Compliance Clarified – a podcast by Thomson Reuters Regulatory Intelligence
In this episode Lindsey Rogerson and Rachel Wolcott, senior editors in London discuss the growing risk – both reputational and regulatory for financial firms invested or lending to methane-intensive corporates. Methane has 28 times the warming effect of CO2. The two main sources of man-made methane are agriculture and fossil fuels, and increasingly lawmakers are pushing responsibility for reigning in emissions onto the financial services firms. Lindsey and Rachel discuss the various regulations that are in place or in train to ensure banks and investment firms are collecting data on the methane intensity of their loan books and portfolios. These include the Sustainable Financial Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the EU Methane Regulation and the EU Deforestation Regulation. They go on to discuss the growing public interest in who is funding agribusiness and the fossil fuel industry. And how the satellites coming online to monitor methane leaks will increase the scrutiny on banks. And Rachel can't resist a cow joke or two. In this installment of the Narcissism Series “Our Part In Dealing With NARCS” ORRA is joined by Ahban from the BOCC to discuss and examine how, When we find ourselves in relationships with narcissistic people, it is important to take responsibility and accountability for attracting them into our lives. This is because it is likely that something is wrong with our spirit and how we are living our lives. We must recognize our own transgressions and repent for our actions in the relationship. It is possible that these narcissistic people were meant to be in our lives to teach us how we need to improve. We must take responsibility for our own actions and understand that we have the power to change our lives for the better. We can learn from our mistakes and use the lessons we have learned to create healthier relationships in the future. It is important to be mindful of our own behavior and how it can be affecting our relationships. We must also be aware of our own self-worth and remember that we deserve to be with people who respect and value us. In this installment of the “ Truth Seeker Series” ORRA is joined by guests Ahban and Chaakamgabar from the BOCC to discuss how The LGBTQIA+ community has had a major influence on children, largely by pushing sexual perversions in their schools and books. This has been done by introducing curricula that promotes the acceptance of homosexuality and transgenderism, as well as by introducing books that promote these topics. This has led to a situation where children are exposed to these topics at an early age and are encouraged to accept them without question. The LGBTQIA+ movement is also glorifying homosexuality and transgenderism in an effort to make them more socially acceptable. This has led to a situation where the movement is slowly pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable in society, and some fear that this could lead to the eventual acceptance of pedophilia as a social norm. This is an alarming prospect, as it could lead to an increase in child abuse and exploitation. It is therefore important that the LGBTQIA+ movement works to ensure that it does not go too far in its attempts to normalize certain sexual behaviors.Welcome to the Network of Awareness Podcast Radio Show!

Hex! Hex! It's RealiTea Time!
Wow, was ein Auftritt.

Today we won 7-0 in front of the Board of County Commissioners So, I'm thankful for that, but even more thankful I don't have to drive in rush hour traffic to and from work every day. I'm extremely grateful that my father is supposed to be discharged from St. Joseph's Hospital North today. He's been there since Saturday for dehydration. The kidney doctor says his kidneys are fine. No one seems to know why he keeps getting so dehydrated and short of breath. His lungs are in great shape, which is amazing since he smoked up until his heart attack in 2011 or so. Back to our win. Florida Hospital wants to build an urgent care center at the corner of Gunn and Citrus Park Lane? in the D1 parking lot. We are fine with that, but they wanted an extra access road that would eat up the available traffic allowances for the area that were paid for by Chris Daye and were to include our traffic, once he builds his two hotels. We have been trying to work with Trey Traviosa and the hospital partners; even offering to pay part of the improvements, but I think they thought they could just bulldoze over us. Howie did an awesome presentation to the BOCC and we won 7-0. Hi, I'm Carole Baskin and I've been writing my story since I was able to write, but when the media goes to share it, they only choose the parts that fit their idea of what will generate views. If I'm going to share my story, it should be the whole story. The titles are the dates things happened. If you have any interest in who I really am please start at the beginning of this playlist: http://savethecats.org/ I know there will be people who take things out of context and try to use them to validate their own misconception, but you have access to the whole story. My hope is that others will recognize themselves in my words and have the strength to do what is right for themselves and our shared planet.
