Noi credem cu tărie că un mesaj în care Evanghelia si Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu sunt centrale şi expuse autentic, are impact în viaţa ascultătorului. Aşadar, fie că eşti membru într-o biserică sau auzi pentru prima dată un mesaj de genul acesta, avem încredinţarea că dacă-l vei asculta cu seriozitate va fi benefic pentru viaţa ta. Credem cu tărie că Dumnezeul Triunic s-a revelat personal în Scripturi şi deasemena credem că a revelat omului planul Său cu privire la creaţie. De aceea încercăm, în măsura în care am fost înzestraţi de Duhul Sfânt, să transmitem mesaje fidele Scripturii, care afirmă despre ea însăşi, că este singura autoritate, suficientă pentru orice aspect important al vieţii omului. 2Timotei 3:15-17Suntem o comunitate de oameni obişnuiţi, păcătoşi şi imperfecţi dar care prin Harul Lui Dumnezeu, jertfa substitutivă a Domnului Isus de la cruce şi lucrarea tainică a naşterii din nou făcută de Duhul Sfânt, personal în fiecare dintre noi, am fost salvaţi, regeneraţi şi sfinţiţi. Credem deasemenea că suntem făpturi noi locuite şi abilitate de Duhul Sfant să trăiască o viaţă de sfinţenie pentru Gloria Lui Dumnezeu, având onoarea şi responsabilitatea să fim angrenaţi activ în lucrarea de răscumpărare a Lui Dumnezeu. Noi nu pretindem mesaje infailibile, dar pretindem că Biblia este infailibilă; Nu pretindem că avem monopolul Adevărului, dar pretindem că Hristos este "Calea, Adevărul şi Viaţa". De aceea scopul nostru nu este să te inducem în eroare sau să te amăgim, nici să spunem doar ceea ce vrei să auzi, ci este să expunem clar Cuvântul Lui Dumnezeu pentru ca Acesta să producă Credinţă autentică în viaţa omului şi să dea direcţie celor aflaţi deja pe calea sfinţeniei. Știm şi recunoaștem că suntem într-un proces de învățare continuă, astfel identificăm slăbiciuni în ceea ce privește expunerea Cuvântului lui Dumnezeu, pe care cu ajutorul Duhului Sfânt vom incerca să le diminuăm, dar în ciuda acestui neajuns universal valabil tuturor lucrătorilor de pretutindeni, avem certitudinea că preluate de Duhul Sfânt, mesajele noastre bine intenţionate vor fi de folos pentru o lucrare destoinică. Aşa că frate/soră sau prieten/ă drag/ă, dacă asculţi acest mesaj, te rog să inţelegi că Dumnezeu în providenţa Lui a decis să-l asculţi, intr-un scop pe care-L are cu tine personal, dar cu un beneficiu reciproc, probabil spre mântuire, pocăinţă, încurajare, zidire, mustrare, corectare, învăţare. Discutăm și despre Starlink, soluția de internet global care a început să revoluționeze conexiunile din zonele izolate, iar birth control pentru bărbați și plasticul peste tot sunt teme care ne pun în fața unor provocări importante pentru viitorul nostru.Așadar, emisiunea de astăzi este un amestec de teme relevante și subiecte care ne fac să reflectăm la direcția în care se îndreaptă lumea. Avem o țară de plângăcioși. Dar nu asta e ”calitatea” numarul unu a românului, ci cârcoteala, găsirea de nod în papură celui care este diferit. Și dacă cumva a reușit careva - sigur, sigur, a făcut el ceva șmecherie. N-are cum prin muncă și creier. Ce, noi nu avem creier, noi nu muncim? Noi de ce nu avem? De fapt, ”energia” pe care o folosim pentru critică ne-ar fi mult mai utilă dacă ne-am concentra pe propriile țeluri. Mentalitatea de cârcotași ne ține pe loc și ne blochează evoluția pe toate planurile. Ce fac oamenii care au reușit financiar? De unde au început, cine i-a susținut, cum au reușit să ajungă la sucess financiar? Care sunt obiceiurile care i-au dus la succes, ce rutine au, care e focusul lor? Ce educație au primit, de unde știu cum să-și investească banii? Sunt milionarii oameni de succes? Care este rolul familiei în viața unui om de succes? Kai Vitalija Maksvytė nusprendė išsiskirti su pirmuoju sutuoktiniu, aplinkiniams buvo šokas: juk negeria, nerūko, nemuša, ko dar reikia? Tačiau atmosfera šeimoje kaito ir kėlė emocines kančias. Neapsikentusi toksiškų santykių su vyru, moteris nutarė skirtis. Moteris buvo beveik keturiasdešimties, su trimis mažais vaikais. „Kam tu būsi reikalinga“ – buvo ir tokių gąsdinimų. Congratulations to our sports teams who finished their seasons this past week, our vocal and dance students who celebrated Springfest last Wednesday to a packed audience, our mariachi and Folklorico students who performed at Willow ES on Friday, and our graduating seniors who have completed all of the requirements for graduation. Monday is a late-start day and  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are all short days when students are released at 1:15 pm. Monday is our Senior Awards and Recital beginning at 6 pm, Tuesday is Senior Clearance and Cap Decorating Day, Wednesday is Senior Breakfast and Graduation Practice, Thursday is the Senior Picnic, and Friday is Graduation at 6 pm. Saturday is Legacy Sports Day at 9 am.   