+++ PLAYLIST +++ 22:57 NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS IT FEELS von LAMBRINI GIRLS 22:50 TAXI MAN von WITCH POST 22:48 RUST von WITCH POST 22:44 SURFIN' ON A ROCKET von AIR 22:39 DEALER von DRESS KIT 22:35 MANHATTAN von DRESS KIT 22:32 THOUGHT YOU WERE THE ONE von TOMMY RICHMAN 22:29 POINT & KILL von LITTLE SIMZ FEAT. California's water rules are changing—permanently. Starting January 1, 2025, new regulations from the State Water Resources Control Board will require major water suppliers to cut water delivery significantly by 2040. This isn't just about managing water during droughts anymore—this is about building drought resilience into everyday life. Water agencies across the state will now have to develop community-specific water budgets that account for residential, commercial, and landscape use. The measures include limiting outdoor watering, encouraging water-efficient appliances, and pushing Californians to rethink how we use every drop. And here's the kicker: failure to comply could cost agencies up to $10,000 a day in fines. So what does this mean for all of us? Are these changes a burden—or an opportunity to innovate? In episode 22 of What Matters Water TV + Podcast, we have brought together a panel of experts to explore just that: Chelsea Haines, Regulatory Director with the Association of California Water Agencies, offering a statewide perspective on this massive shift. Kelly Kopp, Professor and Extension Specialist at Utah State University, who's focused on water efficiency research. William Ringland, Public Affairs and Conservation Manager at East Valley Water District, where smaller agencies are stepping up to meet big expectations. Fiona Sanchez, Director of Water Resources at Irvine Ranch Water District, who's at the forefront of implementing large-scale water solutions. Together, we'll unpack the opportunities, the challenges, and the practical steps agencies and communities must take to get this right. The stakes are high, and only time will tell if these changes deliver a sustainable water future without creating financial strain on communities.

“The newly amended water agreement between the United States and Mexico is a step in the right direction, but Texans know that promises don't water our fields, sustain our livestock, or supply our cities,” said Texas Agricultural Commissioner Sid Miller. Over the past few weeks, Miller has been in constant talks with U.S. and Mexican officials, turning up the heat on Mexico to finally make good on their commitments. On Oct. 17, he issued an executive order allowing Texas farmers and ranchers to tap directly into the Rio Grande, and sure enough, Mexico finally showed up at the table. “Texans...Article Link

The government's alternative to Three Waters has finally arrived - a sigh of relief for some councils in the red. But critics say even if some short-term savings are made, in the long term, councils will still be left with ballooning debt.
The Government believes its new water-service system will give local government the certainty they need, while also minimising costs on ratepayers around the country. Local Government Minister Simeon Brown spoke to Corin Dann.
Council-controlled organisations will soon be able to borrow more for less through the local government funding agency. They will be able to borrow five times their operating revenue, meaning major work can get underway without major rates hikes. The Buzzards Bay Coalition is experimenting with a new system, where technology is used to continuously test the water rather than volunteers testing every five days. It means fewer data gaps and less human error, but it also means volunteers are a smaller part of the process.

What was the conversation? “Wait a minute, if you're here and I am here… then who is….?” No worries fellas, JT had it covered! Time to Restump Podcast the trouncing of the Tigers!Even if it was a wounded, former beast, it was extremely satisfying putting away a side by near on ten goals. It is something we rarely, if ever do so, to bank 9% and the four points… we'll gladly take that. The Tigers might be from Tigerland but they aren't the Tigers of old and in the first half they weren't very strong or very bold. To be brutally honest, we should have put the game to bed in the first half and all got on the deadly treadlies and wound down. They got their act together in the third quarter after they had lulled us into a sleepy stupor and they threatened to make a game of it. (Maybe we were on the treadlies, metaphorically speaking) However, we're a team that can now seem to right the ship on the run and we clicked into gear and put them to the sword. We are though still leaving the door open and who knows what a better opponent may have done. How good is our predominant left foot, but right foot goal kicking, inside mid going? Hayden Young is out of control inn a good way! And when you've got a Caleb Serong going about his top-drawer business, a future captain in Andy Brayshaw and a Matt Johnson who can step inside and belong, the middle is taken care of and it enables us the absurd luxury of having a sub by the name of Fyfe!Luke Ryan is a speed reader. He's finished reading a book while others are still looking at the cover. It is as if he can precisely predict the play and put himself in the exact position he needs to be. He along with Jordan Clark would have to be All Australian favourites! They didn't give the Tiges a look in yesterday.Up the other end of the ground, there's a guy who is, in his own words, kicking snags and taking clunks. Josh Treacy has 18 snags to his name he's now in the top ten in the Coleman. Four goals neat on the weekend… that's absurd! We don't kick with that level of accuracy at Fremantle…. who does he think he is!All in all, we got the result most of us probably thought we would but the game against West Coast a couple of weeks back just sowed a little bit of doubt in our minds. But while we kicked a big score, won by a space and seemed to do it on the bit, the Tigers are genuinely wounded. So, we'll run with an appropriate Ross Lyon classic, it's never as good or as bad as it seems.Caleb Serong was surprisingly friendless in the Mi Casa property Boutique metres gained competition this week and therefore it has jackpotted again. That means there'll be $150 spend at 2 Bros Foods up for grabs this Friday night when we take on the likely Joel Hamling included, Swans. Enough waffling on here! So, join us for more waffle as we look at the game in a bit more depth and chat about everything purple. Support the Show.

Every angler has been there; on a new body of water, or going to a new body of water and feeling a bit unsure because you've never been on it, never fished it. This applies to fun fishing, going out with the kiddos, prefishing for a tournament or actually fishing a derby. The most basic and necessary question looms - How do I figure out this body of water? It could be a stream, a river, a lake and it could be any size. How do you break it down? How do you find and catch fish on it? How do you not just lay down in the fetal position and cry the first time you launch your boat on Lake of the Woods and feel lost on it's literal million plus acres of water? This episode may not be absolute gospel, but the info we share is what we do and it works for us. We've gotten accustomed to fishing new lakes, new pools on the river, new whatever and this is how we break them down. This is how we study and work to find fish as efficiently as possible. We really hope this episode can help someone, and if you have more tips and tricks, we'd love to hear em. For real.
