Jeff Blair and Kevin Barker break down the Blue Jays' 4-3 win over the Dodgers to wrap up the series in Toronto! They take your calls and texts, and get right to the bullpen holding it down after Dylan Cease departed with the bases loaded and nobody out - where do Louis Varland, Tyler Rogers, and Jeff Hoffman exist within the circle of trust? They discuss the offence, including some late runs from George Springer and Daulton Varsho, and Davis Schneider scoring on a Dodgers eighth inning error. Plus, we hear from John Schneider and Dylan Cease himself. 0:00 - They never should've been down by 18 points at home against the lowly Trailblazers in the first place BUT what a comeback by the Nuggets! Man that was awesome. They've now won 9 in a row. And yet...Brett still doesn't know how to make heads or tails of this team. It feels like the Broncos all over again. They're winning but is it sustainable? There's that good ol' sustainable word again.14:57 - The Avs have lost to a few bad teams recently, but they're still in a good spot. They still win the games they need to win. Tonight is one of those. Go to St. Louis, get a W, wrap up the top spot in the Central, and cruise into the playoffs. After that, Bill Kennedy is our favorite NBA ref now. He loves adding a lil mustard to his calls whenever he hops on the mic after a review.32:30 - North Carolina just hired Michael Malone to be their next head basketball coach. That's an interesting move, to say the least. Malone absolutely could've and should've gotten another NBA coaching gig. He won a title. And yet, he ended up in college. That being said, he's the perfect coach for the portal era.
The Jets battled back to get a point but the Preds take it in a shootout by a final score of 4-3. Tough to lose a point given the position of Winnipeg. They went 5-2-1 during this long eight-game homestand which has put them closer to a playoff spot.
Shawn Belle, Tom Gazzola, Jasmine Sidhu and Matt Iwanyk hang out talking about the Edmonton Oilers comeback win vs the Senators on Tuesday night and the upcoming deadline. The EST Hangout is presented by Sentinel Storage!
Millions are bracing for a massive winter storm bringing dangerous ice and snow from Texas to New England. Also, a former Uvalde school police officer was found not guilty on all 29 counts of child endangerment over his response to the 2022 Robb Elementary School shooting. And, after new evidence was unsealed, the final hearing on motions in the Blake Lively versus Justin Baldoni legal battle will determine whether the case will go to trial and be heard by a jury. The Pacers dropped their 15th game of the season in a 122–117 loss to the red-hot Pistons, who extended their win streak to 13 and remain atop the Eastern Conference. Indiana surrendered 71 first-half points but responded with one of their best stretches of the year, outscoring Detroit by 11 in the second half and giving themselves a real chance late. Jarace Walker delivered a true breakout, scoring a career-high 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting and 5-of-6 from three, finally snapping out of his offensive slump. TJ McConnell also looked the best he has all season, dropping 16 points on 8-of-12 as he finds his rhythm after injury. Despite the loss and the 2–15 record, this was one of the most encouraging performances of the season — and a real sign that things might finally be trending upward. The Toronto Maple Leafs erased a three-goal third-period deficit to take down the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3 at home! In this episode of Speaking Sidemount brought to you by XDEEP, Steve Davis talks with Mark Rowe, a former British Army Royal Engineer who began diving in 1989 and went on to become a leading sidemount and technical instructor.Mark shares his incredible journey from military service to full-time diving instructor, including his role in developing the Battle Back program, using diving to rehabilitate injured soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. We explore:
The Bronx was rocking as the Yankees roared back from 6-1 to stun the Blue Jays, with Judge's rocket off the foul pole tying it up and Toronto's blunders sealing their fate. Boomer somehow squeezed in Rangers talk after one of the great Yankee playoff nights, while Dave Sims shilled Dude Wipes on X — apparently for cleaning pens, not posteriors. Jazz Chisholm homered, yawned, and Cam Schlittler's on the hook to back up his mouth tonight. Oh, and in peak “only on our show” fashion — we closed the hour with a reliever boasting 24 siblings and a doctor who delivered twins… with two different dads!
Bud Cauley was a sure thing: three-time All-American at Alabama, Walker Cup star and one of the rare players to skip Q-School and go straight to the PGA Tour. But golf hardly follows a script. After injuries, multiple surgeries, and a near-fatal 2018 car accident that kept him away for more than three years, Cauley wasn't sure if he had a future on the PGA Tour. Now 35, he joins host Tom Coyne from The Bear's Club to reflect on the comeback season that vaulted him back into the spotlight. They discuss the role of family, friends like Justin Thomas keeping him going, and how fatherhood has reframed his approach to the game. It's a genuine look at resilience from a player making the most of his second chance. The Golfer's Journal and this podcast are made possible by reader support. On today's show we have a wonderful conversation with Mark Shervill a tremendous coach from the hidden gem that is Lilleshall Golf Club in Shropshire I have known Mark for very many years We first met when he was a PGA Trainee at The Belfry over twenty years ago. The St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Detroit Tigers 5-4 in a tightly contested game on Tuesday night at Busch Stadium. Brenden Schaeffer breaks it all down here in the latest episode of his daily Cardinals podcast, B-Schaeff Daily, describing some of the key points in the matchup that ultimately turned against St. Louis in a tough loss. While there were numerous key decisions in the game that Oliver Marmol had to make, I'm not necessarily convinced that he erred with, really, any of them when you boil down the thought processes behind each. But in what he spoke at the most length regarding in the postgame, Oli revealed the one decision point that clearly ate at him the most in retrospect of a hard-luck loss for the Cardinals.Follow this podcast feed for Cardinals coverage all year long.

Jim Rutledge and Molly Brown hold it down again with Matt Hamilton still away and WINNING in his curling career! They roll off Molly's confrontational crosstalk with KBN, where the entire ESPN Milwaukee crew calls Molly a Brewers hater for not tuning in all season just to roll up as the "good luck charm" for last night's comeback win against the Mets! Molly makes it clear she's not a hater -- just a casual who's here for exciting playoff baseball -- and Jim makes it clear that he doesn't believe Wisconsin sports fans ACTUALLY care about the Brewers that much... Jim asks which potential loss would make Wisconsin sports fans the most upset: the Brewers losing to the Mets in the Wild Card Round, the Packers losing to the Rams, or the Badgers losing to Purdue this weekend! Why does Primetime feel different about his belief/undaunted love for the Brewers after last night's game, and has 20-year-old phenom Jackson Chourio revived the fanbase? Do legendary plays get remembered if they come in a losing effort, and is Jim a bad sports therapist? They wrap up with the High Life Dive Bar of the Week, and one of Jim's favorites, Whatever Bar in Stoughton!
