TRIGGER WARNING episode, child death :-/Caroline and Gretchen continue their analysis with The Dying of the Dragons: A Son for a Son Part 2. Lord Boros' clever daughter says "No balls!" to Almond Targaryen, so he definitely intentionally chomps Lucerys. In response, Daemon says "I read my bible!" and demands an eye for an eye, killing Prince Jaehaerys. Thanks George!Join our Discord! House of the Dragon has come a long way in its first season, and it's all been leading to this...the biggest civil war in sci-fi/fantasy on this side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this episode of The Cast Beyond the Wall, hosts Caleb Masters and Daniel Stull are re-joined by special returning guest host, Ben Friend, to discuss what the events of this episode and cliffhanger mean for team Rhaenyra AKA "the blacks," and the viewers. Following last week's "The Green Council," which focused on the Hightowers AKA "the greens," in King's Landing, this week's episode shifts the focus to our other lead, Rhaenyra, from her base in Dragonstone. Rhaenys delivers the troubling news of both Visery's death and also Aegon II's being crowned king in her place. With Corlys "the sea snake" Velaryon making a surprise return from the brink of death to pledge support from Rhaenyra and Daemon counting dragons, it seems the Blacks are not out of the game despite lacking loyalty from many of the key lords of the seven kingdoms. The name of the game is "war," especially after Lucerys is murdered by Aemond's dragon in a chase the bards will sing about for generations to come. Does this episode provide an adequate cliffhanger to leave us wanting more for season 2? Today's podcast topics include: Does this episode provide a satisfying close to the first season of House of the Dragon? The consequences of Aemond's actions on Houe Targaryen The crowning of Rhaenyra as queen on Dragonstone Daemon's obsession with war Do the Blacks have the support they need to wage a war? Corlys's unexpected return from the edge of death What do we expect to see next season This week's winner, loser, and wild card player According to the IMDB synopsis, “The Black Queen” is described as: "While mourning a tragic loss, Rhaenyra tries to hold the realm together, and Daemon prepares for war." Startdatum: 24. This episode was all about loss for Rhaenyra....and ALOT of it. This episode picks up right where The Green Council left off, with Rhaenys arriving on Dragonstone to deliver all the news of what has happened to Rhaenyra and Daemon. After hearing the news that she has lost her father, that grief was quickly compounded by the news that she has lost her throne too. All of this sends her into premature labor and she loses the baby as well. And as we saw later, it wasn't the end of her taking losses. The Blacks are now scrambling to build allies and they received one of the biggest with House Velaryon, led by a now woke and mending Sea Snake. And we learned from Daemon, what they don't have in manpower, they more than make up for it with firepower...and alot of it. Rhaenyra sent her sons as messengers to rally support, with Lucerys running into Aemond at Storms End. Borros Baratheon stopped them from fighting under his roof, but that didn't stop them from clashing in the sky. This most certainly ensured that peace was not an option and the dance will be deadly. Definitely can't wait for season 2 to start....Follow us on Instagram @watchdemthrones and @blackwithnochaser Subscribe to WATCH DEM THRONES by Black With No ChaserYoutube:youtu.be/LjirbJX5ldEApple Music:podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ep1…Spotify:open.spotify.com/episode/2eOsE7…Amazon Musicmusic.amazon.com/podcasts/45279…IHeartRadio: https://www.iheart.com/podcast/269-watch-dem-thrones-by-black-101286659/?cmp=android_share&sc=android_social_share&pr=false#houseofthedragon #watchdemthrones #demdragons #hotd #HouseOfTheDragonHBO #dragonsyall #DemThrones #podcast #podsincolor #blackwithnochaser #targaryen #Blacks #Greens