June 10 is the last day of the semester. VAPA summer begins June 13-17 with the Leader in Me Student Leadership Institute and Jaime Escalante Math program, Summer School and Summer Bridge is June 22 to July 22, Freshman Orientation is August 6 and the first day of school next year is August 12. Congrats, Legacy VAPA Dance Team competing in the WCE Dance Team Nationals today at the Terrace Theatre in Long Beach. We are super proud of our dancers, competing for the first time with some of the top groups in all of Southern California. Congrats, Legacy VAPA, with many groups performing today at is first of all today at Torres. Groups included Mariachi, Jazz Band, Showchoir, and Theatre Company (Frozen). Thank you to our wonderful directors (Ms. Espinoza, Mr. Cuevas, and Ms. Craig), our art teachers who had work displayed (Ms. Holland and Ms. Ly), and our alumni TA/Assistant Directors, Ms. Hernandez and Ms. Flowers. Also, special thanks to VAPA family and friends, many who were in attendance. We hope you will be able to join us for our 10th Anniversary Gala Event this Friday at 6 pm in the MPR. We will celebrate our founding teachers and administrators, celebrate the success of both VAPA and STEAM, and see several presentations and special performances. It will be awesome. Kai namuose pradėjo skraidyti ir į sieną dužti uogienės stiklainiai - Asta suprato, kad daugiau toks gyvenimas nebegali tęstis. Spruko nuo smurtaujančio sutuoktinio su trimis mažametėmis pametinukėmis ant rankų. Išeiti į niekur buvo sunku, bet savo ir dukrų sveikata bei gyvybė buvo svarbiausia. Asta dirbo įvairius darbus, bet ilgai svajojo rašyti knygas. Ir štai, artėjant pensijai jos svajonė išsipildė - pirmą knygą išleido būdama 60-ies. Dabar jau parašė tris ir neketina sustoti.Ved. In the digital age, you may have little wolves going unnoticed as they gnaw away at your bank balance. We'll explain today on MoneyWise. The little wolves we're talking about are recurring monthly subscriptions that you've probably forgotten all about. You might have signed up for a free trial period that lasted a few weeks. After that, the provider began charging you a monthly fee. Do that a few times and the money you're losing adds up quickly. Especially if you're not even using some of those apps. And what about streaming subscriptions? When was the last time you thought about how much you're actually viewing the programs provided by a streaming service? There the money really adds up. You could be paying from $10 to nearly $100 a month for something you're not using. These providers often raise their prices and the new, higher prices are simply deducted from your bank account. The less you pay attention, the more money they make. And they don't always make it easy to unsubscribe. So, do you need help canceling unwanted subscriptions? Fortunately, there's an app for that. In fact, there are several apps now that make the process a lot easier. Some of these charge for the service, but many are free. We've mentionedTruebillbefore on the program. It will go through all of your transactions and create a list of your subscription services. Then you can tell Truebill to cancel the ones you no longer want. The app then does it automatically. Truebill says it has canceled more than a million subscriptions for its users. As an added feature, it will monitor your regular bills and let you know when payments are due. If you're not sure what a subscription is for, theChase Account Managerwill identify what company is charging you, so you can easily determine if you want to continue a service or cancel it. Trimis another online tool that will cancel old subscriptions for you. Using artificial intelligence, Trim will also contest bank fees. Keep in mind that no app can cancel fees that are still under contract, but Trim has features that can help you lower bills that are contracted with vendors like Xfinity, Time Warner and Verizon. Trim is pricey at $99 a year, but they claim to save the average user over $600 the first year. Hiatusis another that will assist you in canceling unwanted subscriptions but it will also go over your banking transactions looking for unfair rates. Finding any, Hiatus will advise you on how best to negotiate lower your bills. Enofrom Capital One monitors customer accounts to track your spending and prevent fraud. And get this it will also notify you when a free trial is about to end so you can cancel and avoid any surprise charges to your account. If you're