Abbott and Costello are receiving their rightful due at The Hollywood Museum with a new exhibit which opened to the public on Friday July 21, 2023. The display features original costumes, scripts, merchandise from Abbott & Costello films and photos from the collection of Lou's daughter, Chris Costello. Geoffrey Mark joins us with the inside story.

This is the story of a boy and his heavyweight passenger car known as “Erie Business Car One.” When not running JL Innovative Design with his brother Mike, Chris Costello can be found pursuing his other hobby of collecting full size 1:1 railroad equipment and the center piece of his collection is “Erie One,” a private railroad car operated by the Erie Railroad Company.  Private railroad cars, also known as business cars or executive cars, were used by railroad executives, dignitaries, and sometimes wealthy passengers for luxurious and comfortable travel. These cars were equipped with lavish amenities, including comfortable sleeping quarters, a dining area, lounges, and even office spaces to conduct business while on the move. Chris bought the car and with the help of some dedicated individuals is slowly bring it back to life. This is a great podcast and one we're sure you'll enjoy!!

I had the pleasure of interviewing Chris Costello -- daughter of Lou Costello of the legendary comedy team, Abbott and Costello -- a few years ago Since then, she has added podcasting to her repertoire of many interests. Today, I will be speaking with Chris Costello, daughter of Lou Costello; who, along with his partner, Bud Abbott, made up the legendary comedy duo. They entertained millions of people on stage, radio and film from the 1930's through the 1950's. Their timeless comedy continues to entertain many people to this day!
