Congressman Mast's comments about rape, murder, and pedophilia have various people near and far calling for his resignation. Veteran Craig Sawyer has called for his resignation stating in Florida Politics, "As a veteran who spends my life combatting child trafficking, I say [Mast's] stance on sex with minors makes him unfit for office," Sawyer said, before dubbing Mast a "Republican in name only" (RINO)."He's an example of the RINOs who sell us out, defy our Constitution [and] need to be replaced before [November]."Craig Sawyer is a Marine, Navy SEAL Sniper, having served with the elite SEAL Team Six, and Federal Law Enforcement Agent. Craig "Sawman" Sawyer has founded Veterans For Child Rescue Inc. (V4CR) and is dedicating his life to raising awareness about the epidemic of child sex trafficking, rescuing victims, and putting predators behind bars. V4CR is comprised of military professionals, former/current law enforcement, civilians, and those who are willing to do whatever it takes to end child trafficking in America now.More about Craig "Sawman" Sawyerhttps://www.vets4childrescue.org/about-the-founder.htmlCraig's documentary on child sex trafficking in Americahttps://www.contralandmovie.com/Nyla Pipes is a local clean water advocate that co-founded One Florida Foundation. While most of us know her for her voice on clean water for all of Florida, many of us, including myself, were shocked to hear she is a rape victim who felt she had dealt with this violent crime that was perpetrated on her until Congressman Mast's comments brought back a flood of emotions and memories she had tucked away. Nyla Pipes publicly revealed she was a rape victim for the first time after Mast's comments surfaced. Nyla Pipes is clear, a U.S. Congressman that as an adult man, joked about rape, murder, and encouraged pedophilia to his good friend and now Campaign Manager, is not a person she holds in esteem and should not represent us in the United States Congress.More about Nyla Pipeshttps://tinyurl.com/NylaPipesKnowhereNewshttps://www.onefloridafoundation.org/This is also a tough show for me because I was a supporter of Brian Mast. I voted for him. I may not be a close personal friend, but considered Brian a very good acquaintance who would always acknowledge each other with a friendly hello at functions or in the grocery store. Brian, I wish you well. I believe you regret your statements, but I do not think you should represent the people. Your views, as an adult married man, does not represent my family or me. I want to be proud of who represents us in Congress. I want my daughter to know there are men who appear to be dignified and in a trusting role, who will prey on 15-year-olds, and that it is never acceptable to joke about raping and murdering women. If I pass this off as just nasty comments, I am setting a bad example for her. To my fellow Republicans who are defending Brian's comments, I ask you this. If Brian was a Democrat, would you still defend him in the same way, or would you call out to replace him with someone who is known for moral principles and ethics? This is not a partisan issue; it is not about voting Red or Blue; it is about voting for a person we can entrust with our children's best interests, our elderly's best interest, and all people in between. To defend this and sweep this under the rug is to accept the rape culture of "men will be men." Don't complain about "the swamp" if you are not willing to vote to drain it.

Merritt Mattheson, candidate for City of Stuart Commission, Group 3AboutMartin County native. Proud father and husband. Devoted civil servant.BiographyI am a proud life-long resident of Martin County and a multi-generational Florida native. My parents relocated to Martin County from Miami, following in the footsteps of my great-uncle Bill Matheson, who had settled in Palm City in the 1950s. I was born at Martin Memorial Hospital and raised in Palm City. I was privileged with an upbringing that allowed me to enjoy the aspects of this community that make it special: natural beauty, good schools, quiet neighborhoods and close-knit communities. My first great love was the sea. I have been an avid fisherman for as long as I can remember. As a young teenager, I also began scuba diving and surfing. Growing up along the South Fork of the St. Lucie River, I've witnessed first-hand the devastation caused by the discharges from Lake Okeechobee. My love of nature was not isolated to aquatic ecosystems. I spent many days exploring, camping, fishing and hunting in the wild hammocks, savannas, creeks and wetlands of western Martin County and beyond.I attended the University of Colorado Boulder where I studied Environmental Biology. In 2003, I earned my captain's license. After college, I settled in Maui, Hawaii, where I worked as a charter fishing boat captain. It was during this time that I discovered I have LHON, a rare hereditary condition that degenerates my optic nerve. There is no treatment for the condition. Within a year, I became legally blind.I moved to the City of Stuart in 2010 with my wife, Chelsey, whose own family ties to Martin County stretch back more than 100 years. Since returning to Florida, I have worked for West Marine in Stuart as the Fishing Manager. I have also purchased and managed investment properties. I currently serve on the LPA advisory board for the city. Though my disability prevents me from continuing to run charter fishing boats, I am still able to do some work as a saltwater fishing guide for friends and clients who own their own boats. My wife and I are now raising a daughter and a Jack Russell Terrier. We have another child expected at the end of August.Though I left Martin County in my early twenties to gain an education and explore the world, I was drawn back here when I knew it was time to settle down and raise a family. My roots here are deep. I am grateful to the generations before me who worked hard to preserve the small-town charm of Stuart, and I am ready to make my own contribution to ensure that my children are able to enjoy and appreciate it the way I did.https://www.facebook.com/mathesonforstuart/

