Boomer wonders what Anthony Rizzo's role will be if/when he returns from the injured list. Gio thinks he will be a part-time player. The Yankees have some questions but Gio says the biggest one is will they hit in the postseason. Boomer reminds Gio that he predicted Christan Scott's injury. He says the same thing about every young pitcher. After yesterday's show we learned that Imane Khelif is not transgender. She was born a woman with a genetic condition that led to her not meeting certain eligibility requirements. Jerry is back for an update but first Gio has us guess which headline is real. It's another stumper as Boomer and Jerry can't believe a man inserted a 26 inch eel up his anus. Scottie Scheffler gave a very Jerry-like quote about life ending and being forgotten. Amani Toomer ripped Caleb Williams on Craig Carton's show. Justin Herbert has a foot injury. Boomer says watch out for that achilles. Mike Trout is out for the season. Barstool's Frankie Borrelli, who Boomer and Gio golfed with, was out on the course with Mathew Barzal. In the final segment of the hour, Gio reveals that our friends at Shinesty have reached out to French diver Jules Bouyer, who has a large package that we discussed recently. A caller has a good line about the fella who stuck the eel up his anus.
Hour 1 Gio is worried about the future of the NFL after seeing the new kickoff rule in action last night. He has become the old man grumbling that he used to mock. Is this just the tip of the iceberg? Boomer says no. Gio thinks this is a more radical rule change than anything he's seen, including the ghost runner in extra innings. Boomer thinks the rule will lead to more offense and maybe more kicker injuries. Jerry is here for his first update and has the play-by-play call of the riveting first kickoff with the new rule. Adam Schein is all-in on Caleb Williams and the Bears winning a Super Bowl within five years. Boomer says the Cowboys have no choice but to pay Dak Prescott, who has earned a big contract. Paul Blackburn will make his Mets debut tonight. Feel the excitement. Pat LaFrieda joined Evan & Tiki and made a comment about men eating his meat. Did he know what he was saying or was it a happy accident? In the final segment of the hour, Gio tells us that Jordan Davis had Caitlin Clark on stage with him last night. We take some credit for helping launch his career with the boat party. Danielle McCartan left us a diffuser after last weekend's studio spill. Hour 2 Boomer wonders what Anthony Rizzo's role will be if/when he returns from the injured list. Hour 3 Gio points out that Jerry has been on a roll with predictions lately. Jerry thinks the Giants can have a winning season and the Jets will be in the Super Bowl. Gio believes in the Jets because of Jerry but tells everyone to pump the brakes with the Giants. Most people around football think they will be terrible. Gio recalls how Mike and the Mad Dog's “win/loss” segments used to sound. Ryan Tannehill could be this year's Joe Flacco. A delusional caller says Daniel Jones is Peyton Manning Jr. Gio believes Jones must be GREAT, not just good, to stop the Giants from moving on. Jerry returns for an update but first tells us how he got poison ivy. He has a large rash on his arm. Jerry has another rodent problem in his backyard. Mike Tomlin askes EA Sports for a visual of the new kickoff rules. You can ask a hotel concierge for virtual reality porn. John Mara didn't want to let Saquon go but trusted his football people. The Jets have a lot riding on Will McDonald this year. A big stretch for the Mets begins in Anaheim tonight. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer and Gio react to the NFL Sunday Ticket verdict getting overturned. Gio plans on cleaning up all his subscriptions when he returns from Italy. Hour 4 The NFL's new kickoff debuted last night and Gio is not a fan. We could really be headed for two-hand touch in the NFL. Which famous landmarks around the world are overrated? Jerry returns for his final update of the day but first we discuss the traffic yesterday being worse than ever. In general it has been rough lately. John Mara still believes in Daniel Jones. He expects big things and said that the offensive line didn't block for Jones last season. Jerry has a suggestion for a family bet. He wants to get crazy and bet the White Sox -1.5 runs to win and end their losing streak. Paul Blackburn will meet his new Mets teammates today. Hopefully he doesn't stink. The Moment of The Day involves Gio setting up “win/loss” as only Mad Dog could. In the final segment of the day, Gio says the Mets and Yankees better keep playing well while he's on vacation. We will be at Jets camp when Gio returns from Italy. Hopefully Aaron Rodgers isn't as awkward this year. Al went on a cruise to Bermuda. Maybe the Mets and Yankees will go undefeated while Boomer and Gio are on vacation.
