RFID has been an emerging technology for many years but now with the importance of tracking items and knowing where and what condition an item is in is critical, the time for RFID is now. Anders shares several valuable new usage models for FRID technology. He shares stories of how a large retailer came into GS1 and thought their inventory systems were very good. With only 10 seconds and using RFID, Anders proved to the partner the potential amount of money the partner has lost and the incredibly short payback period for when implementing RFID technology.
