That path is laid out in the Scripture and must be followed by submitting to the authority of the Lord. Along that path, however, are many features, trails, and particulars. This is because people are different. What affects you might be different from what affects me. What draws you, fulfills you, or aligns with your gifts might differ from me. Does this mean one of us is broken? Or that more honor is due one than the other? NO!We are all different. This does not mean some of us keep some laws and omit others to suit our preferences. No one is saying that (Don't write me up, please). But can we be honest that what feels strongest or fulfills us most may differ among people? We are all different in the body, yet we function as one body. With no shame, but with much appreciation for one another! Can you List Your Top 3? Every stable system depends upon a dominant center. Astronomers have long recognized that when multiple celestial bodies of similar mass exert comparable gravitational influence over one another, the result is instability. There is no single authority that governs the movements of the others, and the system becomes increasingly chaotic. By contrast, our own solar system displays extraordinary stability because one body is incomparably greater than all the others. The sun's overwhelming mass establishes the paths of the earth, the moon, and every planet that belongs to its system. Everything moves in relation to it.This physical reality provides a profound picture of the human condition. Every life has competing centers of gravity. We are constantly pulled by ourselves, by the expectations and pressures of the world, and by God. If these influences are treated as equals, life becomes spiritually unstable. Every decision becomes a negotiation between competing authorities. Every circumstance introduces a new center. Anxiety, confusion, and inconsistency naturally follow because nothing possesses the authority to govern everything else. The Christian faith proclaims that God has already solved this problem. The answer is not to eliminate responsibilities or withdraw from the world. Rather, the answer is to establish the proper center. The New Testament presents Jesus Christ as the One who occupies that position. Paul writes that "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together" (Colossians 1:17). Christ is not merely another influence competing for our attention. He is the Creator, Sustainer, and Lord of creation itself. The universe already revolves around Him whether humanity acknowledges Him or not. The invitation of discipleship is therefore not simply to believe in Jesus, but to reorder our lives around the One who already governs reality. This is why the imagery of the sun becomes so meaningful. The sun does not merely exist within the solar system; it defines the solar system. Its gravity establishes order. Its light reveals reality. Its warmth makes life possible. Remove the sun, and everything descends into darkness, coldness, and eventual destruction. Likewise, remove Christ from the center of human existence, and people are left attempting to construct meaning, morality, and purpose from sources incapable of sustaining them. The slides' first assertion—"He is the Great Power Bringing Order to this World"—captures this truth. Christ does not simply improve life; He establishes the very framework in which life flourishes. The second statement naturally follows: "You Must Move Entirely in Relation to Him." The earth does not occasionally consult the sun before choosing its orbit. Every aspect of its movement is defined by its relationship to the greater body. Likewise, discipleship is not about adding Jesus to an already full life. It is about allowing every decision, ambition, relationship, and value to find its meaning through Him. Scripture repeatedly emphasizes this reality. Jesus calls His followers to deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Him. Paul describes Christians as those who no longer live for themselves but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. Christ is not simply first among many priorities; He is the center from which every other priority receives its proper place. The final statement moves beyond order to mission: "The World Receives His Light from You." This image intentionally shifts from astronomy to theology. The moon possesses no light of its own. Every ray that reaches the earth originates from the sun. The moon simply reflects what it has first received. Scripture describes believers in remarkably similar language. Jesus declared, "I am the Light of the world" (John 8:12), yet He also told His disciples, "You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14). These statements are not contradictory because Christian light is derivative rather than independent. Believers do not generate truth, righteousness, or life from themselves. They receive the life of Christ and reflect His character into a dark world. This understanding guards against two opposite errors. On the one hand, it prevents self-exaltation. The moon never mistakes itself for the sun. Christians are not called to become the source of salvation, wisdom, or hope. Every good thing they possess has been received from Christ. On the other hand, it also guards against passivity. Although the moon produces no light, it still fills the night sky with remarkable brilliance because it faithfully reflects the light it receives. Likewise, Christ has chosen to make His people the visible expression of His presence until His return. Through their words, their holiness, their compassion, and their proclamation of the gospel, the world encounters the light of Christ. The progression of these images therefore, tells a complete theological story. First, Christ occupies the center because only His greatness can establish lasting order. Second, humanity discovers stability only by orienting every aspect of life entirely around Him. Finally, those who remain in His light become instruments through which that same light reaches the world. The Christian life is not fundamentally about self-improvement or moral achievement. It is about proper orientation. When the Son becomes the Sun, everything else finally finds its rightful orbit, and the light that has transformed us naturally shines into the darkness around us. In that sense, the goal of discipleship is beautifully simple: remain facing the Sun, and the world will see His light reflected through you.

