Además, según el informe, el 79% de la población considera que el turismo es esencial para el crecimiento económico. El 84% de los españoles prefiere que sus viajes de negocios sean sostenibles, según revela el último informe de FREENOW. En este contexto, el uso de opciones de movilidad sostenible, como bicicletas, patinetes, motos eléctricas y coches compartidos, ha experimentado un aumento del 26% en comparación con el año anterior. La industria de reuniones y eventos profesionales de Málaga experimentó un notable crecimiento del 46%, alcanzando un total de 645 eventos en 2023. Este logro récord generó un impacto económico directo de más de 159 millones de euros en la ciudad, según el Spain Convention Bureau. Los ingresos por habitación disponible (RevPAR) en los hoteles españoles alcanzaron los 105€ al cierre del ejercicio 2023, marcando un aumento del 16,5% en comparación con 2022, de acuerdo con el Barómetro Hotelero elaborado por STR y Cushman & Wakefield. Ávoris confía en conservar la gestión de los viajes del Imserso pese a los recursos presentados por Soltour, Mundiplan y la UTE. Fuentes de Ávoris remarcan que ninguno de los tres recursos presentados tiene recorrido judicial. Creen que serán desestimados y que el programa podría retomarse en 15 días. Las pernoctaciones en alojamientos turísticos extrahoteleros españoles (apartamentos, campings, alojamientos de turismo rural y albergues) aumentaron un 5,6% en los siete primeros meses del año respecto al mismo periodo del año anterior. Además, superan en un 6,3% a las registradas en el mismo periodo de 2019, según datos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE). Predif, la Plataforma Representativa Estatal de Personas con Discapacidad Física y Orgánica, ha puesto en marcha la agencia de viajes TUR4all Travel, especializada en viajes a medida, con el objetivo de ampliar su compromiso por el turismo accesible. Del total de turistas nacionales que se tomará vacaciones esta campaña de verano 2023, un 12 por ciento de ellos lo hará a partir del 1 de septiembre, según datos del Observatorio Nacional del Turismo Emisor (ObservaTUR).