House of the Dragon episode 8, The Lord of the Tides, the petition for the line of succession of the throne at Driftmark bleeds into a larger battle for the coming fight for the Iron Throne looming just around the corner. Rhaenyra and Daemon plead their case for why Lucerys should remain as the chosen heir to Driftmark, while Alicent and Otto would rather see Corlys' brother Vaemond take control of the Driftwood Throne, as well as the largest navy in Westeros. Through it all, an ailing Viserys just wants to see his family united before he shuffles off this mortal coil. However, an ill-timed mention of Aegon's Song of Ice and Fire puts his wife Alicent in a position to undo the succession he has set forth for his own daughter Rhaenyra. Jessica Clemons and Brandon Barrick react to this skull-splitting episode and break down what could be coming in the Dance of Dragons. Viserys, barely ambulatory, enters the throne room and declares Lucerys the Driftmark heir. Enraged, Vaemond calls Rhaenyra's children bastards; Daemon beheads him. During a feast, the family appears to mend their differences. After Viserys leaves, Aemond incites a fight with a veiled insult against Rhaenyra's three oldest sons. Later, Viserys, near death, mutters parts of Aegon the Conqueror's dream, mistaking Alicent for Rhaenyra; Alicent believes he means their son, Aegon.

Rhaenyra and Daemon reunite and are physically intimate. Viserys fails to reconcile with Daemon. Prince Aemond claims Vhagar as his dragon, causing an altercation with his cousins and nephews in which Lucerys slashes Aemond's eye with a knife. Wanting retribution, Queen Alicent lunges at Lucerys with Viserys' Valyrian steel dagger to gouge out his eye. Rhaenyra blocks Alicent but her arm is wounded. After claims that Rhaenyra's children are bastards, Viserys decrees anyone questioning their legitimacy will be silenced. Hand of the King, Otto Hightower later tells Alicent they will prevail, while Rhaenyra and Daemon unite against Alicent and her supporters. To continue the true Valaryon lineage, Princess Rhaenys urges that Lord Corlys pass his title through their granddaughter, Baela, claiming Laenor did not sire Rhaenyra's children. Ser Qarl appears to murder Laenor, with Rhaenys and Corlys believing a charred body is their son's. Meanwhile, Daemon and Rhaenyra privately marry in the old Valyrian Dragonlord tradition to perpetuate the pure Targaryen bloodline. After faking his death, Laenor secretly flees Driftmark with Ser Qarl.

Kinder sind was schönes. Kinderkriegen widerrum ist nicht so schön, wie wir am Anfang der 6. Folge HOUSE OF THE DRAGON sehen müssen.
In this episode Ender is flying solo and bring you his breakdown and analysis of episode 6 of House of the Dragon The Princess and the Queen. Episode Summary: Ten years later, the Triarchy has reclaimed the Stepstones. Rhaenyra gives birth to her third child whom Ser Laenor names Joffrey. Queen Alicent notes the infant's hair, like his brothers Jacaerys and Lucerys, is brown rather than Targaryen silver. She presses King Viserys to acknowledge them as bastards with no claim to the throne, though he rebuffs this. Ser Criston, now loyal to Alicent, trains the princes in swordsmanship. Alicent scolds Aegon for pranking his younger brother Aemond, then says he must prepare himself to fight Rhaenyra for the throne. Prince Daemon and Lady Laena visit Essos with their daughters Baela and Rhaena, where the Prince of Pentos offers them a lordship in exchange for an alliance against the Triarchy. When pregnant Laena is unable to give birth, she commands her dragon Vhagar to burn her to death. To make peace, Rhaenyra proposes a marriage between her son Jacaerys and Princess Helaena, Alicent's daughter. Ser Lyonel Strong offers his resignation as Hand of the King over rumors that his son, Ser Harwin, fathered Rhaenyra's children. King Viserys refuses, but allows him to briefly travel to Harrenhal with Harwin, who will remain there. Ser Harwin's emotional farewell to Rhaenyra and her children implies he is their father. Alicent tells Larys Strong she wishes her father was still the king's Hand. At Harrenhal, Ser Lyonel and Harwin are killed in a fire orchestrated by Larys.