looking for the world's first robot lawyer, that's howDoNotPaybills itself. In addition to canceling unwanted subscriptions, DoNotPay lends assistance in challenging parking tickets and getting refunds for late deliveries. It will also make it easier to sign up for free trials without getting hit with a recurring charge. So those are some of the apps that will help you get rid of unwanted subscriptions, and we'll put links to all of them in today's Show Notes. But wouldn't it be better to minimize or eliminate those subscriptions in the first place? As they say, An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Unless you plan to never sign up for another subscription, you need a game plan to avoid recurring charges. Start by setting a reminder whenever you sign up for a free trial. Put the expiration date on your calendar or use Google Tasks to remind you to cancel the subscription before you get dinged. And here's an idea that's almost guaranteed to reduce the number of subscriptions you sign up for. If you want to subscribe to a service add the expense to your monthly budget before you sign up. Seeing where you might have to cut somewhere else to make room for the new expense will probably make you think twice before committing. Therefore, our school is distributing two (2) free rapid antigen test kits for each child before spring break. These tests are a free resource to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.  Individuals should self-test no earlier than 48 hours before returning to school. Therefore, please test your child on Saturday, April 16th or Sunday, April 17th, 2022.  Individuals who test NEGATIVE DO NOT need to upload their test result or show proof of testing and should return to school on Monday, April 18, 2022.  Individuals who test POSITIVE should:  isolate immediately and follow isolation protocols  contact a doctor to make a plan for care, and  upload the POSITIVE result to Daily Pass You will need your child's student ID number, which can be found on the Parent Portal. We are looking foward to welcoming back all of our students and teachers for a regular A-day on Monday, January 10, beginning at 8:20 am. We have some new programs beginning this semester including the new California Cadet Corps, open to any students during Zero Period and 9th and 10th graders during Per. 1 as space allows. California Cadet Corps, a student leadership program similar to JROTC, will support several programs and events at school. We also are partnering with the Harmony Project and will have new classes after school and on Saturdays for elementary and high school students. Congratulations to all students who performed with the LAUSD All-City Marching Band in the Tournament of Roses Parade on January 1 including Greg Enriquez, VAPA Class of 2022. Congratulations to our performing groups in this year's Winterfest, the first LIVE Winterfest in 2 years!  Our performances rocked the house with wonderful singing, playing, and dancing representing all of our music and dance clases. All total, there were literally hundreds of performers! Thank you so much to our amazing directors and thank you to our tech, video, and photo teams who supported the programs. Toy donations from the event will support youth in South Gate through the South Gate Police and City of South Gate Toy Drive programs. As part of our school climate renaissance, we will be giving away 10th Anniversary T-shirts to all students and staff tomorrow. All students and staff are asked to wear their new shirts for group photos on Friday at the beginning of lunch. This week we will have additional on-site vaccination clinics at Legacy on from 12-7 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. All students participating in extracurricular activities and/or athletics must be fully vaccinated by October 31 in order to continue participating in these programs after school.  In order to meet the deadline, students must receive their first dose no later than October 10, this Sunday, and their second dose no later than October 31. This is a later date than earlier announced. We are still having a number of students arrive late and they are missing the first part of Period 1. We will implement our tardy policy beginning this week. All students must have a time/dated tardy slip to be admitted to class. Please note outside food and drinks are not allowed in classrooms. Because some students are confronting teachers at the classroom door, we will no longer be able to allow drinks and snacks to be brought in if we see them at the front gate. This is aligned with all of the Legacy Complex schools and the Welcome Center.
