We're down to the swan song! Last beer of the week and we get to taste the terroir of El Cajon. Created in a naturally fermented vessel called a Cool Ship, In Praise of Blackberries is as wild as a beer gets!

It's a big juicy hazy bomb from Burning Beard! Whips & Furs takes it's name-sake from a song from The Vibrators of the same name. Much like the it's inspiration this beer seeks to be memorable enough to dig deeper into what it has to offer.

It's a brewery and family favorite and again it's another "happy accident" beer from Burning Beard. Today as we dive into who's playing their 9th Anniversary party we pop the tops on a couple of Circle of Hops!

Prompted by Jeff from Burning Beard's recent stay in Ireland and inspired by the Irish rap group Kneecap, he decided to tap local institution Tom Nickel from Nickel Beer Company to brew Burning Beards very first Irish Red. The resulting beer "Kneecap" is a easy drinking yet full bodied red ale that clocks in just under 4% ABV!

It is time once again for the Burning Beard crew to celebrate their awesomeness! Nine years of happy accidents as a brewery and the party is set for April 26th. As we hang out with Dylan and Jeff all week and get the scoop on this years debauchery we toast a Monday with a beer that wasn't suppose to still be around, but it was so popular they had to keep making it, Coffeecore Pilsner!

A fantastic way to end an amazing week promoting the Punk Rock Saves Lives Toy Drive and what's been cooking in the kettle at Burning Beard, Dylan decided to wrap things up with a naturally fermented beer from their "cool ship." Always willing to collaborate with local San Diego institutions, Burning Beard has hooked up with The San Diego Natural History Museum to celebrate their 150th year! To commemorate this stunning achievement they crafted an equally stunning and easily crushable beer that also pays homage to the light American Lagers, introducing Nat-Lite.

In a complicated string of events, much too boring to type here, we ended up recording this episode in a very nontraditional location.
