    2024 Wrap Up & A Big Announcement

As I sit here, reflecting on seven incredible years in business and this milestone 80th episode of Life and Business in Flow, I can feel the gentle stirring of change coming. It's funny how sometimes the biggest shifts come not from pushing harder, but from finally giving ourselves permission to listen to that quiet voice within.   Fresh from beautiful Bali, I've found clarity about my path forward. This year has brought some amazing experiences from a speaking event in Sydney, magazine features, holding space for women at my Spring retreat, being a guest on other podcasts, and connecting with incredible women who, just like me, are seeking a more intentional way of being in this world.   As we step into 2025, I'm embracing an exciting evolution in how I serve and support women, one that honours a life that truly flows and brings women back home to themselves. Before we wrap up this year though, I have a heartfelt announcement to share - something that I've been sitting with for some time now.   This episode is a reminder to be open to change and to the beauty of allowing ourselves to evolve as needed.   ___   Other episodes I think you'll love!

Why Authenticity in Business Matters Now More Than Ever

Ever notice how everyone's Instagram feed and their stories are starting to look and sound exactly the same? Scrolling through social media these days, it's hard to tell businesses apart - same poses, same filters, same carefully curated perfection.   Why does authenticity in business matter now more than ever? Because we've forgotten something vital - our own stories are what truly connect us with others. It's not about being perfect or copying what works for someone else. It's about being real.   I love seeing women let go of all the "shoulds" and find their own way. Moving past the exhaustion of comparison and the pressure to fit someone else's mould. Instead, building a business that feels true to who they are.   Your journey and experiences aren't just interesting - they're exactly what makes your business unique. When you share authentically, you naturally draw in people who resonate with you. You don't need to post every day or look perfect online. Your business will thrive most when it reflects who you really are, not who you think you should be.   Your path and story might look different, and that's exactly as it should be.   ___   Other episodes I think you'll love!

The deepest transformations happen when we finally give ourselves permission to pause. In a world where being constantly "on" has become our default, where exhaustion runs deep and that feeling of being needed by everyone leaves us depleted, we've forgotten what it means to truly rest.   At my recent women's retreat, I witnessed something magical - eight incredible women found their way back to themselves. In that sacred space, layers of armour fell away, masculine energy softened, and each woman rediscovered what it meant to simply breathe and be.   They arrived carrying their worlds on their shoulders - juggling client work, family demands, and endless to-do lists - but left with something precious: the knowing of what it means to live life on their own terms.   This episode is your gentle reminder that healing doesn't need to wait for 'someday'. Whether through embracing a low-tox lifestyle, setting clear boundaries, exploring kinesiology, or seeking support - your permission slip to begin isn't in the future. It's right here, right now.   And for those feeling the call to join me on my next retreat, I'm excited to share that the 2025 waitlist is now open. It's exciting at first - until your business grows, your team expands, and suddenly you find yourself in uncharted territory. You're not alone. This is a turning point for so many business owners and a challenge that we keep seeing time and time again.   Leadership isn't just about setting targets - it's about rolling up your sleeves and getting in the trenches with your team, inspiring and guiding them in a way that makes everyone feel seen and valued because this is where real growth happens for them, for you and your business.   Today, my husband Adrian Addamo is back on the podcast and in this episode, I wanted to talk with Adrian about the challenges that he's currently seeing in business, and how we can all improve in those areas.   We also chat about leading a team with clarity and intention, finding the right people to hire, building a culture of enthusiasm, facing hard truths about toxic behaviours in the workplace and keeping motivation alive.   Adrian's got a unique take on what leadership really means, thanks to his 20+ years in the automotive world to pivoting into the world of coaching, while blending mindset, mindfulness, nutrition and fitness into his approach. We often underestimate the impact that our home environment and lifestyle have on our business. When your home is chaotic, your mind is cluttered, and that spills into everything else.   