Sean O'Sallaigh decided to take his mom, Mary, on a trip to Nepal in 2018. His mother suffered from Alzheimer's disease. He wanted to take her from the harsh Irish winter. What Sean noticed was the travel actually improved her condition. She started walking and talking again. Then Sean took her to Rome where they visited restaurants. Everywhere they travelled, Mary engaged with people. Later they travelled to South Africa. She died there at age 83 after more than a year of travel.* This is an example of faithfulness. Sean was devoted to his mother's best interest over months of time. Faithfulness is often associated with devotion to the interests of another. This is true of the story of the talents that Jesus told in Matthew 25. A master entrusted servants with his wealth. After a long time he returned. Hear what the master said to the good servant in verse 23, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!"(NIV) God's Spirit is working to produce in us this type of faithfulness. The faithfulness that is devoted to the interests of Jesus. The faithfulness that looks after the interests of others and enables them to trust us. The faithfulness that is expressed over time. May you be found faithful! *"Devoted Son Took His Mom With Alzheimer's on Incredible Round-the-World Adventure–And She Improved," Good News Network, June 1, 2021, https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/son-mom-alzheimers-world-trip-sean-osallaigh/. The teams in the East are rising again, and it's time to take notice of those beasts. We start by highlighting Brian Flores and the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills, and the completely helpless New York Jets. Then we go the NFC East and highlight the charging New York Giants and Washington Football Team, and then look at the Philadelphia Eagles' decision to make Jalen Hurts their new starting quarterback. After that we take a closer evaluation at the resume of the current Tennessee Titans' Offensive Coordinator, Arthur Smith, as he could very well be a new Head Coach next season. Then as we go through the power rankings we highlight the one loss Pittsburgh Steelers, the 6-6 Minnesota Vikings, the Drew Lock led Denver Broncos, and the head coaches in the basement that could be fired such as Matt Nagy, Anthony Lynn, Doug Pederson, Doug Marrone, and Adam Gase. Then we get to a very special game of the week as we are joined by Reason from Phinside the NFL and is a podcaster for the Phinish Line as part of Dolphins Brawl. EP61: Michael Visits SO IL The boys are together again for a whole weekend and things get a little cray. This podcast is just the two of them catching up and having fun. Drinks are flowing and Jello shots have been eaten, but there is a disagreement on the proper technique. Michael is introduced to Big John and how life works in SO IL. Tractors, Corn, Soy and beans everywhere. That lead to a rant about Soy and allergies, and the reason why we no longer eat at Green Dot Stables in Detroit. Sean misses Detroit and the boys discuss changes happening in the city. They were both quite passionate about Detroit, so it dominated most of the conversation. Then Sean shares his secret to making strong Jello shots and what they like to drink in Summer time. The Sean let’s one rip and swears there is no smell. Michael shares stories about his parents childhood drinking. His dad is sober and the funniest man alive. Sean executes a google search and the boys suggest it is a better test for sobriety than saying the alphabet backwards. SO IL has the country’s most empty Walmart. Michael meets a buff crossfit girl, and she makes him wanna work out. So he decides to go running with Brooklyn in the morning. But, secret time, he doesn’t wake up. Too many jello shots is the excuse. Which leads to a crazy convo about brutal nature. https://unchurchedpodcast.wordpress.com Email: unchurchedpod@gmail.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/unchurchedpod/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/UnChurchedPod

Tactical thinking makes good beer.  Live from prominent projector Protector Brewery: the Garage Hour goons invaded Protector's beer concentration and tortured Sean Haggerty (SEAL Team 5 and Protector Team 1) with rainy day traffic until he told us tales of brewing Berserker (cherry puré infusion!), Beast Mod (friendlier when you pet it), and Pineapple Grenade (it's about the gravity).  Then Sean swung for the fence, and we captured two segments dense with great beer technique, including frozen infusion, CO2 and good water, feeding sugar, making nice with yeast, and why learning to embrace the suck is a watershed moment for beermakers and warfighters both. Because it's the Beeralani Maker's District, the Gearhead Consultancy also purloined Guillermo Nasser of Collective Culture, the new #kombuchery going in next door.  He's going to bring #funkyferments to the masses (and promised to make some with a buzz).  Alongside he and Sean, there's bald tires, hail and lightning, the Liberator Taster Paddle (are you man enough?), veteran businessmen and Protector at Miramar.  Who are you to resist?
