(Airdate: 7.17.25) Congrats to us! The Who Cares News just ranked 6th out of The Top 100 Entertainment Podcasts! And we're celebrating the only way we know how—with stories that absolutely don't matter (but you need to hear). First up, Tori Spelling turned her old breast implants into DIY bookends. Yes, really. Then we get spellbound over whispers of Hocus Pocus 3 (Morgan's already lighting the Black Flame Candle), and finally, Nicolas Cage claims he didn't pass the Mom Test when he dated Sarah Jessica Parker. Ghosted by SJP... tragic or iconic? You decide. #WhoCaresButWeDo And @HalleBerry Listen to the daily Van Camp and Morgan radio show at: https://vancampandmorgan.com/stations buy us a coffee

What a CreepSeason 30, Episode 3The Murder of Kirsten Costas(The Inspiration for the 1994 TV Movie Death of a Cheerleader)In the idyllic suburb of Orinda, California, the summer of 1984 was marked by the shocking murder of 15-year-old Kirsten Costas. A popular high school student, Kirsten, was killed by her classmate Bernadette Protti from Miramonte High School. Motivated by jealousy and social pressure, the crime revealed the darker aspects of affluent adolescent life. The murder went unsolved for months, and when the killer was finally found, it shocked the community. I contend that this case was one of the first crimes to highlight the insecurities of Generation X. The incident inspired the made-for-TV film "A Friend to Die For" (1994), later retitled "Death of a Cheerleader." Starring Kellie Martin and Tori Spelling, the movie explored themes of peer pressure, envy, and the price of popularity, giving the case a haunting cultural resonance that still lingers today.Trigger Warning: MurderSources for this episode:The Campo ClawKirsten Costas Wikipedia CNNDiscovery +MurderpediaThe Los Angeles TimesRanker Yahoo NewsPeople MagazineInquisitorScreen RantThe New York TimesThe CinemaholicThe San Francisco ExaminerBe sure to follow us on social media. Jennie Garth is best known to Gen-Xers for her iconic role playing Kelly Taylor on the megahit television series Beverly Hills 90210. Fans of the show may remember Kelly's pivotal “I Choose Me” episode (airing thirty years ago this past May) when she stood between dreamboats Brandon and Dylan and declared that she was choosing herself. Jennie shaped an entire era of pop culture, and now, at fifty-two, she is embracing an incredible new chapter of life—one filled with bold conversations about aging, empowerment, self-love, and the beautiful messiness of midlife. Through her thought-provoking “I Choose Me” podcast and a forthcoming memoir of the same name, Jennie is using her platform to champion other women over fifty by challenging outdated narratives around aging and sparking empowering conversations. Today, Jennie, Jen and Amy talk about what choosing yourself looks like on a normal day, and what it means to be graduate beyond our growing family years into a more independent space where a new age of self-discovery is possible because, as Jennie reminds us, choosing “you” isn't selfish—it's the most powerful act of self-respect. Thought-provoking Quotes: “It was through my conversations with fans, whether it was on social media. or at autograph events that I kept hearing, ‘I didn't know I could choose me until Kelly Taylor told me it was an option.'” – Jennie Garth “If I had gone to college and lived a normal life, then I would have learned things that I didn't actually end up learning until I was in my forties and fifties. So now I'm just searching like, ‘What did I miss and how can I be better? How can I learn more about myself?'” – Jennie Garth “You look around on social media and you see other people's lives and think, ‘My God, they have it all figured out.' And I just never felt like that personally.” – Jennie Garth “Loving yourself is a journey and it's imperative to your wellbeing.” – Jennie Garth “I don't want to please people by being what they want me to be or fitting into this character's shoes. I love acting and I'll never not love acting. But I had to take the bull by the horns and take control of my life.” – Jennie Garth “Competition amongst women was real. It was just part of the world I grew up in. I had to be better than the next girl. What a waste of so much precious time and energy. I used to be intimidated by other women's success or knowledge or position. I kick myself for all the years of lost opportunity of that kind of camaraderie and connection with other women. I feel it so strongly now. It's something that can never be quieted again,” – Jennie Garth Resources Mentioned in This Episode: Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990-2000) - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098749/ Tori Spelling - https://www.instagram.com/p/DKAANczu145/?hl=en I Choose Me Women's Summit 2025 - https://jenniegarth.com/pages/i-choose-me-movement I Choose Me: Chasing Joy, Finding Purpose & Embracing Reinvention by Jennie Garth - https://amzn.to/44d8eMM Me by Jennie Garth QVC Collection - https://jenniegarth.com/pages/me-by-jennie-garth Feeding America - https://www.feedingamerica.org/partners/entertainment-council/jennie-garth American Heart Association - https://www.heart.org/en/health-topics/at-the-heart-of-it-with-nancy-brown/the-power-of-positivity-with-jennie-garth Guest's Links: Website - https://jenniegarth.com/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/jenniegarth/ Twitter - https://x.com/jenniegarth Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/jenniegarth TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@officialjenniegarth Podcast - https://jenniegarth.com/pages/i-choose-me-podcast Connect with Jen!Jen's Website - https://jenhatmaker.com/ Jen's Instagram - https://instagram.com/jenhatmakerJen's Twitter - https://twitter.com/jenHatmaker/ Jen's Facebook - https://facebook.com/jenhatmakerJen's YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/user/JenHatmaker The For the Love Podcast is presented by Audacy. Nothing says Tori Spelling like Rocky IV, The Punisher, Universal Soldier, and Masters of the Universe, but she LOVES Dolph Lundgren and he is here for a surprisingly heartfelt chat about fame, fatherhood, and why tough guys like him always end up with daughters (a.k.a. the “fighter’s curse”). He spills behind-the-scenes sTORIes from Rocky IV, dishes on his wild days with Grace Jones, and that one time he crossed paths with Andy Warhol. Plus, Dolph talks about launching his own vodka brand, insuring his biceps, and TORI goes where no conversation has gone before … IKEA Swedish meatballs. Come for the nostalgia, stay for the Stallone impression. And, see Tori try to BREAK this He-Man {PS… think she warmed his heart!}See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Welcome back to TV Reload. My name is Benjamin Norris and on today’s episode I’m joined by three incredibly talented actors: Ben Lawson, Teresa Palmer, and Jim Sturgess. The stars of the moving new series Mixtape. Now available on Binge and Foxtel. Now, if you’re anything like me, you’ve probably seen these three in stacks of different films and tv shows.. Jim Sturgess, of course, stole hearts in One Day and has gone on to make a name for himself with roles full of depth and charm. Teresa Palmer, one of Australia’s brightest exports, has starred in Warm Bodies, A Discovery of Witches and, oh and I just found out she’s also a mum of six! (Where do you have the time?) And Ben Lawson – who we first met on Neighbours – has carved out a solid Hollywood career in Firefly Lane, 13 Reasons Why, and more. Today, we’re talking about the deeply emotional series Mixtape. From the lost art of making mixtapes to the emotional depth of playing flawed, complex characters. In this chat these three don’t hold back. You’ll hear what it was like bringing young and older versions of their characters to life, how music became a central heartbeat of the story, and why Mixtape hits so hard emotionally. Oh and yes we do get into a few hilarious behind-the-scenes stories, including Ben’s surprising first crash pad in LA, and a surprising link to Tori Spelling. So whether you’re here for the music chat, the acting masterclass, or just some behind the scenes chat? This is an episode you’ll want to listen to from start to finish. Let’s dive in.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jennie Garth is an actor, a podcaster, and the founder of the I Choose Me movement. Garth rocketed to stardom when she played the role of Kelly Taylor on the immensely popular show Beverly Hills, 90210. After 10 seasons on the show, she spent several years branching out into new areas of the entertainment world. She pivoted to comedy in the WB sitcom What I Like About You, competed on Dancing With the Stars, and appeared in her own reality TV show on CMT. She never kept BH, 90210 too far away from her heart. She reprised her role on the CW reboot 90210, and in 2020, she started the recap podcast 90210MG with her costar Tori Spelling. In 2024, she created a series of businesses inspired by her Beverly Hills, 90210 character Kelly's memorable "I choose me" line. Last summer, she launched the Me by Jennie Garth clothing line with QVC and started her own podcast, I Choose Me, on iHeartRadio. This past January, she hosted the inaugural I Choose Me summit designed to empower and educate women.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
RUNDOWN From sandwich shop social dilemmas to a masterful golf preview and the Mariners' ongoing misery, episode 329 hits highs and lows across the sports spectrum. Mitch and Hotshot Scott kick off the episode with a gut-punch Mariners story, a surprising racial etiquette debate, and a nostalgic digression about Jersey Mike's. The show then shifts into full Masters mode with veteran golf writers Bob Harig and Curt Sampson offering deep insights into Augusta's mystique, Tiger's legacy, and why the back nine still delivers magic. The Mariners No-Table returns with Joe Doyle and Brady Farkas venting about Victor Robles' injury, shaky bullpen decisions, and Seattle's 3–7 start.
