we don't need 27. We need 36. And to fill the final 9 roles, we've asked a podcasting legend, the one, the only Geek Out Loud's Steve Glosson to join the show and discuss. With over 40 iconic movie roles in play, most will be eliminated outright, as round by round, more and more famous legendary names are dispensed, tossed aside like Mikey tosses aside Star Wars now... Ethan Hunt gets a final shot... Harry Potter hopes to work some magic... Lord of the Rings has several nominees... Keanu Reeves has two up for debate... familiar names, previous losers like Carl Spackler, Freddy Krueger, and Kermit the Frog try once more. And at the end of the episode, only 9 remain. The Final 9.
In this episode of Rule the Galaxy, I give the regular crew of Alfie, DDoc, and Brent the night off. They do such a great job taking care of things on this podcast...and keeping this thing running. In place of them I have three of the gentlemen that really made my son and I want to start a podcast. Riley Blanton formerly of Star Wars Report, now hosting Walk the Way with Stephen Kent. Steve Glosson, host of Geek Out Loud Scott Ryfun, the most-listened to man in South Georgia radio, and host of My Star Wars Story. We discuss podcasting, fandom, Lando, Spiderman, how much money Scott spends, and so much more. Give it a listen for some Star Wars fun
In this episode of Rule the Galaxy Joe hosts Steve Glosson of Geek Out Loud. We discuss: ICCCon in Tennessee Ian McDiarmid, Femi Taylor and Vanessa Marshall Return of the Jedi Scott Ryfun How will we look at Star Wars toys in 20 years? Brittney Ann Art, Indecisive Squirrel And plenty more Star Wars topics
It's the end of an era in the MCU, as Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 has just hit theaters - and it's the last hurrah of the Marvel Cinematic Universe group of characters that link audiences to the Infinity Saga... sure, some heroes will carry over, but it does feel like we are saying good-bye to the MCU as we know it. But what kind of ending is it, and how does it stack up against the rest of the MCU films released since Avengers: Endgame? That's what the Deucecast crew aims to find out -- with Mikey, Dave, and #TwitterlessDrEarl on the show, and Young Spawn of Ryfun, the Pride of Albany, GA, Lil G, but now he's a Big G, fresh off of his prom and headed to Senior Portraits, Garrison Ryfun joins the show to discuss and rank in their own top tens those very films. Starting with Spider-Man Far From Home, then to Black Widow, where the show picks up another guest, one Steve Glosson, who comes in to present his own list. Then the Shang-Chi, Eternals, Spider-Man No Way Home, then Doctor Strange & the Multiverse of Madness, with Thor Love & Thunder, Black Panther Wakanda Forever, then Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, and ending with Guardians 3, it's a long discussion, but a worthwhile one. Plus, everyone but Steve (who questions as to whether he's seen it or not) also give their own quick review on Guardians 3 (SPOILER FREE, by the way). And stick around for the ending, which goes off the rails as usual, from who gets invited to the show, Mikey's dismissal of Scotty Ryfun's concerns, Punisher movies, TMNT movies, Cannonball Run Criterion Collections and so much more. And of course, Casey's Biggest Hits.
In the 153rd episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave put on their best masks and power up the Quinjet (though they heed Edna's "No capes!" rule) and head toward the massive film entity of The Marvel Cinematic Universe... aka The MCU. But to discuss such a large story and filmography, they figure a few expertise wouldn't hurt. Enter Podcasting Poobah and host of the Geek Out Loud podcasting empire, Steve Glosson! In Disney'ing this week, they talk a little about Return of the Jedi in theaters, too many LEGO sets, and Jenn's upcoming river cruise overseas. Then, they each share a little about what brought them into the MCU fandom, and finally, they dive into Marvel Phase One, Two, and Three, with a look at the original 2008 "Iron Man". From there, they go indepth in some, breeze past others, and discuss the overall monumental achievement made by Marvel and by Disney. Finally, some guesses as to where MCU might be headed, and a few things they can do to nail Phase Five.
