Ed came to Aquascape in 1993 as a construction laborer, but a little creativity and a positive outlook on life and business helped catapult Ed to the position of Vice President of Field Research and Contractor Development. For more than a decade, Ed has successfully built hundreds of custom-designed ponds from small backyard water gardens to large lakes and commercial water features. He holds a B.S. in Zoology, with an emphasis in Limnology, and concentrated his master's studies in Marine Biology.

The Tapped Foundation: Focus on preventing homelessness in veterans, working with women and minority veteran groups, working with the PCVI, suicide prevention, and heart health. Their first personally anchored charity event will be the Jack's Strokes “FORE!” Strokes golf tournament (tentatively scheduled for May 20th , 2023. They're awaiting confirmation from the golf course, which they hope to have before we record) next year. The hope is to help 1-2 different families per tournament to cover unforeseen expenses incurred after a stroke or heart attack. The tournament is named after his father, who suffered a series of 11 strokes in February (3 major, 8 minor).

Mike Stenhouse is founder and CEO for the Rhode Island Center for Freedom and Prosperity, a state-based free-enterprise public policy think tank.With an Economics degree from Harvard University, Stenhouse was also a two-time All-America baseball selection and also earned a varsity letter in basketball. He went on to have an 8-year professional baseball career, including stints as a major leaguer with the 1986 Boston Red Sox American League Championship team, with the Minnesota Twins ('85), and with the Montreal Expos ('82-'84).

Mr. Cooke is a Realtor, a Town Councilor, Executive Director of the Misquamicut Business Association, an author, a filmmaker, a talk show host, small business owner, a dj, and he's in a band.Back in 1999 when he was 25, he was privileged to ride on the “Straight Talk Express” with then presidential candidate Sen. John McCain. Caswell had asked to do an interview with my TV show and his people said yes. Mr. Cooke then sat with him and he told me that he was running for office to “inspire a younger generation of Americans to commit themselves to causes greater than their own self interest and to reform government.” And he told Caswell that if he wanted to do the same he needed to run for local office. Then in 2002 he did so, and was elected at age 28 to the Westerly Town Council. Caswell still feels the same passion today as he felt 20 years ago and he thinks our great state needs help now more than ever.

Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy, is owner and CEO of Aquascape, Inc. He has been dabbling in water gardens since the age of 12 and has a love of everything water and turtles. After experimenting with ponds for over eight years, Greg had a “light bulb” moment during a drive home from the boring summer job he took during college in 1990. Ashley Kalus, a businessperson who has never before sought political office is running for governor in Rhode Island as a Republican.She is listed as an executive with Doctors Test Centers, which landed two multimillion dollar contracts with the state to administer coronavirus vaccines and tests across the state. She and her husband moved from Illinois, buying a home in Newport last May.

Jim and his wife Meme have lived in South Kingstown, RI for the past 20 years. His daughter Sarah currently lives in Philadelphia, PA. He was raised in Bozrah, CT, a rural community in the eastern portion of the State. His father was a trash man, and his mother was the secretary of their church, a bookkeeper, and a member of the local school board. His sister Pamela is an elementary school principal in Massachusetts.Currently, he is part of a corporation of Centreville Bank, sits on the investment committee of the $23 million South Kingstown School Trust, and is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and the International City/County Management Association.
