There's an undeclared war I call “Vegan-on-Vegan War”, in which Vegans are slowing down the movement by blaming & shaming other Vegans… Animal Rights Activist Sasha Jolliffe and I had a very deep conversation on this topic. We both have observed how within and outside our own Vegan Community, a lot of blaming & shaming is happening. It's proven that a mind shuts down when being put under attack. Animals and also Humans either react to an “attack” with fight, flight or freeze. Neither of those states allow the mind to be open & receive new information. Many of us Activist, bring our own emotions into our debates and that closes down the possibility for our opposite to understand the actual reason for our Activism.