In a special edition of The Deucecast Movie Show, pulled from the weekly Deucecast Xtra, an all star panel convenes to discuss the state of the Star Wars franchise -- where it was, where it is, and where it's going. In this episode of Rule the Galaxy Joe hosts a one on one with Steve Glosson of Geek Out Loud. Steve is one of the main inspirations for Joe and Joey to start Rule the Galaxy. They discuss: The Force Forceology What is new in the Sequel trilogies and more Star Wars topics
In this episode of Rule the Galaxy Joe tried to host the show but co-hosts DDoc and Brent decided to let Steve Glosson do what he does... This was one of my favorite episodes as the Rule the Galaxy crew and Steve discuss the NFL and College Football to start. We discuss D23 and many of the stories that came out of that event... Somehow we discussed how Steve lived part of his life just using movie lines...like from Tommy Boy It looks like Joe and Steve will do a Hot Tub episode of Geek Out Loud in the Future... And we finish up going down a wild Professional Wrestling tangent... Maybe one of our best shows yet!
In this Episode of Rule the Galaxy Joe, Alfie and DDoc welcome special guests Steve Glosson of Geek Out Loud and Adam Bray, Star Wars and Marvel author. We discuss Legacy characters and compare Jurassic World to Star Wars Tons of Kenobi discussion, Tons of Toy discussion It is a LONG episode but great!
In this episode of Rule the Galaxy, Joe gave the crew a night off and welcomed in Special Guests Adam Bray, Scott Ryfun and Steve Glosson. We covered a little bit of everything, Star Wars and otherwise. What is a CD and how many of us worked at Music Stores? We do a deep dive into a Book of Boba Fett recap. Does Baby Yoda need to talk soon? Did they spend all their $$ in this series on the Luke special effects? We rarely saw Boba Fett as the Hero! OR Big Baddie... The Kenobi series...we are all looking forward to it. Will the 3rd Sister beat Kenobi up? Cara Dune was the physical specimen needed to kick butt! The look of the Grand Inquisitor was off...Scott thinks we will see an updated version when the show starts. Does Lucasfilm have a problem with the look of bringing animated characters to life? Steve thought of Paul Bateman when he saw the cooking tables in Jabba's palace. Joe tries to maintain control...the guests derail the train! Adam has an epiphany about cultural appropriation...Why do so many actors fear covering their faces in shows and movies? Black Krrsantan was awesome! Action figure, not so much. Is Dr Aphra selling? When Lucas sold to Disney, did Vader become a Disney Princess for a while? We do not want a Kenobi / Vader duel that is close to this timeframe...we would like a flashback to them meeting up closer to the end of Revenge of the Sith. Reminder Rule the Galaxy has gear on Etsy. Type in RULETHEGALAXY Cannot wait to attend ICCC in Nashville April 29 - May 1. So many great guests attending. Scott recently went to Galaxy's Edge. Loved it again...wishes there was not a $5000 paywall. It has been 20 years since Attack of the Clones. Most of us did not love it at first...but 20 years later we love it and appreciate it. Great Soundtrack. Great world-building. Seismic charges...the chase scene at the beginning!! The YODA fight scene rocks!! Hayden's voice was wooden but was leaning towards how Vader spoke under the mask. Scott has a friend that used to make bootlegs! Prequels have had help with the Clone Wars It has been seven years since The Force Awakens!! We jump into DC and Marvel talk to finish the show...Joe loses more control and Steve brings the voice... @rulethegalaxysw on Twitter Rulethegalaxysw@gmail.com Rule the Galaxy on YouTube and Facebook