And while we do note his good deeds in the middle, Jonah's story is usually told in a negative light. Jonah's sin drives the story, and it ends with his wrong attitude. I have far too frequently been highly critical of Jonah, and really, it was self-projection.I've struggled for many years with believing I lived in the grace of God. I, like Jonah, just mess up too badly and too much. But there is grace in this story. And Jonah's relationship with God, while tested by sin, was not broken by it. And neither is yours, nor mine, if we live by faith - even with our sins. Can I invite you to have more mercy on Jonah? And more crucially, on yourself. God has. And God is not, nor has, given up on you. Don't give up on yourself. He has done so much in Christ and with the Spirit to secure your salvation!

The Science of Flipping | Become a real estate investor | Real Estate Investing like Robert Kiyosaki
In this episode, I sat down with 10-year mortgage industry veteran Sal Rizzolo, Branch Manager at New American Funding, to unpack what's really happening on the front lines of lending right now. We talked about how AI is rapidly automating cookie-cutter loans — and how companies like Freedom Mortgage and Better Mortgage are already racing to cut human loan officers out of the equation. But instead of treating that as a death sentence, Sal breaks down exactly how he and his team are future-proofing themselves by mastering the 203K renovation loan — an FHA product that lets buyers purchase and renovate a home simultaneously with as little as 3.5% down. We dove deep into how this product creates supply in markets starved for inventory, how realtors can use it to close deals they would have otherwise lost, how homeowners can renovate without selling their low-rate mortgage, and why the most complex, human-intensive deals will always need a skilled loan officer who knows what no AI ever will. Sal Rizzolo Sal Rizzolo is a Branch Manager and Senior Loan Officer at New American Funding, based in Long Island, New York, with a growing presence in Florida. With over 10 years in the mortgage industry, Sal got his start after leaving a career as a hairdresser and was mentored by industry veteran Frank, who introduced him to the business and shaped his client-first philosophy. Over the past decade, Sal has built a reputation as one of the go-to specialists in renovation lending — particularly FHA 203K loans — becoming a pioneer of what he calls "ending renovation discrimination" in real estate markets. He operates across nearly all 50 states and is known for working with complex borrower profiles that other lenders pass on: lower credit scores, higher debt-to-income ratios, and buyers with limited down payments. But it can be overly so, to the discomfort of others. And the introvert in them will not have healthy private contemplation time.Introverts prefer solitude and reflection, think more before speaking, and prefer smaller circles of friends. This can be good, but it can also lead to an inability to be social and share the Gospel. And the extravert within them will be unleashed in unhealthy, random ways. Sensing vs. IntuitionSensing people like focusing on concrete ideas, facts and details. They deal with present realities and notice specifics. But too much of this can lead to missing the forest for the trees, and their intuitive side will seize on odd, abstract ideas.Intuitive people are open to possibilities, focus on meaning or the future, are imaginative, and make connections. They have a feeling side, but it may stay suppressed and leak out in harmful or sinful ways.Feelers love people and love deeply. They feel for others and enjoy helping and entering into trouble to uplift. But they can do so without thinking and cause damage. Also, their brains want to reason, but because they are not explored, they are incapable of reaching foolish, illogical conclusions.Judging vs. PerceivingJudgers can be good. They like plans and closure, decisiveness and firm lines. But they lack adaptability, and often the ability to admit when they are wrong or don't know something. They have a perceptive, exploratory side, but if it is undisciplined, they may become unsure in biased or unsound situations. Perceivers are open and adaptable. They admit when they don't know things, nor do they think all things are black and white. This is good, until it prevents them from seeing clearly drawn lines and conclusions that need to be reached. They have a judgment side, but it isn't trained, and they randomly pass odd and cruel judgments out of nowhere.

Worship God faithfully on Sunday and every day. EVERYTHING in my life answers to this mission. Including Marriage. Adam was given work to do, then a HELPER to accomplish the mission, not to distract from it or as a reprieve or separate life. If we, even in part, live according to the world, then we are susceptible to the doubt and fear within it. Without full, complete, wholehearted commitment to Christ, any joy we build will be temporary, shallow, and within the confines of our own power. But God offers so much more! In Christ, entirely in Christ, there is eternal, deep, and founded in the power of the almighty God! How do we get there? Here are some things that can help.1) Pray for God's Help - and Believe He Will Provide It. 2) Identify your Mission - Why God Saved You. 3) Build your life around Time With God.4) Remove what Dulls your Spiritual Appetite.5) Tie Every Role in Your Life to Your Mission.6) Surround Yourself with People who are ALL IN.

