Im Schwimmbad habe ich fasziniert denjenigen zugesehen, die voller Mut auf Sprungtürme gestiegen und von dort über die Sprungbretter in den Pool gesprungen sind. Ich war diesbezüglich nie mutig. Allein schon ein Sprung vom 3m-Turm war für mich eine Herausforderung. Ich denke, es war diese kurze Phase des Fallens mit der entsprechenden Geschwindigkeit, die mir Angst machte und die ich vermied. Das Sprungbrett ist der letzte feste Tritt, bevor man fällt. Es ist der Übergang vom Gewissen zum Ungewissen. Für professionelle Turmspringer ist das Sprungbrett zusätzlich mit einer Federung versehen, sodass sie noch höher springen und ihre Figuren ausführen können. Was also den einen - wie mir - eher Angst macht, ist für andere willkommen. Vielleicht für einen Turmspringer unverständlich, dass man diesen Kick nicht mag.  Oslo-based DJ, producer and club promoter Faia has played at most of the clubs and venues in Norway, as well as Oslo's biggest open air festival Sommerøya and other electronic music festivals since 2009. She's played at The Villa, Jaeger, Elefant, Skansen, Gudruns, Skippergata, Storgata 26 and Hausmania to name a few.
 Faia has been booked to several techno and house clubs around Europe such as Culture Box, Ved Siden Af, Club VOID, The Deaf Institute, Club Nomad, Burning Man Week Stockholm and many more. In Germany she's performed at Rummels Bucht, Golden Gate and Bohnengold in Berlin, Technodisco, Stroga Festival 2018, and Sandsteinhöhlen 2019. She's even been booked to Thailand at the Jai Thep Festival 2019 and other events in Chiang Mai, Pai and Koh Phangan. Back in Oslo she's booked both local and international female DJs since 2010 to her successful Femmes Fatales' events on various venues. They had a 5 year residency at The Villa, and monthly events at Elefant for 2 years together with partner MØRK. In 2018 Faia got into production as well, and started a collaboration with the Norwegian producer Duppeditt. They own the label Romklang Records together, and are now releasing their music. In 2021 they got signed by the Belgian label PointZer0 Rec, and has recently released music on Music4Aliens in 2022. With the label Small Records she's been a label DJ for a decade, and in charge of the SmallCast mix series since 2019.