Joe, Alfie, Brent, Dave and Nick welcome Steve Glosson of Geek Out Loud. We discuss a number of Star Wars topics: Will there be Bothans in Andor series? What Star Wars collectible is Alfie getting soon? And when will his Boba Fett helmet show up? Our Mortis Poll on Twitter had around 150 votes, and to my surprise 75% of the responses were that people loved that Arc. Steve thought the number would be higher...which led to Steve and Brent discussing the merits of Mortis! Adam Bray wanted to know what the name of Steve's personal starship would be in Star Wars. We had a Quantum Leap question for Steve but I am not sure we ever got an answer. Reminder, that our crew will be attending ICCC in Nashville April 29 - May 1 and we hope to see you there. Book of Boba Fett Episode 6 - From the Desert comes a Stranger. This was some of our favorite Star Wars in a long time. It hit all the emotions and feelings that Star Wars fans have been looking for. Everyone loved seeing Cobb Vanth back. Why did R2 shut down with Mando? LUKE!!!! Seeing Luke this way was incredible...not only the technology but the story. Seeing the Clones killing Jedi at the temple during Order 66 in Grogu's memory was outstanding. AHSOKA!!! We are old family friends...just great! Her and R2 together again...made us melt "No place more safe than with Luke" Is Grogu a Foundling or Padawan? Luke and Ahsoka!!! I think this means so much to Star Wars fans. "Sometimes the student guides the Master" "So much like your Father" WOW Sandcrawler with Krayt Dragon skull on top...Chef's Kiss! Deputy - thought it was Dash Rendar to start (Just Scott) Freetown! In this chapter of Rule the Galaxy, Joe, Alfie, DDoc and Brent welcome Dave Jones, part of the Georgia Star Wars Mafia, as our guest. @thedavemjones We discuss how DDoc is a man of many talents...building holiday train tracks to go along with all of his other skills. I realize how easy I have it that my kids are all grown up as Alfie, Brent and DDoc face new challenges every day. We find that Dave was born in 1981 and saw Empire and Jedi before A New Hope...and how he loved the Ewok movies. And why wouldn't he? He was the perfect age for those movies. Dave did a Wrestling Podcast with one of our favorites, Steve Glosson and they did over 100 episodes! As for Star Wars, we discuss: The failed Rancor Haslab project The Acolyte has a new lead, Amandla Stenberg. That gives us comfort that the project is going in the right direction. Joe does not know what Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is but is so excited Mara Jade is being added. Brent, DDoc and Alfie explain and he is now glad he has never jumped into it. The Patty Jenkins-Rogue Squadron news is like watching a ping-pong match. Prince Xizor is back in Crimson Reign...another great character...and can Shadows of the Empire be brought back in a modified fashion? Star Wars Eclipse looks incredible but is 3 or 4 years from being released?? Finally saw that Galactic Starcruiser video...wow. Alfie said it was like going to Blockbuster back in the day and Star Wars was not available so you got a movie similar to Star Wars. @rulethegalaxysw on Twitter RuletheGalaxySW@gmail.com Rule the Galaxy on YouTube and Facebook

We look at all the cool new details and photos from THE RISE OF SKYWALKER and we let it fuel our speculation. Plus, how will Luke and Leia fit in to the final chapter of the Saga? And how does George Lucas's approach to creating Star Wars differ from Disney? We look back at 20 years of THE PHANTOM MENACE and share our memories, from the epic lightsaber duel, to the methods of the puppet master Senator Palpatine, and we debate over who is the true protagonist of the Episode I. Joining us for the whole episode, from The Big Honkin' Show, is the ebullient Steve Glosson, master of the GOLiverse.

Definitely for “mature audiences”, the back-and-forth feel of this movie is a genuine throwback to the joy of reading Choose Your Own Adventure books. Perhaps more of these will be created soon. Maybe bring in some of our favorite franchises like G.I. Joe, Transformers, or even He-Man. The possibilities are only limited by imaginations at this point. Just two days after Jeff unveils his wedding plans there's another dinner. This time, Steve Glosson has made his way into Brunswick to record a Force Awakens commentary. They plan on it being the first one to hit the internet but they're beaten to the punch by Rebel Force Radio by a day. Ron and Jeff are unavailable, so Ryan, Steve, and Scott grab Thomas to join them at Barbara Jean's. Steve and Ryan have had a simmering feud boiling for a few weeks and once they come face to face...nothing. But it does result in some very good action figure talk. Now, let me warn you that Barbara Jean's is a great restaurant, but it's also a tad noisy, so some sections of this podcast are more difficult to hear than usual (and that's saying something!). This Episode of D4G was recorded 1/16/16 at Barbara Jean's Restaurant on St. Simons Island.

