E come è evoluta? Camilla Baresani laureata in lettere moderne all'Università di Milano è scrittrice e giornalista.

Costanza F. è nata e vive a Prato.

In this candid conversation, Ali Prato, journalist, author, and host of the Infertile AF podcast, opens up about her deeply personal journey through secondary infertility, including several miscarriages before ultimately welcoming her son through IVF. Feeling isolated and frustrated by the lack of honest dialogue and resources around infertility, Ali transformed her experience into advocacy, launching her podcast to share real stories and build a supportive community for others navigating similar paths. She also discusses the creation of the Fertility Rally, a powerful space designed to connect and uplift people facing infertility. Ali and Tara explore why open conversations about fertility are so essential to reducing stigma and helping families feel less alone. Ali also shares how her children's books aim to normalize discussions around assisted reproductive technology and modern family building. The conversation expands into broader modern parenting challenges, from navigating technology and social media to raising kids in an increasingly high-pressure world, while emphasizing the importance of honesty, empathy, and community support when talking with children about their origins and family stories. If you are experiencing infertility, listen to this episode and remember you are not alone. by UFO History Buff & Author, Charles Lear Brazil has a history of official UFO investigation almost as long as that of the United States. However, it has an official policy on disclosure that predates the U.S.'s by more than a decade. In 1954, the Brazilian Air Force started The First Confidential Inquiry into Unidentified Aerial Objects in response to the first major flap in that country. In 1969, the Sistema de Investigação de Objetos Aéreos Não Identificados (SIOANI) was established, and nearly 100 detailed case files were accumulated up until its termination in 1972. After this, in 1977, in response to reports of injuries and deaths as a result of UFO encounters in the area of Pará (mainly in Colores) Operação Prato was authorized by Colonel Protásio Lopes de Oliveira. This resulted in more than 2000 photos, 16 hours of film, and a 179-page report. The First Confidential Inquiry, SIOANI and Operação Prato files were classified for decades, but thanks to a freedom of information campaign begun in April of 2004 by the Brazilian UFOlogist and publisher of UFO Revista, Ademar José Gavaerd, many of the files were shown to him and other UFOlogists in 2005 as a prelude to releasing them to the general public. Then, in 2010, Brazil issued Ordinance 551/GC3, requiring every branch of the military and aviation sectors to collect and transfer all UFO reports to the Aerospace Defence Command in Brasilia along with any material proof by way of photos or video on a yearly basis. There, it is to be catalogued and made available to the public. Along with this, since 2012, the Air Force has periodically released declassified files through the Brazilian National Archives, and recently released 893 reports in May of this year. In this blog, we'll look at the history of the Air Force investigation, the efforts of Gevaerd and other UFOlogists to gain access to the case files, and some of the most interesting (at least to us) cases (translated files can be found here) found within them. È finita una lunga settimana. Lunghissima. Resta l'indignazione. Maionese, maionese, maionese, maionese.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
What Cynthia's Drinking: Freixenet Zero Brut (non-alcoholic sparkling wine) What Jessica's Drinking: 2023 Chenin Blanc from Encanto Vineyards (Lake County) This week on Wine & Chisme, we sit down with Cynthia Prato- Army veteran, author, and certified life coach, for one of our most powerful conversations yet. Cynthia opens up about enlisting in the National Guard on a dare, becoming a military interrogator, and being one of the only women in her unit. She shares her experiences with military sexual trauma (MST), the PTSD she carried silently for years, and the moment she realized her unhealed trauma was affecting her son. From growing up as a Mexi-Nica in Miami to serving in Hungary during post-9/11 tensions, Cynthia's journey is raw, real, and ultimately redemptive. We talk about: ✨ Being the first Latina woman in her family to serve ✨ Navigating relationships while carrying unprocessed trauma ✨ The decision to stop drinking and start healing ✨ Setting boundaries with family ✨ Why self-care doesn't require a spa day ✨ How to find your purpose when life doesn't go as planned This conversation gets deep, but it's also filled with hope, humor, and hard-earned wisdom. Cynthia reminds us that healing isn't linear, it's never too late to choose yourself, and whatever you're not changing, you're choosing. Today's guest is a living example of the London Market being a place where global talent can come and enjoy a varied and fulfilling career that doesn't have a glass ceiling. He arrived in London over thirty years ago as a risk engineer and now oversees insurance businesses writing over $2.5 billion in premiums and employing around 400 people. Luis Prato is President of Liberty Specialty Markets in the UK & the Middle East and North Africa as well as being CEO of Liberty Managing Agency at Lloyd's. Because he is an engineer by training he is exceptional in his