I've enclosed a copy of our flyer for more details.I truly enjoy your show and find your information very helpful in my modeling projects. Welcome true believers to X-Men Horoscopes where each week our host Lodro Rinzler is in conversation with a special guest to discuss the X-Men issue that aligns with a significant month and year from their life and what that issue reveals about their future. On this week's episode we are joined by the incredibly charming and kind cosplayer Kissi Frost to cover the PHALANX. We're getting techno-organic y'all! First off, Uncanny X-Men 312 (their birth month and year issue) is entitled ROMP and the Phalanx are not a romp but we have a great time with it. In this episode: if you're gonna date an X-Man you have to accept polyamory to a certain degree Lodro thought ninja sais would be more readily available as an adult (again) it's hard to understand comic injuries...but rain clouds make them prettier the Phalanx are truly scary as a villain Gambit loves to throw motorcycles at people an impassioned defense of the X-Men: Apocalypse movie Magneto has a good cape What does any of this mean for Kissi's future? Tune in to find out! Kissi Frost is an artist, actor, and a lifelong nerd. Having cosplayed since they were fourteen years old, and using Spiderman comics to help practice their English, they've been a comic fanatic for as long as they can remember. Currently, they work as a freelance concept artist, as well as an actor (mainly in the horror scene.) Their favorite comics and cosplays are, of course, the X-Men, with Mystique being their favorite character to portray. They only throw blue babies over waterfalls on weekends, pinky promise. More of Lodro Rinzler's work can be found here and here and you can follow the podcast on Instagram at xmenpanelsdaily where we post X-Men comic panels...daily. Imagine I have hired each of you as a consultant to my brand new (again, fictional) scale model manufacturing company. I want to shake up the injection-molded kit industry and I'm relying on your knowledge and expertise. I am not interested in which kit you want made that either doesn't exist yet or is in need of a new tooling. Instead, I want to know your opinions on scale.I am tasking you each individually with two assignments in this discussion. Time and money are not considerations here (the most fictional part of all). You MUST eliminate a standard/popular modeling scale from a genre of your choosing and justify your choice (for the snarky-minded amongst you, “box scale” does not count). Or “They shouldn't have picked that scale.”You SHALL replace the eliminated scale by adding a new scale for any modeling genre of your choice that you believe is not represented well in the industry — or even at all — and you must tell me why I should invest in your idea. Or “Why they should have picked this scale instead.”Remember, in this scenario you are a pool of consultants competing with each other to have your pitch chosen — so bring your A game to your arguments!I know modelers can have strong opinions about their preferred scale(s) so I hope this is taken in the spirit of fun but if a friendship or two gets dented - well, we can't let that stand in the way of progress.Good luck and may the best arguments win!Rick BakerScale Model Outlier Terry's Suggestion:I say we go to a Roman Numeral system, essentially a decimal system.I is 1:1.V is 1:5X is 1:10L is 1:50C is 1:100D is 1:500M is 1:1000 I suppose you could get larger if you need, for things like starships.***************************************THINGS WE'VE SEEN3D Wild building a 1/200 C5 GalaxyVince Hoffman restoring another RC Tank. And make your voices heard for which faction you would like to see next! -Isyander Everything below is for the omnissiah. But like, you can read it if you want. Just a synopsis of the video you're watching. The Legion of the Damned is an enigmatic and spectral force within the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Originating from the Fire Hawks Chapter, the Legion's transformation into their current state is shrouded in mystery. The Fire Hawks vanished during a warp jump in 963.M41, only to reappear as ghostly Space Marines who materialize unexpectedly to assist the Imperium's forces in critical battles. These appearances are often marked by their ominous and flame-wreathed armor, adorned with bone motifs and other eerie symbols. Their supernatural resilience and combat prowess are legendary, making them a fearsome presence on the battlefield.Their history is filled with tales of sudden and miraculous interventions, such as aiding besieged Imperial forces and turning the tide of hopeless battles. The Legion of the Damned is rumored to be impervious to pain and capable of extraordinary feats of strength and endurance, surpassing even their Space Marine brethren. This spectral army strikes fear into the hearts of their enemies while being revered by the Imperium's forces as saviors in their darkest hours.Notable within their ranks is Brother-Sergeant Attica Centurius, who carries the Animus Malorum, an ancient and powerful relic shaped like a skull. This artifact can drain the souls of enemies and revive fallen Legionnaires, making Centurius and his squad nearly invincible. The Animus Malorum's eerie presence and deadly power add to the Legion's fearsome reputation. The Legion of the Damned has been involved in numerous key battles, including the Battle of the Phalanx and the Fall of Cadia, where their timely interventions have often turned the tide in favor of the Imperium. Despite their spectral and cursed nature, their unwavering loyalty to the Emperor and their relentless pursuit of the Imperium's enemies make them one of the most intriguing and mysterious forces in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. For more detailed information, further exploration of their lore is available in Warhammer 40k resources and codices.TIMESTAMPS —— ——TAGSWarhammer 40k, Legion of the Damned, Fire Hawks Chapter, Space Marines, Imperium of Man, Warhammer lore, Warhammer history, Warhammer 40k battles, Warp jump, ghostly Space Marines, ethereal fire, supernatural resilience, Attica Centurius, Animus Malorum, Battle of the Phalanx, Fall of Cadia, mysterious Space Marines, Emperor's intervention, cursed warriors, spectral forces, Warhammer 40k factions, Warhammer 40k characters, Warhammer 40k universe, Warhammer 40k key battles, Raptorus Rex, Dark Eldar pirates, Space Marine relics, Imperial research station, Ork pirates, ghostly interventions, supernatural combat prowess, spectral army, Imperial aid, Fire Hawks transformation, mysterious appearances, spectral combat abilities, Imperial legends, Warhammer 40k codices, Imperial myth, ghostly interventions, undying loyalty to the Emperor, mysterious forces in Warhammer, Imperial saviors, spectral soldiers, battlefield apparitions, supernatural warriors, Warhammer 40k supernatural.————————————Opinions expressed in this video are solely those of Isyander & Koda and in no way reflect the views or opinions of Games Workshop Ltd.Artwork throughout this video is used for educational purposes. if you see your artwork and would like an art credit, message me.Support the Show.