STEP IN TIME: Remembering Disney's Matinee Movies is back and this time we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 1975 classic film - Walt Disney's THE APPLE DUMPLING GANG! J oining us on this journey to the old west are special guests Steve Glosson and Teresa Delgado of Disney Vault Talk. They bring their brand of fun and fond memories to the conversation while Richard reminisces about his first childhood crush, Celia (Stacy Manning), and Sarah watches the film for the first time in her life. For anyone else who has not seen this film yet or hasn't seen it in a while, here is a refresher on THE APPLE DUMPLING GANG. Bill Bixby (The Incredible Hulk) plays Russell Donovan, a slick gambler duped into taking care of a trio of mischievous orphans named Bobby, Cloves and Celia. Meanwhile, outlaw wanna-be's Tim Conway (The Carol Burnett Show) and Don Knotts (Andy Griffith Show, The Incredible Mr. Limpet) are out to rob anyone they think has anything worth stealing. Set in the Old West during The California Gold Rush, it's a fun ride. The children miraculously strike it rich, but that's when bad guys come out of the woodwork to steal the gold. It's up to The Apple Dumpling Gang to keep it, and their home with Russell Donovan, safe and sound. Hilarity ensues, and so does our conversation. Exactly how does a show roll from The Apple Dumpling Gang into the 80's sex-romp comedy, Porkey's? We valiantly tried to be the first podcasters to put a commentary track for The Force Awakens online. Steve Glosson and Scott made plans and set a date to record, and THEN Rebel Force Radio beat them to the punch. The boys decided to soldier on anyway. Listen and enjoy! Take it to theater with you and listen the next time you watch TFA! This commentary recorded 1/16/16 at a secret undisclosed location.

Fangirls Going Rogue: Star Wars Conversation from a Female POV
On this month’s episode of Fangirls Going Rogue, Steve Glosson of Geek Out Loud joins Teresa Delgado and Tricia Barr for a lively and fun discussion about Star Wars. Before getting started, the hosts sent their thoughts and prayers out to Robin Williams and his loved ones. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Phone Number 1-800-273-8255 After the segue to end all segues, Teresa shared listener emails on a variety of topics, including cosplay and fandom fatherhood. The ladies are always happy to hear that listeners are surprised they enjoy hearing about Star Wars from the fangirl perspective! Steve Glosson photobombs the Fangirls Going Rogue at the RebelForce Radio meet-up at Star Wars Weekends. (Photo by David Manderville) After the Fangirls bestowed Steve with the title of honorary fangirl, he shared his first memories of Star Wars – falling asleep during The Empire Strikes Back! – and what being a fan means to him. What’s new in Star Wars? Apparently a lot! Tricia, Teresa, and Steve shared their favorites. They include the new Star Wars Rebels clips, Vanessa Marshall and Tiya Sircar being admitted into the Mandalorian Mercs, San Diego Comic-Con’s Hallmark exclusives, A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller, Episode VII filming in Ireland, a fanfilm with ties to a University of Georgia football star, and Kevin Smith’s reaction to his visit to Pinewood Studios. After an explanation of Justin Bolger’s tweet from the Star Wars Rebels panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Steve helped the fangirls talk about the double standards that exist in fandom. A tweet by a Star Wars parody account also was discussed. Gatekeeping in fandom wasn’t going to dull the enthusiasm on the show for all things Star Wars on the horizon. Teresa looks forward to Star Wars Itty Bitties, and Tricia to the last Legacy Volume 2 comic issue and Fantasy Flight’s RPG Age of Rebellion. The character discussion got a bit hairy this episode as Steve chose Chewbacca. We considered his place in the saga, his death, and whether the Wookiee should always win. Be sure to check out Steve’s shows including Geek Out Loud and Disney Vault Talk, which is co-hosted by Teresa. Follow Steve on Twitter at @GeekOutLoud.