Not just one day, but today. We are seated with Him in a place of protection, help, and assurance. He is with us always, even right now, and with Him comes omnipotence and glory. We are saved, secured, and safe.It is only from this seat that we can truly walk. And I don't mean just get up and start walking. I mean that what is true spiritually remains true: you are seated with Christ, even as you walk. The walk reflects the relationship. It is not an effort to validate what Christ did or to pay Him back. It is not a debt owed. It is a life of hope in Him.The devil will attack. He will try to ruin our confidence. But he is a loser. He has lost. We are on Mount Zion; he is in the valley of despair. We have the high ground in Jesus Christ, and the power of Christ to hold that ground.Sequence is crucial. You cannot stand if you are not seated, nor walk. Begin with Christ, pray about what is true, find joy in who you are in Him and who He is for you. And walk with life and stand with strength—His strength.

Here are 8 things Romans 8 teaches that the Holy Spirit is doing. You do not have to explain them. But you must BELIEVE. Have you thought about what God is planning for the upcoming stages of life? It can be said that a person lives three lives: Birth to 30, 30-60, and 60-Death. Which of those sets are you in? The first has lots of exploring and beginning. The middle has lots of cultivating and growing. But what is God's purpose for the last? According to Scripture, God did some of His most powerful work, for Himself, and in the lives of others, in that third stage of life: Caleb, Noah, Abraham, and Moses testify to that. Are you ready to do your most impactful and helping work in this most vital stage of life?

Their passion and desire, combined with wisdom and self-control, make them a great example for young people today. For the unmarried, this will help you know if you have met the right person. For young married couples, this will help you develop the type of relationship that will flourish for decades to come. For the rest of us, there is still time! But like investing late in life, we'll need to give more each day to make a significant difference. But God has a plan for marriage, for every marriage, for your marriage, and it is good. In fact, the thrust of the chapter is a mother advising her son, who would become king. There are FIVE central teachings in this chapter concerning how to become a man of authority and integrity. Let's explore them all, with particular focus on young men of faith. We will also see how this chapter can benefit the choices of young women, as well as challenge us older folks to lead by example. The Scripture, in my view, opposes his opening remarks. But the fascinating thing is how he comes back around to personal choices to live with love, humility, obedience, and perseverance. This can be a good starting place when talking with Calvinist friends.MacArthur: If I could lose my salvation?I would.Right? If I could, I would, because I don't have the power to hold it.How can we have assurance that we are saved?Well, you can eliminate one thing for certain that can take your assurance, and that is the idea that you could lose your salvation. That's a lot.Salvation is forever.Salvation is eternal. There's nothing that can separate you from the love of Christ.Jesus said in John 6, the gift of you will come to me, and I will lose none of them, but raise them at the last day.Salvation is forever. So if you are saved, it's forever. That faith cannot fail because that faith is not your faith, that's a gift of God who's given it to you if hes to .So you eliminate that if you get your theology, right, that salvation is forever. So all you want to know is, is my salvation forever. And here's how you know.I think there are three tests and then a forthcoming.Test number one is, what do you love? What do you love?If any man is in Christ, he's a new creation, old things pass away, new things come. What are these new things?I like to think of them as new affections. So the first mark of a believer. It's not perfect, but it's evident love. What do you love? You love the Lord? You love His Word. You, you don't love him like you should, and he used to be increased. You don't love the word like you should, but you love those things. You love the people of God.You want to be with his people, you want to be in the church, you want to be a part of the worshiping group. So, love is the first evidence of a transformed heart. The second one is humility. There's a sense in which you are aware of your sinfulness, and you never really get over this incredible grace that's been given to you to save you.The third one is obedience. It's not perfect obedience, but it's a longing in your heart to obey the Lord. You do acknowledge him as Lord.Do you want to obey.So love, humility, and obedience. And then the fourth thing is this, it's trials, it's what can your faith survive? You know, people who say, well, I believe in the Lord, and something goes wrong in their life, and they walk out.Well, that's not a saving faith. That's not a faith that's a gift from God , because that lasts.
