I preached Genesis 50:15-21, which narrates the moment Joseph's brothers approach him, filled with fear and regret for their past actions. Joseph offers them his complete forgiveness. This passage is a powerful example of true forgiveness, demonstrated by God's Holy Spirit. I emphasized to the men that we are commanded to forgive others in the same way, as we have been fully forgiven in Christ Jesus. At the end of the message, I invited prayer requests, and four men shared theirs. One requested that we pray that he and the rest of the men in the room would receive a heart for the broken and lost. One requested that he remain on the path God has directed him to be on and would endure. One requested that he be given the strength in Christ to forgive someone. One requested that we pray for his intimacy with the LORD to grow. He feels he has not been pursuing the LORD as he once had. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/roguechristian/support