Many of us are trying to juggle so much - business, family, schedules and health. Without a strong foundation, it can all start to crumble leaving you feeling completely overwhelmed and possibly even resentful towards your business because of it.   Over the years, I've learned that having an organised life isn't just about tidying up or making sure the laundry is done. It's about creating a foundation that supports your business, your health, and your peace of mind.   In this episode, we're talking about implementing strong foundations - like setting boundaries, organising your space, and simplifying routines so that YOU can create a life and business that flows together.   It's these small but intentional routines that allow you to show up as your best self, both at home and in your business, and bring more peace into your life, and your overall sense of well-being.   Other episodes I think you'll love! #53 - The Invisible Work #12 - Putting yourself first in your business   Ways that you can connect with me Check out my website Connect on Instagram @lifeandbusinessinflow Join my monthly newsletter   How I can support you Flourish - Signature 1:1 mentoring for women In Flow to Grow - Cashflow planner for clarity with your finances Nurture: The Retreat - Reconnect to the woman behind the brand   Share the love

Creating a course and products for passive income might not be the answer you're looking for.   Passive income and “making money while you sleep” are sold to us everywhere online as the ultimate goal in your business and something we should aim for.   It's become a bit of a fad - if you don't have one, it's easy to feel like you're falling behind.   I'm here to tell you that it's not the magic solution, it can actually do more harm than good, and there are other steps you can take in your business before giving into the course creation hype.   Creating a truly impactful, purpose-driven course takes time and money.   One major challenge is the trade-off: time spent developing a course can take you away from the core of your business, affecting your clients, and revenue, and leading to burnout and frustration.   While creating a course can be a smart move for some businesses, the key is in ensuring your processes and systems are set up to support you, and that you're doing it because YOU want to, rather than because you feel like you have to.   If you're thinking about creating a course purely for passive income, this episode will help you to question that thought process and decide if it's really something that you need in your business.   __________   I'd love to connect with you and support you

Business doesn't have to be hard.   Sure, there are highs, lows and times when you need to invest more effort, but with the right systems and processes in place from the start, you can create a more peaceful, sustainable business.   Many women find themselves stuck in a cycle of hard, avoiding what could truly help them, and getting caught in the endless noise of online “shoulds”.   This leads to saying yes to everything, neglecting boundaries, and hesitation in making necessary changes. Instead, they procrastinate, overthink, and chase quick fixes or small wins, rather than doing the foundational work to set things up properly from the get-go.   Correcting those band-aid fixes costs you more time and energy in the long run.   In today's episode, I'm sharing the root problems and patterns I'm seeing, and the biggest challenges holding women back in business.   I want women to value and care about themselves enough to make these changes now because they deserve a better, more fulfilling life and business.   __________   I'd love to connect with you and support you

Knowing where you're at with your finances and having solid foundations for your business (and life) is so so important.    I have supported a lot of women over the years as a mentor and seen a lot of challenges in creative, design and service-based businesses and lately, there seems to be this really big focus and push to find more clients…   “How to bring more clients to my business in 5 easy steps”. “Do this to make 6 figures in your business”.   Etc etc.. these are basic examples I see a lot more that are speaking to the wrong thing in business right now.   What I'm not seeing or hearing as much is a focus on working on their businesses by building solid foundations, and having an in-depth understanding of their finances which is really the thing that's going to make or break a business.    It's a really interesting time for our economy so I absolutely understand this mindset and concern. And sure, as a business you've got to make money.    But do you actually need more clients and add to an already full schedule, or are you falling into the trap of the “shoulds” out of fear and a lack of understanding of where you're really at with your finances?    And if you do bring more clients in, do you have the systems in place to make the onboarding process automated and seamless? Because it's true, time is money.    