En 2013, el salsero dominicano Alex Matos lanzó su álbum “El salsero de ahora” en el que destaca su canción “Si entendieras”. Pero 35 años atrás, en 1978, el niño Darío Javier, ya conquistaba con su tierna voz infantil los primeros lugares de las listas de su natal Ecuador con su versión de “Si entendieras” en ritmo de balada”. Un año más tarde, la cantante colombiana Karool grabó en 1979 su propia versión de “Si entendieras”. Así la escuché yo… Las anteriores interpretaciones son en realidad nuevas versiones de la canción que compusiera Jorge Córdoba bajo el título “Si entendieras” y que grabara originalmente en 1974, el famoso cantante dominicano Anthony Ríos.
