We discussed his many passions, including beat-based music under the name Trevor J, where he has released around 26 albums.Trevor J shared with us how music was his first artistic creation, and his first album happened to be a suicide note. Oakley, son of the late Allman Brothers Band founding bassist Berry Oakley.  The group issued two albums- 2019's Down to the River and 2020's Bless Your Heart- before announcing a hiatus in 2022. Betts reflects not only on his upbringing amongst rock and roll royalty and how his extensive experiences have shaped the artist he is today - but delves into his recording process (his second solo album is set for release this summer!), reminisces about his musical inspirations, and looks forward to how he aims to proudly carry his family's legacy into the future.  Support the showIntrospective interviews with artistic individuals - an ongoing audiovisual journal of Zen Perry. I'm moving to NYC! Here's just a short rant about what's going on in my life. This is a pretty vulnerable episode that may be a bummer to listen to but I want to listen back to this in 6 months and see little naive Zen trying to wrap my head around what is going to happen. I hope you get something out of it!