As an environmental activist, I've studied this issue extensively and traveled to every Senate subcommittee meeting in Tallahassee, having participated in SFWMD meetings WRAC meetings and a variety of science-based classes and seminars.Smart growth. This cannot be accomplished without concentrating on infrastructure. Our water treatment plants are antiquated, we have NO real solution to the disposal of biosolids. Our roads and bridges cannot accommodate the sheer volume of traffic that already exists.Education. School safety and supporting our teachers have got to be at the forefront of any conversation. The homeless. Having been very active in this conversation I feel like the current and past administrations have done very little to address this issue.Diversity. We can't move forward with careful, controlled growth without addressing our entire community in the conversation. I will work to support the underrepresented members of Martin County.I've spent most of my life helping and supporting Martin County's most important issues. As County Commissioner for District 1, I will be able to continue that mission and make sure that we get it right! To do that, I need your support. This show is to have a discussion of what is to be a black person living in America today. Late Friday evening of May 29, Jean Laws-Scott's twin daughters, Morgan and Jordan, said they wanted to organize a peaceful protest in Stuart to bring awareness to racism and the death of George Floyd. They wanted people to know that while all lives matter, they wanted to focus the protest on black lives matter. After sharing their idea with their mom, as well as a good friend Alyssa Espitia, the plans were set in motion. Jean contacted Chief Tuminelli, and Alyssa called Henry Duhart of the PSL DNC. The collaborative effort took off on social media, and a peaceful protest ensued.I am so glad to welcome each of these organizers to the show. We are going to talk about racism in America, why they planned the protest, and what they hope comes of it. Also joining the show is Jimmy Smith, President of the Martin County NAACP and Calvin Turnquest. Calvin was born in the Bahamas and gained his U.S. citizenship twenty years ago, and is currently running for Palm Beach County Commission.

About Trevor Loudon: Trevor Loudon is an author, filmmaker and public speaker from Christchurch, New Zealand. For more than 30 years, he has researched radical left, Marxist and terrorist movements and their covert influence on mainstream politics. Trevor Loudon's thesis is that what is commonly regarded as mainstream political policy is in fact driven and guided by hidden subversive elements. The Democratic party's consistent defunding of the US military, Obamacare, the Iran Nuclear Deal, normalization of relations with Cuba, Islamic refugee re-settlement, $15 minimum wage, fracking bans, pipeline shutdowns and the push for illegal alien amnesty are all consistent with far-left and Islamist agendas. Trevor Loudon believes that these forces must be exposed and countered, as America's continued role as a bastion of freedom is pivotal for the future of western civilization. Some of Trevor Loudon's accomplishments: Trevor is currently working on his new film with Director Judd Saul: “Enemies Within: The Church.”Trevor's hard-hitting political documentary, the Enemies Within, was released in 2016.In Collaboration with the Capital Research Center, Trevor Loudon and Director Judd Saul created a series of mini-documentaries free to the public:America Under Siege: Civil War 2017America Under Siege: Soviet IslamAmerica Under Siege: AntifaTrevor Loudon discovered the long-hidden relationship between notorious Hawaiian Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis and the young Barack Obama in 2007.After extensively researching Obama's ties to the New York and Chicago Marxist movements, Loudon began publishing his findings online, catching the eye of such prominent voices as Accuracy in Media and syndicated radio host Glenn Beck.In 2009 Loudon exposed the communist roots of Obama “Green Jobs Czar” Van Jones. After an extensive campaign by Glenn Beck and others, Jones was forced to resign from his White House position.Since 2011 Loudon has toured the United States promoting his two books “Barack Obama and the Enemies Within” and “The Enemies Within: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress” – an extensively footnoted expose of the rapidly unfolding Marxist takeover of the United States government.Loudon has addressed more than 400 conservative, tea party, religious and Republican groups in more than 37 states.Loudon has interviewed many people from both sides of the struggle over the years to former Western intelligence offices, to government undercover operatives inside the communist movement, to former KGB officers. This research has given Loudon unique insight into how extensively often minuscule communist parties have been able to manipulate, and even control policy formation in many Western countries – particularly the “main enemy:” the United States of America. Loudon's research shows that this is not just a historical problem, but is a very grave and looming threat which will not only impact America's national security but indeed her very survival. Trevor proudly serves as a fellow at both the American Freedom Alliance and the Inter-American Institute for Philosophy, Government, and Social Thought. https://www.trevorloudon.com/