In today's episode, I will share with you the 4 things that are having the biggest impact on cash flow and sales right now, and what you can do to turn that around.    __________   As we approach EOFY, this episode couldn't be more important. It breaks my heart just how many women in creative business are feeling so alone right now, who aren't reaching their potential, and who lack the finances and freedom to create a business and life they want to live.   Business isn't something to go alone. And without the right support of someone who understands how to run a creative business and all its intricacies – you're left feeling stuck, stagnant and in a vicious cycle.   So, what do we do in this situation? We play small, we keep our heads down, we don't confront what needs work in our business, and we keep going down the same path of resistance sacrificing our health, and our happiness, just to be a slave to our computer screens for the sake of being “busy” and pushing through.   All it takes is someone on the outside who understands and can see a clearer picture through a different lens of what is truly possible for you and what you need to do in order to get where you want to go.   And more than likely, that person isn't going to be your husband, your partner, your best friend, or a business connection you made online.   That person is going to be a mentor. Someone who can see your potential, someone who understands the ins and outs, the highs and lows, and the day-to-day tasks required to run, grow and create a sustainable creative business.   And if this resonates with you, then today's episode will give you the gentle nudge you need to make that decision for yourself and move you in the direction you need to go.   Today, I share with you the story of two very remarkable women that I mentor. Life has an interesting way of teaching us important lessons.   Whether through grief, heartbreak, sadness, or losing someone or something close to your heart, life sure knows how to help us use that experience and learn from it to better ourselves.   When I lost my Mum to cancer, I learned a lot. I learned about who I am, what I'm here to do, and how I can take better care of not just myself but those around me too.   I shared conversations with her that I'd never shared before in all my life, and after her passing, I reflected on those conversations and just how profound they were.   Today's episode was a hard one to record and my most vulnerable episode yet but it's something that I know is so important to share with you.   I am here to bring women together, have those deeper conversations, and no longer live life on autopilot while putting our health on the back burner.   Life is precious and if there is anything I've taken away from those conversations with Mum, it is to just start. I had learned that working hard and sitting in my masculine was just a way of life.   I was taught by society that those who go hard and are in a constant state of busy are worthy of celebration as if it's some badge of honour and what is defined as “success”.   For me, this resulted in extreme burnout.   Since then, I've been on a journey of self-discovery and learning more about what it really means to embrace your femininity, and in turn, balance both masculine and feminine energies in both my business and my life.   Join me in today's episode as I take you behind the scenes of my life and the unexpected shifts that happened when I stepped more into my feminine flow.   It's a beautiful dance and one I can't wait to share with you.   Ready to create a sustainable life and business? I've noticed two different themes lately with the women and creatives that I work with. They are feeling the pull to either grow their business by expanding, rebranding, hiring, purchasing new equipment, investing, or renting office or warehouse space. Or slow down within their business by taking a step back, refining business foundations, focusing on family, well-being, and simplicity.   Over the past six years, I've personally experienced the ebb and flow, the moments of pushing forward and pulling back, focusing on the front-end or the back end of business, and being in creative mode vs. going with the flow. This resonates with the women and creatives I work with, sparking conversations on whether it's time to slow down or business growth.   Whichever direction you choose, a business needs a solid foundation first and a greater understanding of your finances.   By understanding your cash flow, budgets, and tracking your incoming and outgoing expenses, you'll have the ability to forecast and plan from a more confident and empowered place.   It's all about having the right tools in place to support you and give you back control.   Have the confidence, clarity, and knowledge around money that you deserve with In Flow to Grow – the cash flow planner that takes the stress, fear, and mental load out of finances so that you can stay confidently in control of your money, your business, and in seasons of wanting to grow or slow in your business.   Let's connect over on Instagram at @lifeandbusinessinflow.

