Listeners of Shark farmer Podcast/ agriculture farm that love the show mention:The Shark Farmer Podcast is an absolute treasure for anyone involved in agriculture. Rob, the host, has important conversations that everyone needs to hear. As a small potato farmer myself (dairy goats), I find this podcast incredibly valuable and informative. While I primarily listen to the Ringside American dairy goat podcast on Mondays, The Shark Farmer Podcast is my go-to on Tuesdays. I am grateful to Rob and Emily for providing such a wonderful resource.
One of the best aspects of The Shark Farmer Podcast is the wide variety of guests that Rob brings on. He interviews people from all areas of agriculture, from farmers using goats as pack animals to Michigan grape farmers. This diverse range of guests provides listeners with valuable insights and perspectives on different aspects of farming. I appreciate that Rob takes the time to have long conversations with these individuals, allowing them to share their stories in depth.
Another great aspect of this podcast is how much I learn from each episode. Sometimes it's big things that change the way I think about farming, and sometimes it's little things that give me new ideas or techniques to try on my own farm. The conversations are always interesting and often funny, making each episode enjoyable to listen to.
While there aren't many negatives about The Shark Farmer Podcast, one potential improvement could be tackling more difficult questions in the agricultural industry. For example, why do so many people still plow? Addressing these challenging topics would add depth and a critical perspective to the podcast.
In conclusion, The Shark Farmer Podcast is one of the best farm podcasts available. Rob does an excellent job at allowing listeners to get to know the side of his guests that they haven't heard before. With its informative episodes, entertaining anecdotes, and variety of guests from all areas of agriculture, this podcast is a must-listen for anyone involved in farming or interested in learning more about it. I highly recommend giving it a listen - you won't be disappointed.
