Dziś zapraszamy do posłuchania naszej rozmowy o filmowych ramotkach, kinowych nowościach i streamingowych rarytasach, wśród których znalazły się między innymi filmy „Powrót zywych trupów 2” („Return of the Living Dead: Part II”, 1988, Amazon Prime), „Szkoła rocka” („The School of Rock”, 2003, Netflix), „Promising Young Woman” (2020, kino), „Godzilla vs Kong” (2021, kino/Amazon Prime), „The White Tiger” (2021, Netflix), „Truposze nie umierają” („The Dead Don't Die”, 2019, Netflix/Amazon Prime), „Father” (2021, kino), „Pasażer nr 4” („Stowaway”, 2021, Netflix), „Jeden gniewny człowiek” (” Wrath of Man”, 2021, kino), ” Zombieland: Kulki w łeb” („Zombieland: Double Tap, 2019, Amazon Prime) oraz pierwszy sezon serialu „Cień i kość” („Shadow and Bone”, 2021, Netflix).Zapraszamy i życzymy miłego odsłuchu!

So I finally made around to this zombie filled piece of nostalgia... By nostalgia, I mean that this was one of my favorite zombie movies as a kid. Not to be taken seriously at all, this sequel pretty much knows exactly what it is and doesn't try to fake that. It takes the horror/humor balanced template of the original and fully tips the scale to an almost slapstick version. Which I still get a kick out of to this day. Enjoy, people.

Join Eric and Price as they tackle the misbegotten second film in the ROTLD franchise! There's a chintzy all-synth score, innumerable pointless changes of location, a moonwalking Thriller zombie, and a sassy southern talking zombie head that just won't quit. Why oh why won't it quit? Then the guys wrap things up with the first installment of "Staff Picks" where they put on their video store name tags and recommend some superior alternatives to rent. So fire it up and take a listen, and while you're at it, get that damn screwdriver OUT OF MY HEAD! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/killstreakpod/message
Undead. They’re all the same. They’re pushy and whiny and they're all only after ONE thing… Or at least that’s the case with this week’s movies: 2001’s Kairo (Pulse) and 1985’s Return of the Living Dead! Coming in late due to a brief bout with morbidity, host Blake takes us on a roller coaster of emotions, from depressive dread to freewheeling terror, as we compare two movies about two groups of young adults coming to terms with death, life, and everything in between. In our ongoing series "Films That Really Shouldn't Have Had Sequels," we head to the graveyard with a cast of very familiar faces saying very familiar lines which were definitely funnier the first time around. That's right, we're talking Return of the Living Dead Part II from 1988! If you're looking for the charm and entertainment value of the original ROTLD, you won't find it here, only the mouldering corpse of it, stammering out terrible lines in weird souther aw-heck accents for no apparent reason. We're all the worse for having suffered through this one, so share our pain (the pain of being dead!) on this week's episode of Horror Movie Night!

It's the much ballyhooed, long-awaited Celebrity Co-host Spectacular #1 featuring the illimitable horror-comedy maestro of fiction, Jeff Strand. First Desmond and Jeff (or Jeff and Desmond, as Jeff would have it) talk a little bit about Jeff's upcoming releases, Dweller and Kutter, then they dive into a review of Return of the Living Dead Part II. Does the 80s horror comedy sequel live up to the original? Does it hold up today? Is it even watchable? Not really. Then the two sit back for an extended Q&A with Dread Media listeners and Jeff Strand fans alike in this history-making episode of your favorite horror podcast. There's writing advice, serious literary discussion, and tons of laughs to be had. Except cheese. We don't make any jokes about cheese. Jeff's selected playlist for this episode is as follows: "Dweller" by Trevor Strong, "Cruel, Cruel Moon" by Paul and Storm, "Rippy the Gator" by the Arrogant Worms, and "Creepy Doll" by Jonathan Coulton.