Hour 1 Both the Mets and Yankees won yesterday. The Yankees actually stole a base and the Mets bullpen didn't implode. We golfed yesterday in the sweltering heat in north Jersey. It took Gio 2 hours and 45 minutes to get home. Boomer, Gio and friends are all bringing their little kids and grandkids to the Mets game today. We talked about adults taking balls at games that were meant for kids. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the Mets win over the Nationals. Jose Iglesias had a great game and Brandon Nimmo hit a HR in his third straight game. Ron Darling did not like Luis Severino not backing up the catcher on a play to the plate. The Yankees won thanks to the bat and the glove of Trent Grisham. Players went into the stands in Charlotte to fight fans after a Copa America match. In the final segment of the hour, Bill Belichick is living his best life now that he's not in football. We also talked about Belichick not getting the Falcons job and if Robert Kraft had something to do with that. Hour 2 Aaron Rodgers was approached by a sad Jets fan who was crying that he wants a Super Bowl. This was at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe. Gio said this guy represents all Jets fans that want Rodgers to save the organization. Gio was feeling it this time last year, but he's just not feeling it this year. Gio said Rodgers is not the guy who's going to do it. He is more distracted by things that aren't football and is coming off a huge injury for his age. Plus he's got Rob Saleh and Nathaniel Hackett. Boomer thinks the NFL set up the Jets schedule for success. After the Niners, the Jets face 4 teams with questionable quarterbacks. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Mets beating the Nationals again, 6-2. The Mets bullpen didn't even come close to blowing it. The Yankees didn't have a whole lot of offense but it was enough to beat the Rays, 2-1. Trent Grisham had both RBIs and made a great catch late in the game. David Wells was on with Big Cat at Barstool and told a story about almost fighting George Steinbrenner. Jerry has audio of a crying Jets fan who told Aaron Rodgers he wants a Super Bowl. In the final segment of the hour, Gio realized he doesn't have any Mets t-shirts or polos. Gio doesn't know if that's sad or if it's more adult of him. A caller wonders what Boomer thought of Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels on Hard Knocks as Brian Daboll ran them through some plays on the white board. Hour 3 Frankie Borrelli and Trent Ryan from Barstool Sports' Fore Play golf join us in studio. We all played together and the video was just posted to the Fore Play YouTube channel and Twitter. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Mets beating the Nationals as the bullpen actually came through. The Yankees beat the Rays thanks mostly to Trent Grisham. Chris Russo has a list of things he doesn't like about Summer. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about some of the clothing the Fore Play golf guys brought us and it got Boomer talking about Jerry's yellow shirt. Hour 4 Gio talked about Chris McMonigle hating the fact that Yankee fans are saying this feels like 2022. Meanwhile, they were in the ALCS that season. But, they were not anywhere near actually going to the World Series. The Mets looked good, except for Luis Severino not backing up home two plays in a row. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the Yankees beating the Rays 2-1 in St. Pete. Trent Grisham had both RBIs and made a game saving catch. The Mets beat the Nationals again thanks to Jose Iglesias. The Moment of The Day involves a suite at the Mets game and Eddie's stay at a barn. In the final segment of the show, HBO Max announced a Pete Rose documentary for later this month. The NBA got a rights deal for 11 years, $76 BILLION!
Full interview.

But first, the planet's biggest idiots and morons join together to form Captain QAnon!

In this segment, I detail the amazing work Dave Portnoy (President) of Barstool Sports is doing to help small businesses survive the tyrannical lockdowns in New York City and beyond. Dave has put together a 500,000 dollar fund to help get the suffocating middle class through the month of January. Whatever isn't donated he himself will personally fund! What a beautiful story! Breaking News: Turns out our very own Frankie Borrelli might have dishonored the rules of golf and besmirched his name amongst fans of the show. We get into bunker-gate with Frankie, including a call from his Pinehurst caddie Logan to find out if Frankie really did in fact cheat. After, we discuss Bryson’s comments on Tiger, Jack Nicklaus texting JT congrats after his 50-foot putt last week, and more. Then friend of the show, Kyle Rudolph (40:53) joins us to talk about his experience at a variety of pro-ams including last week's American Century Championship.
