La meitat de les inversions del pressupost de l'Ajuntament de Lloret de Mar per aquest 2026 es destina a la via pública i a urbanisme. La partida és de 4,2 milions d'euros. Els projectes més destacats són la remodelació de l'avinguda Vidreres (600.000 euros), Puig de Castellet (150.000 euros), el Pla de Barris (400.000 euros) i una important inversió en millores dels carrers de Lloret de Mar (1.120.000 euros). El regidor de Mobilitat i Via Pública, Joan Escalona, reconeix que “són molt diners amb què volem posar Lloret al dia”. Un dels projectes més esperats és la remodelació de l'avinguda de Vidreres. Les obres es concentraran al tram que va del camp del Molí fins a l'institut Rocagrossa. “Aquesta part divideix el barri, volem fer una avinguda més amable, integrada i còmoda, eliminar barreres arquitectòniques”, explica el regidor. Segons fonts municipals, s'està a punt d'adjudicar la contractació d'aquest projecte. Pel que fa a l'avinguda Puig de Castellet, es tracta d'una obra molt demanada pels veïns. Una via malmesa pel pas del temps i molt transitada al llarg de l’any, especialment en temporada alta, ja que connecta el centre de Lloret amb la Roca Grossa. Les pluges de la tardor passada hi van obrir un forat i la via va estar tancada unes setmanes. Davant de les queixes dels veïns, l’Ajuntament es va comprometre a impulsar-ne la remodelació. El que s’ha previst ara és calcular el que ha de costar tota el projecte i les possibles expropiacions. Tant aquestes inversions com el conjunt del pressupost del 2026 es van aprovar la setmana passada a l'Ajuntament de Lloret. És el més elevat de la història del municipi i puja a més de 101 milions d'euros. Les inversions són 8,6 milions, el 12% més que l'any passat.

La Policia Local retira cada any un centenar de vehicles abandonats de la via pública, entre cotxes, motos i bicicletes. Unes accions que s'impulsen arran de la demanda veïnal, amb l'objectiu principal de mantenir l'espai públic més ordenat i segur per fomentar una millor convivència. Moha Soltani, sotsinspector de la Policia Local de Lloret, assenyala que, tal com marca l'ordenança, es considera un vehicle abandonat quan queda més de trenta dies estacionat en un mateix lloc i presenta símptomes d'abandonament, com tenir la ITV caducada o no té assegurança. “També es considera en estat d'abandonament quan el vehicle és retirat de la via pública, per alguna infracció per exemple, i passen dos mesos al dipòsit sense que el requereixi ningú”, ha afegit Soltani. “L'ordenança és molt clara: un cotxe es considera en estat d'abandonament quan porta més de 30 dies estacionat en un mateix lloc i presenta símptomes d'abandonament”Moha Soltani Transportant els cotxes abandonats (Ajuntament de Lloret de Mar) El sotsinspector assenyala que ningú s'ha d'espantar perquè en cap cas retiren vehicles de persones que poden estar de vacances o malaltes, sinó que segueixen tot un procediment abans de tractar el vehicle en qüestió com a residu. “Un cop detectat el vehicle, es fa un seguiment, s'aixeca una acta, s'intenta contactar amb el titular i, si finalment el contacte no s'aconsegueix, es fa un decret per informar a aquesta persona que el vehicle es considera en estat d'abandonament i es tracta com a residu sòlid”Moha Soltani Si un cotxe presenta perill públic es retira directament (Ajuntament de Lloret de Mar) En aquest sentit, posa èmfasi que l'objectiu principal és millorar l'espai públic del municipi i afavorir la convivència veïnal. “L'objectiu principal és facilitar l'estacionament als veïns que viuen a la zona i generar una sensació de seguretat, ja que els vehicles abandonats poden generar sensació d'inseguretat, brutícia o deixadesa que des de la Policia i l'Ajuntament volem combatre”Moha Soltani El que sí que han de tenir en compte els conductors és que tots els vehicles han de tenir l'assegurança al dia, ja que és obligatori, tant si estan estacionats a la via pública com en un espai privat. Alguns dels vehicles abandonats retirats (Ajuntament de Lloret de Mar) Si algú detecta un vehicle abandonat, pot notificar-ho a la Policia Local a través d'una instància o de l'aplicació de mòbil Lloret Smart. En cas de tractar-se d'una propietat privada cal actuar per la via civil.

El procés d'independència català es va centrar en la política parlamentària i la voluntat de fer un pas “de la llei a la llei”, una mesura que ja en aquell moment criticava el militant, Albert Bertrana, resident a Perpinyà des de fa dècades. Per Bertrana, tenir representació independentista al Parlament és útil, però no és feina d'aquesta institució “espanyola” fer la proclamació d'independència. Aquest dissabte 20 de desembre, el Casal Català de Perpinyà acull un acte a les 11h per presentar el Pacte Nacional pel reconeixement internacional de la nació catalana davant les Nacions Unides.