Building solid foundations in life and business is key for long-term sustainability, growth, and more importantly, mental, and physical well-being - which I am so deeply passionate about.   Drawing from 6 years of mentoring and over 1,400 one-on-one sessions, the biggest challenge that I see time and time again is trying to grow your business without a solid grasp on the foundations. The process, client journey, finances, tax/BAS and more just don't work themselves out on their own, we need to commit time to implementing and refining them.   Running a business isn't just about your social media presence, building your brand, and your client offerings. It's so much more than that. You need to actually run your business from the ground up.   If you don't, you'll burn out, let clients down, use band-aids and quick fixes, face even more overwhelm (aka shaky ground), and find yourself constantly putting out fires in your business that could have been avoided.   Look, I get it. Spreadsheets aren't as sexy as creating fancy Reels and carousels, or an aesthetically pleasing feed. But, with solid foundations in place, your business and life will become so much easier, and it will support you at every turn.   Join me in today's episode as I share the impact of creating solid foundations and continuously refining the back end of my business. It puts me in a position to take holidays, have space to work on my business, to focus on my health, provide a great service to my clients, and create space to grow and create all while supporting me in other areas of my life too. It's taken time, but the peace of mind is so worth it.   In flow to grow, the cash flow planner for clarity and confidence with your finances is available on my website to support you in getting clear and being in control of your finances.    Let's connect on Instagram at @lifeandbusinessinflow.

It's finally time for the final episode of the year - and what a year it's been.    2023 has been an incredibly significant year in my world. If you've listened along, you'll know that I turned 40, took time to travel with loved ones, and wrestled with grief at the loss of my mum and more recently, a very close friend. I've invested in myself physically, mentally and emotionally, and have learned so much about my body and my health in the process.   And whilst I've prioritised my growth, learning and healing, my business has continued to evolve and grow. I've rebranded, grown my team, hosted retreats, launched new products, and laid the foundations for the things I want to bring to life next year.   In a year filled with highs and lows, I've never felt more passionate and aligned with the work that I do. After 6 years in business and over 1300 one-on-one mentoring sessions, I can see that this support is still needed now more than ever as women continue to struggle with burnout.   Join me today to reflect on 2023 - the year of growth, but not in the way you would expect.   I wish you a wonderful Christmas, holidays and New Year x   To say thank you for being part of the journey and to support you with your own end-of-year reflections, I've created a Christmas gift called Release and Renew for you to reflect on the year that was and release what no longer serves you as you step into 2024. In my six years as a mentor, there's a consistent challenge I've seen people face, and that's cash flow.   It's one of the biggest fears, biggest resistances, and biggest unknowns that I see countless business owners struggle to manage. It can be from a lack of confidence and clarity, not charging the value of their offering, not having the best tools to manage it, or all of this and more.   That's not what I want for you. I want you to feel clear, confident, and empowered to make decisions in your business.   Having supported myself from a young age, being financially confident and independent is incredibly important to me. From piles of cash bundled with post-it notes to now an Excel spreadsheet that captures all areas of my personal and business finances, I've always had a cash flow system that gave me clarity on exactly where I'm at.   Now, I want to share that system with you with, In Flow to Grow.   It's my simple system to help women have the financial confidence and clarity they deserve, with none of the mental load of fear, stress, or anxiety that they don't know how to manage it.   In Flow to Grow is about more than just managing money. It's about taking control of your business, making decisions with confidence, highlighting where you can grow in your business, and releasing the stress and pressure that builds when we don't have that knowledge.   If you're ready to know exactly what's coming in and out of your business, to forecast and plan for growth with confidence, to reduce your mental load, and to have support with your finances even if mentoring isn't available to you right now, then In Flow to Grow is coming soon. It's a better experience in life and in business, with time and space to live life to the fullest and healthiest, it can be. It's feeling empowered by solid foundations and a clear, strong connection to who you are.   Getting there takes time, consistency, commitment, and investment - but I can guarantee that it works and it is so worth it.   Having experienced life and business in flow for myself, as well as seeing what life looks like without that flow, I'm so passionate about helping other women achieve it too. I want to help you overcome the thought of getting around to things “one day” and start making changes NOW.   If we endlessly tell ourselves that we don't have time, then that becomes our story. We'll never have time until we unlearn that story, and the sooner we start, the sooner things get better.   