What if your next business idea wasn't about making millions—but helping just one person? In this episode, Tom Livingston, CEO of Rampart IC, shares how a late-night phone call from a friend sparked the idea for a life-saving medical device—and how that simple act of service grew into a globally distributed, 8-figure company. From sketching concepts on a napkin to testing a prototype during a secret cabin weekend, Tom's journey is a masterclass in purpose-driven leadership, calculated risk, and building something that truly matters.Whether you're burning the midnight oil on your own big idea or still in the dreaming phase, this conversation is for you. Tom opens up about building the company while working full time, the coffee table pact that changed everything, and the power of building a team rooted in belief, not just ambition. This is a story of faith, uncertainty, and the quiet courage it takes to bet on what doesn't exist—yet.WILDFLOWER SHOWNOTES : shannaskidmore.com/tom-livingston-rampart-ic
In this episode of the Weekly Wrap-Up, Olivia and Jenny reflect on their week, sharing personal updates, business insights, and reflections on growth and resilience. They kick off the episode by talking about the importance of having an agenda and how the weather can shape their productivity and mood. Jenny shares the experience of buying their first coffee table for their apartment, navigating the quirks of furnished UK apartments, and the satisfaction of finding sustainable, used furniture. This sparks a broader conversation about the joys of home furnishings and the unexpected challenges of home maintenance, especially when dealing with landlords and inherited items from previous tenants.Olivia discusses her newfound love for her walking pad, highlighting how walking has become a lifestyle change that significantly improves her productivity and mental health. They both reflect on how walking has become a key part of their daily routines, boosting not only their physical health but also their creative energy during long workdays. They touch on the idea of small wins, like finding the perfect pair of jeans after years of searching, and how these moments signify personal growth and confidence. The conversation takes a serious turn as they address the issue of content theft and plagiarism, highlighting Olivia's recent experience with a man stealing her words on social media. They emphasize the importance of protecting one's work and the unsettling responses Olivia received when addressing the issue. This sparks a discussion on kindness in digital spaces, the importance of empathy, and how being mean online accomplishes nothing positive. They also discuss the significance of healthcare proxies, especially for young adults and college students, sparked by their recent conversation with Shawnee Baker about her daughter Baylie Grogan. This leads to plans for Fresh Starts to host a series of workshops focused on organizing crucial documents like healthcare proxies, wills, and financial plans.Olivia and Jenny celebrate the launch of the Divorce Education Library on Fresh Starts Registry, a comprehensive, searchable resource filled with 50+ commonly asked questions about divorce. They express their commitment to providing free, accessible divorce education and outline plans for its continued expansion. They wrap up with reflections on growth, the importance of community support, and the joy of finding just the right things—whether it's a piece of furniture or a comfortable pair of jeans. They also tease the launch of How Does She Do It All?, their new podcast celebrating single and solo motherhood, which will drop its first four episodes this weekend.
We're back in the saddle and it's getting real uncomfy this week as Skeptik tells us about Caya Casas' 2022 pitch black comedy, The Coffee Table. Utterly fascinating in its execution, this film will surely test your limits and (more than likely) cause anxiety levels to spike in any parents viewing it.TW: infanticide, suicide, uncomfortable dialogue coming from a 13 year oldBe sure to sub to our Youtube channel for video episodes!https://www.youtube.com/@thedevilsworkpodcastWatch PsydeShow on Twitch: twitch.tv/psydeshowJoin the discussion on Facebook (The Devil's Work Podcast) and Instagram/TikTok @thedevilsworkpod Email us your own reviews about the films or your thoughts on episodes at: thedevilsworkpodcast@gmail.com

Let Spirit Speak - A Spiritual and Mediumship Podcast with Alan John Holmes
Dear Friends, In this episode I discuss three premonitions regarding President Trump one from 2016 given to me in a clairaudient experience, and two others given in dream state. Agree to disagree, but all I can say is that so far these premonitions have been accurate. I was not a Trump fan shall we say but it seems that through these premonitions it is clear he is suppose to be in his position. "If the premonitions turn out to be wrong then I will have to apologise. But let us wait and see what happens.

Dear Friends, as we are travellers on this spiritual journey I ask that when you listen to this podcast that you keep an open mind as to remember that I was not in agreement with these premonitions in terms of their ideology, all I know is that they are, for the moment correct. TRUTH IS NOT ALWAYS WHAT WE WANT TO SEE OR KNOW OR HOW WE THINK IT SHOULD BE. My next Podcast will be to do with a private reading I gave a lady during the beginnings of the Covid 19 vaccinations. The podcast following that one will cover subjects to do with soul groups universal truths and why is it sometimes we come across a stranger and have a conversation that seems like we have known each other for ever, even though that conversation last an hour and then we never see each other again, Synchronicity. Starring David Pareja and Estefanía de los Santos, this black comedy delivers a sharp, unsettling exploration of domestic life gone awry.

What's the last unfamiliar vampire trope you encountered? Did it involve aristocratic face paint? This week, we get folksy with unique bloodsuckers in The Vourdalak (France, 2023) on Shudder and vengeful with The Sermon (United Kingdom, 2018) on Shortverse. Plus, we chat about the deep xenomorphic roots of the Metroid franchize and why you should avoid the cringey edgelord Coffee Table movie dropping on Shudder.
We watched The Coffee Table! Yes, Steven was wrong when he thought it would be about a killer coffee table. It's about a couple welcoming a new born loud crying baby into the world and they purchase a very okay coffee table from, what Zack thinks to think, a Danny Devito from Matilda looking salesman. The rest of the plot....I can't say but it's something.

The couples paired up in Martin Ritt's 1961 musical drama Paris Blues were more than just smart casting. Real life married paramours Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward play Ram and Lillian, a jazz musician and the woman he falls in love with him. And Sidney Poitier and Diahann Carroll, real life lovers at the time, play Eddie and Connie. Carroll and Poitier had carried on an extramarital affair on their previous film Porgy and Bess and continued during the making of Paris Blues. Both eventually stayed married and ended the affair after Paris Blues was completed. Dan and Vicky discuss the jazz heavy film along with lots of recently seen including Moana 2, The Coffee Table, Twisters, Blink Twice, They/Them, Kyle Mooney's Y2K and NBC series St. Denis. Hey friends! This week, we have a special episode for you. We wanted to share one of our Patreon episodes with everyone, so here is the first episode we recorded for Patreon. In this episode, I was joined by our friend Colby of Colby Does Horror to talk about one of the most stressful movies of the year, "The Coffee Table". This movie holds the distinct honor of being one of the only movies Andrew has ever refused to watch and discuss. There are two intros to this episode. Since we recorded this back in June, I wanted to give Colby a chance to talk about everything that's been happening with him since then."The Coffee Table" was directed by Caye Casas. It's about a couple with a newborn baby who decide to buy a gaudy coffee table at a furniture store, not knowing how this table will change the entire course of their lives.Watch "The Coffee Table" at: https://www.justwatch.com/us/movie/the-coffee-tableFind Colby at: Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/colby_does_horror/TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@colby_does_horrorHouse of Ghouls Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/house-of-ghouls/id1757351042 (or wherever you listen to podcasts)Feel free to send us a message! Michael Weintrob is a Rock Photographer who has blazed a new path. In addition to the standard rock photography of artist portraits and album covers, he has created the dazzling, innovative “InstrumentHead” and “InstrumentHead Revealed” coffee table sized photo books. The first contains photos of musicians with their instruments covering their head, in all kinds of interesting and exotic costumes and poses. The second one shows photos of the same artists in the same order but this time without the instruments covering their head. He has been profiled on CBS Sunday Morning.
