The latest episode of The Aquest Podcast is now live, and we are diving deep into one of the most discussed topics in the funds industry: Delegation. In this season finale, my regular co-host Dáire Lawlor joins me to unpack the complexities of delegation and outsourcing. We explore the frequently asked questions that continue to surface for fund management companies, providing clarity on the nuances that define our regulatory landscape. In this episode, we tackle the critical distinctions between Delegation vs. Outsourcing and their impact on operational frameworks. We also trace The Evolution of DPs (Designated Persons), from their mid-naughties origins to their continued relevance alongside C-suite roles today. Furthermore, we provide a Regulatory Outlook, discussing key developments like CP86, AIFMD2, and the Central Bank's recent papers on efficiency and simplification, before looking ahead at Future Trends such as the role of tokenisation, the "Mind the Gap" paper, and what the first quarter of 2026 holds for the Irish funds industry. Hai mai sognato di morire? No? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
— Bello! bello! Ritornai a casa e maltrattai i miei convitati, bastonai mia moglie, feci tutti i diavoli, ruppi quanto mi veniva in mano: cantai, gridai, insomma un finimondo! Mia moglie scappò in camera e rimase là rintanata. — Velenose sì, ma inutili forse no! – rispose Coombes. Fine. Jhoan Duran is a difference maker. He showed the Phillies and Phillies fans exactly how much this weekend. He tossed a four-pitch save in Friday night's win over the Tigers. He tossed a 12-pitch save on Sunday night. He threw unhittable splinkers. He fired fastballs that touched 103.3 mph, making it the hardest pitch by any Phillies pitcher in the pitch-tracking era (since 2008). But probably ever, too.We talk about Duran's impact on the Phillies, his fun entrance from the bullpen, the Phillies' muddled outfield situation and more.Parx Casino and betPARX are the official casino and sportsbook of TPS. The Phillies entered the All-Star break with a half-game lead over the Mets in the NL East. That's good. They have an historically dominant starting rotation. That's really good. But they also have an inconsistent offense and shaky bullpen that desperately needs help before the July 31 trade deadline. We look back at the good and bad from the Phillies' first half. The Phillies salvaged a six-game road trip by winning two of three this weekend in Atlanta. They scored 13 runs on Friday, but only three runs the rest of the weekend. What can save this Phillies' offense? It should help to get Bryce Harper back in the lineup. He could return as early as Monday night's series opener against the Padres. But really this team is going to live and die with what they already have: Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, Nick Castellanos, Alec Bohm, etc. And maybe Otto Kemp. And maybe Justin Crawford. The external options to improve this lineup don't seem to be there, unless you think Jarren Duran, Taylor Ward, Cedric Mullins, Luis Robert Jr., Adolis Garcia are difference makers.Ranger Suárez is on another ridiculous run. What contract might he get in free agency? It's “Best Week” by Manco & Manco Pizza! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This past week should have reminded everybody that baseball is a long season. The Phillies followed a gruesome 1-9 stretch – a lot of people thought they were dead -- with a 5-1 homestand against the Cubs and Blue Jays. The offense came to life against two playoff-caliber teams. Brandon Marsh (1.167 OPS), Alec Bohm (1.128 OPS), Otto Kemp (.898 OPS), J.T. Realmuto (.980 OPS), Max Kepler (1.300 OPS), Trea Turner (.820 OPS), Nick Castellanos (.808 OPS) and Kyle Schwarber (.869 OPS) each had big moments against the Cubs and Blue Jays. So did the rotation, led by Zack Wheeler, Ranger Suárez, Cristopher Sánchez and Jesús Luzardo. First Pitch is powered by betPARX Sportsbook and Casino app. It's “Best Week” by Manco & Manco Pizza! Every team has bad stretches over the course of a 162-game season, but it has been six years since the Phillies have struggled like this. They have lost 9 out of 10 following Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Pirates in Pittsburgh. It's the first time they have lost 9 out of 10 since June 12-23, 2019. They have been swept in consecutive weekends. They have scored only one run in four of their last five games. The offense is struggling … big time. The bullpen is shaky. The defense is shaky. Every Phillies flaw has been exposed. So, now what? Do the Phillies call a team meeting? Promote a prospect? Make a lineup change? We discuss. Plus, how concerned should everybody be about Bryce Harper's wrist? And just for fun … what would it take for the Phillies to trade for Paul Skenes? It's “Best Week” by Manco & Manco Pizza! The Phillies had a chance to sweep the Braves last week before losing Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader.Still, the Phillies had momentum entering this weekend's series against the Brewers. But Milwaukee pummeled the Phillies, sweeping them at Citizens Bank Park for the first time since 2014. Almost everything went wrong. Sure, the Phils were without Bryce Harper, who is recovering from a HBP on his right elbow. But the pitching was bad at times, while the defense was arguably worse. The Phillies have won five consecutive series following Sunday night's 3-0 victory over Cleveland. They are 11-3 since they lost their series opener in Chicago late last month. It's the best record in baseball in that span. Kyle Schwarber is a big reason why. He hit two homers Sunday against the Guardians. He has hit 14 homers this season, which is tied with Aaron Judge for the most in baseball. He has a 46-game on-base streak. The Phillies are not only hitting, but they're pitching well and playing good defense. It's “Best Week” by Manco & Manco Pizza! The Phillies won two of three from Arizona this weekend at Citizens Bank Park. They have three consecutive series since getting swept in New York late last month. The offense is heating up. Title: Beat L.A.: Phillies win series against “unbeatable” DodgersSomebody asked J.T. Realmuto on Friday about playing the Dodgers and he joked that he heard they were “unbeatable.”Well, the Phillies handed L.A. its first two losses of the season in a series win at Citizens Bank Park.