So what does life and business in flow mean to you, and how can you get there?   Today we'll talk about defining that meaning, taking those small steps that lead to big impact, building a solid support team, and setting up the foundations for a life and business that feel healthy, happy, and aligned for you.   Ready to create a sustainable life and business? Sometimes, the most powerful work you can do won't be obvious to anyone else.   It's work that will transform your life inside and out - but it's a journey you take within yourself.   I call it the ‘invisible work'. It's the inner reflections, healing, and grounding that allows us to live life as our healthiest self, physically and emotionally. It's work that people won't necessarily see happening, but the results will make themselves abundantly clear.   It isn't always easy for people to put themselves first and live life on their terms, but the truth is that we are the first foundation of our business. If we're struggling, then so are our businesses - not to mention our lives, relationships, sleep, health, and so much more.   If you feel like you're forever chasing your tail, running yourself ragged trying to make your business work for everyone else, then it's time to stop.   No more band-aiding your health and stress just to keep going. In today's episode, I want to shift your thinking to reflect on what it means for you to run your life and business at your own pace.   I mean it when I say it's a journey. There's no timeframe on it, just one foot in front of the other with small, consistent steps that will build into a healthier, happier version of you.   The sooner we start, the sooner we can get there - and when you do, that invisible work will become incredibly visible to both you and everyone around you.   Ready to create a sustainable life and business? We can't do it all on our own forever.   We can't be the creative director while we're caught up being the receptionist. Eventually, we all need support to allow ourselves freedom to grow, expand, and move our businesses forward.   For many business owners, hiring support can feel daunting. There can be fear around letting go of work, hiring the right person, finances, the process of onboarding someone, or even releasing someone that isn't the right fit.   Believe me, I totally get it.   I hired my first team member 18 months into my business and haven't looked back since. Without support, I wouldn't be able to work with as many clients as I do, create new products, host retreats, plan my growth strategy - or even have this podcast. In fact, my only regret about hiring support was that I waited too long to do it.   If you've been thinking about hiring support or want to know what that could look like one day, then this episode is for you. We'll go through how to overcome the limiting beliefs around hiring, empower your team members, recognise when it's time to let someone go, and when we might have waited too long to hire.   Today, I'm challenging you to think about how much you could achieve, grow, and earn if you had support in your business.   As business owners, we should be building up supports behind us so that we can step up and grow into the business in different ways - but we can't do that if we're stuck in the trenches.   It's time to Flourish as I guide, empower, and support you, the woman behind the brand, through navigating your business decisions and personal growth while opening you up to new possibilities in a really supportive way.   Ready to create a sustainable life and business? It allows time for family, gives me space to recharge, and lets me live a happy, healthy life.   It's the freedom that so many women are dreaming of, but it doesn't happen overnight.   We all know that life doesn't always go to plan. As much as we'd love for everything to perfectly fall into place, that just isn't reality.   What doesn't have to be reality is to let that stop you from even starting.   It's all too easy to slip into a pattern of waiting for the right time to start taking those steps toward your vision. We tell ourselves that we'll get around to it next week, next month, or next year.   But why wait?   Every little thing that we could start to do NOW is going to compound. Maybe you won't move through things as quickly as you want or be able to take on everything at once, but those little steps are going to move you toward your vision far more than staying stuck in paralysis and overwhelm.   So, if you've been holding a vision for your life and business but don't know how to tackle those big steps to get there - this is your sign to take the small, consistent ones.   In today's episode, I'll show you exactly what that can look like. Today, it's time to ask yourself something that might be a tough question. Are you feeling stuck or stagnant in your business?   Often, we don't want to admit that we might be feeling stuck, lost, or overwhelmed. Maybe it feels vulnerable, maybe we feel like we shouldn't ask for help. But the truth is that the only way to move past feeling stuck is to acknowledge it and get support if we need it. We're not alone and we don't have to figure it all out by ourselves.   I'd like to share something I learned in my very first year of business that has stayed with me all the way till now: Get out of the ‘how'.   Often, I see people stuck in their business because they're stuck in the ‘how'. There are things they want to do, but they don't know how, or they don't know where to start. If that feels familiar, then think about it this way: What is it costing you to procrastinate?    