grasp of the technical side of underwriting and insurance operations. But he is extremely well rounded and has absorbed and internalised the culture of personal relationships and mutual trust that underpins the London subscription market and allows it to keep reinventing itself. Luis instinctively knows that outperformance in underwriting is a combination of both science and art. He has the engineer's analytical mindset to bring rigour and structure to his methods, but also knows that if change comes at the expense of the people who make the market what it is, it won't succeed. So, as the market simultaneously softens, digitises, and adopts AI and varying degrees of automation, this is a compelling and highly relevant conversation that brings us right up to date. Luis is optimistic about the immediate, medium- and long-term prospects for the London Market and after listening to someone as technically gifted, credible and down-to-earth as he is talking in these terms, I think you will be too. NOTES I made a mistake when I mentioned Luis's colleague Matthew Moore. Matthew last appeared on the show in his capacity as Chair of the London Market Group, that is the LMG, not the Lloyd's Market Association - the LMA, which is what I said. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover Trump's viral sombrero memes targeting Democrats, the Pentagon's crackdown on leaks, fresh warnings for U.S. farmers and ranchers, the massive energy demands of AI, the arrest of Nord Stream saboteurs, Ukraine's push for Tomahawk missiles, Chinese mafia violence in Italy, Trump's Gaza peace deal, and even a rare case of good news about China's green energy trash. From mariachi memes to missile wars and mafia battles, today's brief connects the headlines shaping America and the world. Trump's Sombrero Memes Spark Outrage: The White House posted AI videos mocking Democrats with sombreros and mustaches as they demanded $1 trillion for health care, part of which would go to migrants. VP JD Vance shrugged, saying, “Hakeem Jeffries said it was racist… but I honestly don't even know what that means.” GOP commentators called the memes “politically genius” for using humor to spotlight taxpayer costs. Pentagon Orders Polygraphs to Stop Leaks: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth now requires NDAs and random polygraph tests for all staff and contractors to crack down on leaks. Bryan cautions that “polygraphs are tools, not an oracle,” recalling how his first CIA test flagged him for feeling guilty about stealing junior high concession stand quarters. Screwworm Outbreak Worsens in Mexico: Cases jumped 32 percent in September to 6,700, including 5,000 in cattle. Ranchers warn the deadly parasite could soon hit Texas and drive beef prices higher. Bryan urges, “Stock up now.” Farmers and Trump Clash Over Argentina Soybeans: After Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent bailed out President Milei, Argentina sold $7 billion in soybeans to China, undercutting U.S. farmers. Trump promised a bailout using tariff funds, but Democrats are blocking the deal. Bryan calls it “a Mexican standoff” with farmers caught in the middle. AI Revolution Requires 44 New Nuclear Reactors: The IEEE reports U.S. AI demand will equal the output of 44 new nuclear power plants within five years. Russia remains the top uranium supplier. Trump is expanding coal leases and equity stakes in mineral and energy companies, while Bryan slams Silicon Valley's AGI obsession: “Give me a little buddy I can train each day… not a know-it-all chatbot filled with junk data.” Nord Stream Saboteur Arrested in Ukraine Plot: German officials detained a Ukrainian tied to the 2022 pipeline bombing, allegedly ordered by General Valery Zaluzhny. Defense may argue the sabotage was a legitimate act of war. Ukraine Pushes for Tomahawk Missiles: Trump leans toward sending 1,500-mile Tomahawks for “kind-for-kind” strikes. Putin warned it would make America a direct combatant, with U.S. CIA and Special Forces bases likely targets. Bryan warns Russia could also strike from Mexico or use saboteurs posing as asylum seekers. Chinese Mafia Wars in Italy: Gun battles erupt in Prato as Chinese gangs fight over the $115 million hanger market for Italy's fast fashion industry. The city's Chinese population exploded from 500 in 1990 to 40,000 today, fueling Beijing-backed mafia influence. Hamas Has Hours to Accept Trump's Gaza Plan: Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt told Hamas to accept Trump's deal or lose support. Turkey may gain F-35 jets and Egypt may see Trump pause recognition of Somaliland in return. Bryan says, “We are on a knife's edge… pray for peace.” China Finds a Use for Dirty Green Energy Trash: Beijing is planting old wind turbine blades in the Gobi Desert to block sand dunes, creating a “New Great Wall of China.” Bryan admits, “It makes me sad to report it, but this one actually works.” "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32 Keywords: Trump sombrero memes Hakeem Jeffries, JD Vance sombrero quote, Pete Hegseth Pentagon polygraph leaks, screwworm outbreak Mexico Texas beef, Argentina soybeans Milei China sales, Trump tariff farmer bailout, AI nuclear power IEEE report, Trump mineral wars coal leases, Nord Stream pipeline sabotage Zaluzhny, Ukraine Tomahawk missile request Trump, Putin warns U.S. combatant, Chinese mafia Prato Italy fast fashion, Trump Gaza peace plan Hamas Qatar Turkey Egypt, China wind turbine blades Gobi Desert
