Even with all the rain and lack of sun, allergies exist. Most of the allergies are to the trees, grass, and the mold (from all the moisture). While they do not have the yellow bomb that we get here in the U.S., it manifests in its own hellish way. The Scotsman and the kiddos cannot tolerate trees and grass. I erroneously thought when I moved over there that my American-borne allergies would decrease - @#$% that...nope. Something that makes the allergies worse is that many have allergy-induced asthma (mostly with the damp and cold weather).