Whatever part of your business it is, as long as you're feeling stuck, it's taking up space and weighing on you. It makes you exhausted, stagnated, and keeps your business from moving forward.   No matter where you are on your business journey, today I want to challenge you to think about this differently. Instead of feeling like you're stuck because you don't know what to do, think about what it is that you want and map out actionable, bite-sized steps to get you there.   When you can shift your mindset like that, you can really, truly come into your own as the CEO of your business. It could be money, full-time hours spent working on your business, a busy team, and endless clients coming through your doors.   Or, it could be running a business that fits with your life and gives you time to spend on the things you value. A business with smooth processes that runs so efficiently you don't have to be at your desk 8 hours a day to get everything done.   I know that for me and so many of my clients, it's the latter - but it took a complete change of thinking to realise that and stop living the former.   So many of us are living with the perception that success means you have to be working hard round the clock, saying yes to everything, and with your hands constantly full. And often, it's because we're living someone else's beliefs about success.   Today, I challenge you to strip that back and truly think about what success means to YOU. Because at the end of the day, it's your life and it's your business. Ask yourself: How are things going?   We've talked a lot lately about life, health, and deeper spiritual things, but today, let's talk about your business.   It may seem like just yesterday that you were reflecting on your last year and planning out your goals for the year to come, but right now we're at the end of quarter one. There's plenty of the year still to go, but it's a great point to stop and ask yourself how things are going in your business.   If you decided to make changes this year, how is that going? Is your business on the right path to achieving your goals? Are you tracking and planning your finances and taxes? Is it time to review your branding, services, or pricing?   In this episode, I'm asking all of these questions and more to help guide you in really diving in to reflect on your business. It's a process that can sound overwhelming at first, but we'll be breaking it down in a way that feels simple, clear, and empowering.   And if you realise that maybe you're not where you thought you were, that's ok. We all drop the ball on different things from time to time and have different focuses in life. But this is a little gentle reminder to lovingly pick up that part of your business and run with it so that you can get the most out of your year and build a business that flows just how you want it to.   For finances made simple, listen to Episode 27: The Real Cost of Avoiding Your Finances with Stacey Price from Healthy Business Finances.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? This is an episode that I've known was coming for some time. It's a hard one, but I want to make it a beautiful one too.   In this past month, my mother passed away after a long battle with breast cancer.   It's hard to put into words just how these past few weeks have felt, but at this moment, one word comes to mind - bittersweet.   It's the pain of losing mum mixed in with the magic of holding the most beautiful retreat.   It's the most incredible experience of my life, and the most difficult.   It's the feeling of losing someone - but also seeing so many people coming to join together.   It's been a time of grief but also so much love and it's that beauty that I want to focus on today.   There were moments when I thought that the retreat wouldn't or couldn't happen, but mum held on and I was able to share that amazing, healing, fulfilling experience with her. I was able to show her the powerful, wonderful women that came and invested in themselves, and the transformations that they went home with.   She was here to share in one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, and then she had the most beautiful passing.   Today, this is the story I'm sharing. It's raw, it's powerful, it's spiritual, it's healing - and it's beautifully bittersweet.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? Download the First Steps Guide.   Want to connect? A Life and Business That Serves You

If you listened to my last episode, then you'll know that we've called the time of death on the boss babe. We're putting hustle culture and all its issues behind us.   Now comes the question - what's next?    The fact is, change doesn't come overnight. It takes work and transformation in so many ways, but there are absolutely changes that you can make today that will start to make all the difference.   I'll be the first to put my hand up and say that I have been on a massive and incredible journey of change for myself. I can tell you firsthand that it's an amazing experience and best of all, I can share the key insights that have helped me and my clients the most.   To truly put hustle culture behind us, let's work to build a business and life that serves you - and not the other way around.   Let's start listening to our bodies, connecting with ourselves, learning who we truly are and what we value, and setting solid boundaries from there. Let's understand that we are unique human beings and how we choose to build our business foundations will come from within, not from anyone else.   Shifting away from the boss babe doesn't mean we're shifting away from building a growing, sustainable business. In fact, it means the complete opposite.   