With over 30 years of experience in studying and working in the history field, Sean's multifaceted expertise in history, sailing, and storytelling enables him to connect people with our shared human experience across millennia. As a historical leadership excellence expert, he guides managers into becoming effective leaders by leveraging the lessons of the past. Sean's use of artifacts and compelling narratives serves as a powerful tool to illuminate history and shape cohesive, high-performing teams. CONVERSATION HIGHLIGHTS When it comes to the issues we have, you can learn that (1) we've been here before and (2) you're not alone. Infusing ancient artifacts with essential leadership lessons An artifact in view is a lesson in view. "A Silent Coach." Leadership acting as a service. A leadership example from the 19th century Bobby/London Police Whistle. The power of going to find the story. Making what you learn relevant for others. Human Interaction & Understanding --> Overcomplicating Everything vs. Going Back To Basics Why we shouldn't write off the people -- or the stories -- of 98% of us who came before modern society as we know it. The two level of how you enrich yourself by extracting modern lessons from ancient history. What would you write on your own epitaph? "Act now so you deserve your own epitaph later." "We need in the modern world a built-in structure where we give people the chance to take a breath and we don't have that anymore." "What connects us to antiquity or the Middle Ages is more than what separates us." Why the word "history" should be a verb rather than a noun. "Uncertainty is where leadership lives."   Follow me on Spotify: https://djphalanx.com/spotify All Tracklists: https://uts.djphalanx.com/   Good evening, dear friends and followers! Tonight, we gather in the realm of sound and emotion for Uplifting Trance Sessions EP. 683. I am DJ Phalanx, your navigator through this auditory voyage, and it is with immense pleasure that I introduce NickXTG as my special guest. As we traverse the landscapes of melody and rhythm, NickXTG's set in the latter half promises to be a banger. Our mission, as always, is to explore the depths of trance music, diving into fresh tracks that resonate with the soul and lift the spirit. This week, we're featuring an exceptional lineup including Darren Porter & Neev Kennedy, Aly & Fila, Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Woody van Eyden, Mario Moon & Dave AirmaX, Fredd Moz, Rene Ablaze, Th3 One, Aion Flow, and many others. These artists, each with their own unique contribution to the genre, come together to create a tapestry of sound that is both diverse and unified in its purpose: to uplift. We're kicking things off with "Distance" by Trance Wax, remixed by Coast 2 Coast—a track that embodies the essence of our journey tonight. It's a piece that combines nostalgic elements with forward-thinking production, setting the perfect tone for what's to come. This track, along with the entire lineup, is a reminder of the power of music to connect, to heal, and to inspire. As we delve into the playlist, from Ozo Effy's "Starline" to the world premiere of Mario Moon & Dave AirmaX's "I'm Free," each track is a chapter in our story. Rene Ablaze's "Here Forever" and Alternate High's "Diving" offer moments of introspection, while Fredd Moz's "Moments" and AION FLOW's "Serenity" provide a backdrop for reflection and peace. Aly & Fila x Lostly's collaboration on "The Unknown" and Darren Porter & Neev Kennedy's "Mine To Keep" showcase the incredible synergy that can occur when artists come together, creating something truly magical. Semper T.'s "Kudos" injects a dose of energy, leading us into Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Woody van Eyden & Marjan's "Moonlight," a track that shines bright in the night's sky of our session. As we navigate through TH3 ONE's "The Calm After The Storm" and Van Cosmic's "Awakening," we're reminded of the journey's purpose: to find calm in the chaos, light in the darkness. The session culminates with Scott Bond & Charlie Walker vs Trouser Enthusiasts' "Sweet Release" (Shugz Remix), a powerful reminder of the cathartic release that music, especially trance, can provide. NickXTG's set, which will close our evening, promises to be a highlight. Known for his dynamic selections and ability to read the room, even in a virtual sense, Nick is sure to take us on a ride through the unknown corners of trance music. His set, much like the entirety of EP. 683, is a testament to the endless possibilities within the genre, each track a thread in the larger tapestry of our shared experience. Murray answers this question from Jsoth, 'during the battle of Issus, it's my understanding that the Macedonian phalanx struggled and even lost ground against Darius' mercenary Greeks. I was under the impression that if facing off directly, the sarrisa-wielding phalanx would be at an advantage with their longer spears, but here, that doesn't seem to be the case. Do historians believe this is accurate, and if so, why or how?' Join us on Patron patreon.com/ancientwarfarepodcast
