Mimar ve eğitimci Muhlis Türkmen (1923-2014), Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi Yüksek Mimarlık Bölümü'nü 1946 yılında bitirdi, uzun yıllar Mimar Sinan Üniversitesi İç Mimarlık Anasanat Dalı başkanlığını sürdürdü. Eğitimciliğiyle beraber çok sayıda mimari proje üretti; Lizbon'daki Türkiye Büyükelçiliği binası, İzmir Resim Heykel Müzesi, Brüksel Dünya Fuarı Türkiye Pavyonu bu projelerden bazıları. Fotoğrafçı ve fotomuhabir Ali Öz'ün (1954-) arşivinde ise 1978 yılından 2000'li yılların başlarına kadar süreçten 5000'e yakın fotoğraf bulunuyor. Öz'ün Nokta, Güneş, Tempo, Aktüel gibi dönemin pek çok yayını için çektiği, politik belgesel niteliğindeki fotoğrafları İstanbul'daki gecekondu yıkımları, Tarlabaşı Bulvarı çalışmaları, çocuk işçiler, Zonguldak'taki maden işçileri, Toroslar'daki yörük toplulukların yaşamı gibi pek çok olayı ve özneyi belgeliyor.

În Republica Moldova apar tot mai multe informații cu privire la rețeaua de votanți finanțată de Rusia. Autoritățile de la Chișinău spun că au descoperit o schemă de corupere masivă, care ar putea cuprinde un număr enorm de  alegători, între 150.000 și 300.000, suficient pentru a putea influența rezultatul votului într-o țară precum Republica Moldova. Dar poate fi acest model replicat și în alte țări, inclusiv în România? Este posibil ca și la noi, alegerile să fie influențate de o rețea finanțată de la Moscova?  O adevărată armată din umbră. Așa ar putea fi caracterizată rețeaua de influență construită de Kremlin în Republica Moldova și pe care autoritățile de la Chișinău o consideră responsabilă pentru votul foarte strâns la referendumul pro-european.Potrivit unor investigații media și ale procurorilor, această rețea este finanțată din Rusia, prin intermediul oligarhului fugar Ilan Șor, condamnat definitiv în dosarul furtului unui miliard de dolari din băncile moldovenești și refugiat acum în Rusia.Dar cum funcționează această veritabilă coloană a cincea? Dumitru Pelin este directorul portalului Nord News, din orașul Bălți. Situat în nordul țării, Bălți trece drept unul dintre bastioanele pro-rusismului din Republica Moldova.”Deci, acesta este un sat. Satul este împărțit în mahalale, de  două sau trei străzi. Fiecare are câte un influencer. Dacă îi tai capul unuia apare altul. Nu poți să-i decapitezi”, spune Dumitru Pelin.Victor Gaideec, redactor la Nord News, povestește ce s-a întâmplat în duminica referendumului și cum prezența la vot a crescut brusc pe parcursul zilei.”Dimineața erau foarte puțini oameni. Și eu chiar am transmis de dimineață că prezența era mult mai scăzută decât de obicei. Un președinte de secție îmi spunea că, de obicei, la ora 7.30 era coadă, acum erau foarte puțini. Doar 30-40 de oameni în primele două ore. Apoi, prezența s-a intensificat iar noi n-am înțeles din ce cauză. Dar când am văzut rezultatele am înțeles că intervenise factorul politic. Oamenii au primit indicația, prin rețeaua Telegram, să meargă să voteze contra. Echipa Partidului Acțiune și Solidaritate n-a lucrat bine, dar Șor a lucrat mai bine. Participarea a fost de 52%, niciodată la Bălți nu a fost atât de mare”, spune Victor Gaideec.Citeste siChișinău: Amenzi pentru fraudă electorală, fenomenul nu poate fi stopat în 2 săptămâniAm mers și în sudul Republicii Moldova, la Comrat, în Găgăuzia, unde 90% din alegători au votat negativ la referendum. Mihail Sirkeli este fondatorul și coordonatorul portalului Nokta, o publicație pro-europeană – ceva cu totul neobișnuit în această regiune puternic pro-rusă. El explică funcționarea acestei rețele și mai ales pericolul ca ea să fie replicată în statele Uniunii Europene, inclusiv în România:”Ei sunt organizați pe principiul legiunii romane, cu coordonatori de 1.000 de oameni, de 100 și de 10. Coordonatorii sunt responsabili pentru a atrage și a păstra oamenii în această rețea. Sunt instruiți cum să le vorbească și îi mențin inclusiv prin mijloace financiare”Mihail Sirkeli crede că modelul poate foarte ușor să apară și în alte părți:”Acest model poate fi replicat în întreaga Europă de Est. Aici vorbim despre un alt nivel, nu doar despre influențarea opiniilor. Și sunt convins că pot să o facă și într-o țară ca Germania. E adevărat, cu costuri mai mari. Dar... care-i problema? Aici au cheltuit echivalentul unei rachete. În România, i-ar costa zece sau o sută. În Germania, o mie. Care-i problema? Aceasta înseamnă o armată a votanților care se dezic de convingerile lor pentru 50 sau 100 de euro. Ai apăsat butonul, s-au activat. Și, credeți-mă, poate fi construită ușor și în România. La final, important este să cucerești țara prin metode nonmilitare. Este important ca fenomenul din Republica Moldova să fie monitorizat de vecinii noștri, în primul rând, România. Pentru că, vedeți, au apărut niște politicieni care în mod normal n-ar trebui să apară. EPISODE 1505: In this KEEN ON show, Andrew talks to the Istanbul based political scientist Soli Özel about President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's return to power in Turkey Soli Özel is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and a senior lecturer at Istanbul Kadir Has University. Özel was a “Europe's Futures” fellow at Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna in 2021–22. During the pandemic, he taught course at the American University in Central Asia and the Menton campus of Sciences-Po. He also hosted webinar series for Institut Montaigne on the American elections and on the changing geopolitics of the Middle East. He was a Bernstein Fellow at the Schell Center for Human Rights at Yale Law School and a visiting lecturer in Yale's political science department. Özel has been a columnist at Nokta magazine and GazetePazar, Yeni Binyıl, Habertürk, and Sabah newspapers. Currently he writes for Deutsche Welle-Turkish and Politikyol, and provides a weekly commentary on world affairs for Gazete Duvar TV. He has held fellowships at Oxford University the EU Institute of Strategic Studies, the Robert Bosch Academy in Berlin, Institut Montaigne in Paris, and the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University. Özel holds an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS-1983). Named as one of the "100 most connected men" by GQ magazine, Andrew Keen is amongst the world's best known broadcasters and commentators. In addition to presenting KEEN ON, he is the host of the long-running How To Fix Democracy show.