There is so much more success and fulfillment to be found when you give yourself space to breathe, reflect, reset, and get support - both in business and in life.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? Today, I'm calling the time of death on the boss babe and everything that she represents.   The woman who's shiny on the surface, but underneath is disconnected, burnt out, and feels like she's never enough.   The woman who feels like she's always hustling but never truly succeeding.   The woman who is running on autopilot, barely finding the time to actually enjoy her business and her life.   It's time for us to lay her to rest and do things differently.   Now, let's bring in the new era of the woman who's connected, in alignment, and doing things on her own terms. She knows who she is and how to take care of herself - and that's where her success comes from.   This is the change we need and deserve, and I want to lead the way in bringing it in. I know from firsthand experience that the best way to support your business is to support YOU. Only when you're empowered within yourself can you make empowered decisions about your business.   In this episode, let's talk about how and why things need to change, letting go of toxic or outdated mindsets, masculine and feminine energy in business, and the devastating impacts it can have when things don't change.   If you're ready to make a shift like no other and find more joy in your life than ever before, then join me, and let's kick hustle culture to the curb.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? The end of the year is here, and what a year it's been. I've taken more space for myself than I ever have and have a more abundant business than ever as a result. I've expanded in more ways than I can count and I'm so excited to continue this pathway in the years to come.   If you're in business, you know that the lessons learned are endless, but today, let's talk about the ones I've found to be the most important - and that have helped get me to the wonderful place I am today.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? Someone who understands you, your services, and especially when it comes to specialists and experts - someone who's down to earth and doesn't overload you with jargon you just can't follow.   For me, that someone was Tracey Mylecharane, my lawyer.   Tracey is a business lawyer who founded her business, TM Solicitor, with an ‘empower ethos'. She's on a mission to educate and empower small business owners to back themselves - legally.   Having worked in law for over 18 years, she has seen it all and knows exactly what can go wrong in business. Let me tell you about one of the most beautiful experiences I've had in my life.   In May 2021, I hosted my very own retreat. It was one of the best things I've done to date. In a couple of weeks' time, my new retreat will be launching, and in early 2023, I get to do it all again.   A retreat is an amazing way to create some space, strip the layers back, and take a deep, fresh look at things. It can be a healing, spiritual, and vulnerable experience.   Taking time away from your life and business doesn't have to be something you do alone. It can be the chance to have powerful conversations and intimate gatherings with other wonderful, like-minded women who can help empower and expand you.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? Life doesn't always go to plan. I know I had a plan for what this year would look like, and well, let's just say it's not really panned out that way. But the thing is, that is life and business.   Things that are totally out of your control can come up which means suddenly, nothing's going at all as you expected. So here's my lesson for you - let go of that expectation.   It's one of the biggest lessons I've learned this year. It's shown me that expectations can be your undoing, but that releasing control and attachment can lead to growth, success and abundance.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? Hands up if it has felt like a HUGE year.   Not only that, as we gear up to hit October, it can feel like the time has totally evaporated - whether that's just this year or seemingly every year.   As a result, this last part of the year can feel like the hardest. We're busy, we're tired, and we just want to get to that end-of-the-year finish line.   Today, I challenge you to think about it differently.   This is the time of year when instead of feeling like I have to charge ahead, I take a break and RE-charge instead.  I allow myself to wind down and recover before I power back up and start planning for this last quarter and beyond.   Create that space and put yourself first, and you won't just hit the end of the year strong - you'll feel ready for the next one too.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business? Today, I want to talk about a fear that's been around for a lifetime and is shared by so many women. It's a fear centered around one word - “No”.   Saying “no” can be a struggle. It means putting up boundaries, having clarity in your business, and trusting that people see the value in what you do. It's believing in the relationships you've formed and knowing that the way your business is structured will allow income to flow.   It's so much easier to fall into a pattern of saying “yes” to everything and everyone. And whilst that may feel good for a while, it's just not sustainable.   Today, let's take the fear out of saying “no” and instead, open our eyes to how much power it holds and the transformations it can make both in you and your business.   Ready to create a sustainable Life & Business?
