En 2024, au moins 84 féminicides “officiels” ont été recensés, visant majoritairement des femmes entre 19 et 35 ans, tandis que 4 filles sur 5 subissent des violences sexuelles au cours de leur vie, d'après le comité des droits de l'homme. En 2013, une loi a bien promis 30 ans de prison incompressibles pour les auteurs de féminicides, et en 2022, le collectif féministe “Mujeres creando” a obtenu la création d'une commission chargée de revoir les jugements et les libérations anticipées, censée rendre ses conclusions 4 mois plus tard. Quatre ans plus tard, toujours rien.Dans cet épisode, on part à la rencontre de Rissel, en couple depuis 15 ans avec un homme qu'on traite de “mandarine” parce qu'il assume de rester à la maison avec les enfants pendant qu'elle travaille, dans un pays où les rôles de genre restent ultra rigides. En miroir, on lève la tête vers la France : 107 féminicides recensés en 2024, plus de 46 000 viols ou tentatives, et une hausse de 11% des féminicides entre 2023 et 2024, malgré les grandes annonces politiques.
