El 6 de abril de 2016, la Fundación Rafael del Pino organizó el diálogo “Jóvenes transformando el mundo”, con motivo de la presentación del libro “Pangea”, que recoge distintas argumentaciones sobre cómo mejorar y transformar nuestra sociedad global elaboradas por siete de los jóvenes más importantes e influyentes en sus ámbitos a nivel mundial. Unas voces que no quieren pertenecer a una generación perdida sino todo lo contrario. El acto contó con la presencia de algunos de los jóvenes más influyentes del mundo, a raíz de sus iniciativas y/o sus acciones: Tomás Álvarez Belón, superviviente del tsunami de Tailandia de 2004 que inspiró la película “Lo imposible”; André Leonardo, fundador de World Tour y creador del movimiento Be Bold; Katia Gómez, fundadora de Educate2envision International; Mohamed Amine Belarbi, fundador y CEO de la revista Gulf Elite, y Pablo González Ruiz de la Torre, fundador de Pangea. Todos ellos destacaron la importancia de inspirar a los demás a emprender. Katia Gómez destacó el espíritu emprendedor no es algo con lo que se nace. Para ella, asumir este papel fue difícil pero también una necesidad. Y lo hizo porque consideró que sus debilidades no debían de impedirle ayudar a otras personas. Y también destacó que, a la hora de emprender, lo importante no es el dinero, sino la perseverancia. Mohamed Amine Belarbi coincidió con esta última apreciación y señaló que lo que hace falta para emprender es una actitud, pero también ser consciente de que llegar a ser la mejor versión de uno mismo requiere sacrificios. Los emprendedores, sin embargo, saben que esos sacrificios luego darán resultados. A su vez, André Leonardo destacó la importancia de esa actitud de luchar por lo que uno quiere, porque esa actitud es necesaria para que las cosas sucedan, teniendo en cuenta todas las incertidumbres que hay hoy. Por último, para Tomás Álvarez Belón, emprender es una actitud frente a la vida en el sentido de que, si se quiere aprovechar las cosas que ofrece, hay que ir a por ellas. Para tener esa actitud, Mohamed recomienda perseguir los sueños, porque su valor es incalculable. Katia, a su vez, destaca la importancia de seguir aprendiendo y de abrirse a los demás. Tomás, por su parte, señala que no pasa nada si nos equivocamos y anima a aprender a través de la experiencia. Y, para André, lo importante es tener la valentía de seguir los propios instintos.

El cardiólogo y presidente del Instituto Cardiovascular de Buenos Aires Jorge Belardi participó del ciclo Conversaciones en LA NACION, habló de los síntomas y causas de los infartos y de los cambios en las consultas cardiológicas. Una de cada tres personas es enferma cardiovascular", sostuvo Belardi y afirmó que es importante la comunicación de la medicina cardiovascular "para saber qué hacer". "Un infarto es una arteria que se tapa. La palabra infarto tiene que ser considerada una emergencia", manifestó el especialista y dijo que a cierta edad, la mujer entra en la misma incidencia de infarto que los hombres. Para Beraldi, la sociedad es más consciente de las enfermedades cardiovasculares. "A los 35 años, los hombres deben saber si son hipertensos, diabéticos o tienen colesterol alto", indicó Belardi y agregó que el sedentarismo, la obesidad y el estrés hacen que la persona tenga que ocuparse antes.
