His favorite golf course is Carnoustie, the brutally tough links between Dundee and Aberdeen, nicknamed Carnasty because of the stern test. Maybe it is the fight against nature's force, the strategical elements and the precision required, that has made it a favorite for Magnus Andersson. Or perhaps it is because it was here Magnus caddied for Mats Hallberg when Mats finished third in the Scottish Open and thereby qualified for The Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes. In this episode of the podcast Magnus tells us about the lessons he learned from caddying on tour, and how you can use them to become a better golfer. A warm Welcome to The Golfstore Podcast.

The Government says it has no intention to use the power to stop or delay the McGrail inquiry. It believes the proposed law would not affect the independence of the current inquiry, or obstruct its progress, or influence any witness. Living abroad is tough when you're a close family. The 2000s saw Kirsten's family grow and despite the regular visits between continents the loss of JC amplified the tyranny of distance. And so in 2007 Kirsten and her crew packed up and moved over to St Annes-on-Sea for a year to live and work. It was a treasured time for Milly.
In episode 6, we hear about the fall of the Iron Curtain. A huge event for the world but life in St Annes-on-Sea goes on as normal. Chris has a chance to command HMS Lancaster and there's a bravery award for Paul. JC is in for one very pleasant surprise.
With the emigration of Kirsten to Australia the frequent flyer miles piled up as Milly and JC became adept at long haul travel. Australia becomes a second home while Christopher and his family make the move back to St Annes-on-Sea. Welcome to our new listeners from South Korea and Argentina. The Introduction to this weeks episode was recorded on the beach between Fairhaven Lake and St Annes on Sea in Lancashire.Conflict - the Cause and the Cure (James 4: 1-10)Why is there conflict everywhere. What is it that causes of conflict, and more importantly what is the cure? What does the Bible say is the real cause of wars and conflict? I believe the answer to those questions lies in passage we shall be looking at in this weeks podcast [0.00-0.55] Welcome and Introduction [0.53-2.36] Call to Worship.[2.36-5.40] Worship (Be Thou My Vision)[5.40-08.35] Bible Reading (James 4: 1-10)[8.35-33.23] Message (Conflict - the Cause and the Cure).[38.23-39.53] Prayer of Application[39.53-41.52] Close and Blessing Special thanks this week to Irene Israel for the Worship.Stephen Langton for the bible readingAnd Adeline Israel for the prayer of applicationwww.livinginfaith.ukSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/livingfaitheveryday?fan_landing=true)
The introduction to this weeks episode was recorded on the beach at St Annes Pier, St Annes on the Sea, Lancashire.Salvation is in Christ alone, by faith alone. If the bible teaches us anything, it teaches it teaches us that. The Apostle Paul taught salvation by faith, Peter taught it and Jesus taught it. The bible is very clear when it tells us our good works will not be the thing that saves us and gets us into heaven. At certain points, the bible want to make this so clear it doesn't just say salvation is by faith, but it adds the caveat, “not by works”. If that the case, then why bother with doing any good deeds. There are many answers to that question in the Bible, but there is one passage above all the rest which address the whole issue of faith and works. A very well-known passage, but for many a very confusing passage, and because of that confusion it is also a controversial passage. But it is that issue that we are going to look at this time in the Living In Faith Everyday PodcastThanks this week to Adeline Israel for the bible reading.Steve Longton for the PrayerAnd Irene Christian for her version of the Worship Song "It is Well"www.livinginfaith.ukSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/livingfaitheveryday?fan_landing=true)
