Izraelci zažili v otroctve veľa príkoria, potupy, ponižovania, hrubého zaobchádzania, nepekných slov, a tak by sme mohli pokračovať. Hospodin im to pripomína preto, aby sa k nikomu, ani k otrokom, nesprávali rovnako hrubo a necitlivo. Sirota, vdova, otrok – aj to je tvoj blížny. Káže im neprekrúcať právo ani cudzincovi – ani pri výplate mzdy, ktorú bolo treba vyplatiť. V Matúšovom evanjeliu (v. 9,13) čítame, čo povedal Pán Ježiš: „Choďte, teda, a naučte sa, čo znamenajú slová: Milosrdenstvo chcem, a nie obeť; lebo neprišiel som volať spravodlivých, ale hriešnikov.“ Ako kresťan mám denne príležitosť prejavovať lásku, ktorú do môjho života priniesol Pán Ježiš. Mám množstvo dobrých možností prejavovať milosrdenstvo, lebo aj mne dobre padne, keď niekto prejaví súcit voči mne, alebo keď pochopí moju situáciu. Aj dnes mám skvelú šancu nekonať krivdu, nespravodlivosť. Veď aj mne zle padlo, keď mi niekto spôsobil krivdu a falošne ma obvinil. „Pamätaj!“ Čo ti to dnes pripomína? Keď v Pána Ježiša veríš, tak aj prejavuj Jeho lásku! Ži, konaj a používaj Jeho slová a spôsoby! S pomocou Pánovou sa o to usiluj aj dnes! Dit rendementsdenken staat niet op zich maar is ondertussen ook diep doorgedrongen in domeinen die nooit om winst maken draaiden. As the number of living Holocaust survivors declines, a profound question emerges: who carries these stories next – and how do we ensure they are heard, understood, and acted upon? In this episode, timed to mark Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27th, James and David are joined by Hannah Wilson, Outreach Officer at the charity Generation to Generation, alongside two G2G speakers, Vivienne Cato and and Calum Isaacs, who share their own family histories as descendants of Holocaust survivors. In my thirties I decided to trust God for a man and children. After a miscarriage, I became pregnant again with our daughter, Rachel. She was born with a chromosome abnormality trisomy 13. After her death I wrote a book about her life; Her name is Rachel. Because of everything we went through with Rachel, I knew: I want to do something for the unborn life. I founded a pro-life organization; Powerful Woman. I occasionally give presentations at HBO Midwifery programs and organize pro-life meetings for Christians to inspire them about the biblical view of the unborn.
