In honour of BENCHMARK FITNESS' 7th anniversary, I am re-sharing one of my favourite episodes to date, where Matt and I share how we turned our dream of owning a gym into the thriving community that is Benchmark Fitness. We talk about the challenges we faced, like buying the gym just before the pandemic and navigating lockdowns, to how our passion for creating a space where people feel seen and supported kept us moving forward. We reflect on how having a clear vision helped us push through the toughest times. From rebranding the gym to creating a holistic wellness club with options like red light therapy, cold plunges, and member socials, every decision was made to better serve our community. We also share the sacrifices and strategic investments it took to turn our vision into reality, and why building genuine relationships was at the heart of it all.Tune in to hear more about:How having a clear vision can guide you through even the toughest challenges. The importance of investing in your community and creating a space where people feel truly connected. Why resilience and the ability to pivot are crucial for any business owner. The impact of reimagining what a gym could be by integrating wellness, recovery, and community events. How making sacrifices and strategic investments can accelerate growth. If you've got a dream that feels out of reach, I hope this inspires you to keep going! If you felt encouraged by this episode, it would mean the world to me if you could share this with a friend and leave a review or rating! You've heard the ClickFunnels story from Russell's side. This is the other side. Todd Dickerson is the co-founder who built ClickFunnels. He's been behind the scenes for years. This is one of the few times he's sat down to tell his story directly. In this episode, Todd and his wife Ashley sit down together for the first time on ClickFunnels Radio. They talk about what it actually took to build this company, from the early days of working for free, to the moment the database disappeared and Todd spent eight hours trying to bring it back while Russell was in London, to what it means to stay bootstrapped when private equity came knocking. Ashley also opens up about what it was like to support Todd through those early years, broke, with a young daughter at home, and a husband who believed so strongly in what he was building that she chose to believe in it too. Here is what they cover: The decision to work for equity instead of a salary, and what that actually looked like day to day The database crisis that took the platform down and what Todd learned from it Why they said no to outside investment and what drove that decision Ashley's perspective on being the spouse of an entrepreneur and what she'd tell anyone in that seat What both of them think is coming next Work in silence. Let your success be the noise. That's how the Dickersons have always operated. This episode is a rare look at what that silence was protecting. I'm back with my favourite co-host Matt in the studio, but this time it's our new home! In this episode of Inspire + Move, Matt and I are sitting down together for the first time in a while to talk about something we've been moving through behind the scenes: big life transitions. After over a decade in our previous home we made the decision to move, and while this change created space for possibility and expansion, it also came with moments of grief, shedding, and deep reflection. We're opening up about the emotions, the growth, and the lessons that come with closing one chapter and stepping into the next.Tune in to hear more about: • Navigating transitions and who you really become when life changes • Grieving what you're leaving while staying excited for what's ahead • Releasing identities and roles that no longer serve the version of you you're becoming • Letting go of “stuff” physically, emotionally, and energetically, to create space for more • How to check in with what you're making room for in 2026Whether you're in the middle of a big change or simply feeling the nudge to start something new, let this episode be a powerful reminder that growth often starts with letting go. We'd love to know what transitions you're moving through! DM us @AlliArruda or @Matt_Arruda and let's keep the conversation going!Want to Make More Money in 2026? Today on Inspire + Move, I'm recording straight from my closet (seriously!) as I navigate a very real season of transition. Inspired by a vulnerable question from one of our Mentor Collective Mastermind members, I'm diving deep into the often uncomfortable but necessary process of releasing past versions of ourselves to grow into who we're truly meant to be.Tune in to hear more about: • Why releasing the "old you" is one of the hardest parts of growth • The connection between our nervous systems, comfort zones, and identity • Acknowledging and honouring the roles of past versions of ourselves • Simple mindset shifts and journaling prompts to help you move forward • Creating rituals and taking aligned action toward your future selfThere's no need to rush the process. These in-between seasons are stretching us for a reason! I'm right here walking through it with you, and I hope this episode gives you the nudge to let go with love, step forward with intention, and celebrate the next version of you. This episode is a special one for me, and frankly, one I never thought I would be recording, because this marks my fifth anniversary of this podcast, Only Girl on the Jobsite, which just is surreal, shocking, overwhelming, and humbling, all mixed in together. To mark the occasion, I invited my 3 design school besties, my design school friends, the girls, who have walked this path alongside me in different ways; they have been my support system, and my community. And that community started way back when, in 1992, when I started at the New York School of Interior Design. And I met three of the most incredible, dynamic, magical people. Whether you're just starting out or years into your design career, this candid discussion will remind you that your journey is unique, your evolution is valuable, and community makes all the difference. Tune in for real insights, shared wisdom, and a celebration of how far we've all come. Mentioned in this episode: In honor of celebrating our 5-year anniversary here on Only Girl On The Jobsite, if you rate and review this podcast on any platform you are listening to, screenshot your review and email it to me at hello@devignierdesign.com and I will send you a link to schedule a call with me. Councillor Malik Sajjad of Gosnells, Western Australia, said that before the election, he had concerns that local voters might not accept him. Being in a new country, a new city, and coming from a different background, he was unsure whether people would trust him. However, Australia's multicultural society not only welcomed him but also gave him far more votes, support, and encouragement than expected—an encouragement that gave his efforts a whole new momentum. People chose him as their representative, transcending colour, race, and background. This success proves that in Australia, the true foundations are capability, intention, and a spirit of service. He further stated that this victory is not just an individual achievement, it is a community triumph. This trust, unity, and the essence of multicultural Australia serve as a shining example, showing that anyone, regardless of their background, can move forward and make new history through hard work.