The season hasn't even started and we have already lost Luis Severino. It never ends. Hubbs, Tommy, and Marty Mush are back to discuss all the things that have happened in the past week. From Gerrit Cole's debut to the Yankee ping pong tournament, The Short Porch has you covered. Oh, also Frankie Borrelli joins the show to talk about how one slap cursed Luis Severino. (Outro Song: Freaky Friday - Lil Dicky)
Feits' is turning into an old man before our eyes. KFC has been slowly getting robbed. The guys argue over what age draws the line for a death to be called tragic. Voicemails include: TV Butler, Soap & Childhood Lies. Frankie Borrelli (00:43:41) returns to the show to discuss how he got trapped in a lie after accepting a gift, waking up to his apartment covered in blood, and the knife versus bat debate. Comedian Shane Gillis (01:30:37) joins the show. We discuss his controversial firing from SNL, how he got the chance to audition, the fallout of his firing, and more.
Frankie Borrelli is forced to publicly apologize to an anonymous Tiger Woods fan account, jacked Bryson fires shots at Brooks Koepka, new slow play policies are rolled out, and Jack Nicklaus makes more comments on Tiger Woods. We discuss this and much more with the full crew.
We compare Hideki Matsuyama's lower half to Frankie Borrelli's. In Headlines, a couple Fore Play friends, Justin Thomas and Danielle Kang, win yet again; another buddy, the Boss Man, competes in the skins game in Japan; a player on the LPGA Senior Tour incurs a 58-stroke penalty; is Jordan Spieth back?
Frankie Borrelli, our resident lefty, vs Lefty Justin Thomas in a golf match. Who would win? We debate this, slow play, Phil's ramped up Twitter presence and Tiger feeling better. We also breakdown and react to our in-depth Bryson interview from earlier in the week.
The Yankees have continued to roll, this time against the Seattle Mariners. Gio Urshela is just unbelievable, and we have a hard time putting into words what we're watching. The guys relive Tuesday's walkoff and all of its dramatics. What do we do with Andujar/Urshela when everyone gets healthy? Frankie Borrelli joins the show as the guys give him a crash course on what's been going on with this team while he's been consumed with the Islanders. They finish the show with DMs. (Outro Song: "Colder When It Rains" by X Lovers).
On Thursday's episode of Spittin' Chiclets the guys are joined by Ryan Lannon to talk about what it is like playing in Europe, to discuss growing up with Whitney and playing with Biz and Wilkes-Barre. The guys also give a playoff update and break down all the series so far including the shocking upset of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Whit also responds to Marc Savard and Frankie Borrelli as he has been getting attacked from all angles this week.
Frankie Borrelli hosts Barstool Radio from Borrelli's before Bruins/Islanders, and Mr. Borrelli tried to prove he's not affiliated with the mob. Tommy got kicked out of Fan Duel on Thursday and comes all the way back to do radio. Could Biz/Chara beat McGregor/Rousey in a fight?, a ton of gambling content, and more.
On Monday's episode of Spittin' Chiclets we have one of our most interesting episodes ever. Once again, the West Coast Wagon Tour rolls on with Ryan “Bugsy” Malone as the guest. We sat down with Bugsy at the house in LA for a nice long chat about his life, his career and some great stories. The guys are also joined by Frankie Borrelli and Sean Avery to dispute Sean's comments about Islanders fans. Frankie is not happy with Sean and they go toe to toe. The guys also go around the league and talk about some league news including the Hurricanes, Iginla, some suspensions and more.
Dane Cook (1:05:18) is kicking off a new tour and talks with KFC and Feits about his decade of dominance, hashing things out with Louis CK, his Captain America audition, dating a 20 year-old, selling out the Garden with one MySpace post, and grudges in comedy.
