El Lic. Federico Rivas, doctor en Ciencias Forestales de la UNSE, presentó un proyecto de investigación que busca conocer la distribución de la fauna silvestre en los ecosistemas de ribera del Río Dulce y analizar su importancia para la conservación y el ordenamiento territorial de los bosques nativos.La iniciativa estudiará aves, mamíferos, anfibios y reptiles —y posiblemente también peces— en tres sitios de los departamentos Banda y Capital que son manejados por sus propietarios con criterios de conservación, bajo la figura de reservas privadas.El objetivo es determinar la riqueza y abundancia de especies y analizar cómo se relacionan con las características del paisaje. Además, se prevé divulgar los resultados en las comunidades y escuelas cercanas, y aportar información útil para futuras actualizaciones del Ordenamiento Territorial de Bosques Nativos.

És la imatge que busca l'associació Somos Solidarios creada expressament amb l'objectiu d'organitzar aquest acte, El Son de la Puntada, una iniciativa solidària pensada per recaptar diners per a la Fundació Josep Carreras que lluita contra la leucèmia i per AFANOC, l'associació de famílies de nens amb càncer. La proposta és aplegar més d'un centenar de cosidores amb les seves màquines de cosir en el tram de Passeig de la Ribera de terra, entre el carrer bassa rodona i els gronxadors. Totes elles dedicaran la jornada a cosir bosses de roba que després es vendran amb el fi solidari i alhora crearan una imatge inèdita, la de centenars de màquines de cosir en marxa amb la Punta de fons. El municipio de San Javier vive una intensa actividad cultural al coincidir el cierre de la 28.ª edición del Festival Internacional de Jazz con el inicio de la 56.ª edición del Festival de Teatro, Música y Danza, el cual ha alcanzado este año un récord de 300 abonados. El alcalde ha destacado el éxito de los conciertos gratuitos en espacios públicos como vía para acercar la cultura a ciudadanos y turistas. En el ámbito del patrimonio, se ha celebrado la restauración del Balneario Viudes en Santiago de la Ribera como un espacio de uso público y gratuito que rinde homenaje a las raíces pesqueras y a la tradición de los baños en el Mar Menor. Finalmente, ante la alerta meteorológica por calor extremo con temperaturas de hasta 46 grados, Luengo ha instado a la población a utilizar los edificios públicos como refugios climáticos y a evitar esfuerzos en las horas centrales del día, recordando que "la precaución protege".

¿Por qué las imágenes del dolor nos atraen en lugar de alejarnos? ¿Por qué seguimos contemplando con fascinación los mártires del Barroco, los cuerpos atravesados por flechas, las escenas de éxtasis, violencia y muerte? En este episodio exploramos la relación entre el sufrimiento y el arte barroco, una época que convirtió el dolor en una experiencia estética, espiritual y política. Desde la teatralidad de la Contrarreforma hasta la intensidad de artistas como Caravaggio, Ribera o Bernini, analizamos cómo la representación del sufrimiento buscaba conmover, transformar y hacer visible aquello que las palabras no podían expresar. A través de la historia del arte, la filosofía y la psicología, reflexionamos sobre por qué el dolor posee una fuerza visual tan poderosa, qué diferencia existe entre el sufrimiento real y su representación artística, y por qué estas imágenes continúan interpelándonos siglos después. Un viaje por la estética barroca para comprender cómo el arte convirtió el sufrimiento en una de las formas más profundas de belleza.

¿Qué hace que una obra sea verdaderamente barroca? Más allá del exceso ornamental o la exuberancia visual, el Barroco fue una forma de entender el mundo: un lenguaje construido sobre el movimiento, la contradicción, el asombro y la conciencia de la fugacidad de la existencia. En este episodio exploramos los fundamentos de la estética barroca, desde su contexto histórico hasta sus principales conceptos: el claroscuro, la teatralidad, el dinamismo, la tensión entre apariencia y realidad, el *memento mori*, la vanitas y la búsqueda constante de lo sublime. Analizamos cómo estas ideas se manifestaron en la pintura, la escultura, la arquitectura, la literatura y la música, y por qué el Barroco sigue siendo una sensibilidad sorprendentemente contemporánea. A través de las obras de artistas como Caravaggio, Velázquez, Bernini, Rubens o Ribera, y del pensamiento de autores que han reflexionado sobre este periodo, descubrimos que el Barroco no fue simplemente un estilo artístico, sino una respuesta estética a un mundo marcado por la incertidumbre, la crisis y el deseo de trascendencia. Un recorrido por una de las épocas más intensas y complejas de la historia del arte para entender por qué la estética barroca continúa moldeando nuestra forma de mirar el mundo.

José de Ribera fue uno de los grandes maestros del Barroco español y una figura fundamental de la pintura europea del siglo XVII. Aunque nació en Játiva (Valencia), desarrolló casi toda su carrera en la ciudad de Nápoles, entonces parte de la Monarquía Hispánica, donde se convirtió en uno de los artistas más influyentes de su tiempo. En este vídeo exploramos su biografía, el contexto histórico de la Nápoles barroca, la influencia de Caravaggio y el naturalismo tenebrista que definió su estilo. Analizaremos algunas de sus obras más importantes, como El martirio de San Felipe, Ticio, La mujer barbuda, El sueño de Jacob o sus célebres filósofos y santos penitentes. El projecte de remodelació de l'hort de Can Falç per a convertir-lo en un parc climàtic que conservi els elements patrimonials i, a la vegada, ofereixi nous alicients com un espai de jocs atractiu per als infants, ha començat a donar el primer pas per a fer-se efectiu. Ahir el ple municipal va aprovar el projecte i la primera dotació econòmica per a l'obra i, en conseqüència, tot plegat ha de començar ben aviat. La regidora Carme Gasulla va posar en valor la pensada que en el seu dia va tenir el grup polític de Nou Horitzó i la historiadora Beli Artigas, i va voler remarcar el paper especialment significatiu que han tingut els alumnes de 6è de l'escola Miquel Utrillo a l'hora d'incorporar propostes al projecte. A la vegada, ahir també s'anuncià que la Diputació de Barcelona té previst començar el projecte de consolidació i reforma de la masia de Can Falç, quelcom que permetria integrar-la al nou parc climàtic i, a la vegada, possibilitar l'obertura d'una via entre el Cap de la Vila i la Ribera. L'oposició es mostrà en general molt satisfeta del projecte, per bé que lamentà els anys de degradació que ha patit l'espai sense intervenir-hi. El ple també va aprovar la declaració del carrer 1r de maig com a BCIL i també 7 modificacions de crèdit per valor de prop de 2,5M€ destinades a conceptes diversos.
