Being moved by your circumstance can create consequences that could perhaps make your situation more painful or complicated. Such can also create more problems. With all that many are experencing and going through in life it has been said that I had to do what I had to do. I have hear that statement so many times in my life. As a young women I also believed such statement to be necessary and true. However did you take the situation to your heavely father first?  Millions of individuals all over the world today are depressed, anxious, frustrated, sick, broke and present as afraid or unhappy. In such times one will start to question where is God?  Join myself and others as we discuss " Being Moved By Your Circumstance." Just remember refuse to be intiminated by your circumstance. Your failures does not define you, your determination does. Psalm 46:1 say God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble or troubled times. Many individuals have heard or perhaps have said that they are blessed. Yet I have learned that many individuals really have no ideal or understanding as to what that really mean. For years, I myself thought that it meant that one was happy in life without a care or burden in the world. I as well as others was led to believe that it consisted of material items which was visable to another. However as I matured in my spiritual walk I learned that such is a favor or gift bestowed by God thereby bringing happiness. It is the invoking of God's favor upon a person. There are different types of blessings.  Today's show is designed to provide information as it relates to the different types of blessings. Both material blessings and spiritual blessings will be discussed. There are many questions to be asked. One of the most common question is "Will God bless a sinner?" As well as can one share their blessings or be a blessing to another? To join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914. I wantt to hear your thoughts.

At an evening networking event some time ago, it had rained a bit just before the event, but it stopped. The restaurant hosting it planned to have it out in their patio. The staff wiped the chairs and tables down and lit the fire and colorful outdoor lights and it was a nice setting. The manager stands up to greet everyone and says, “Thank Gosh that it stopped raining!” “Gosh”? Really? “Gosh”? Had it not been a business event, I would have taken her aside and asked, “Who is ‘Gosh’ that you’re thanking?” Which brings me to another question. If an atheist sits down to Thanksgiving dinner with his/her family, who exactly are they grateful to? Whoever made the dinner? That’s it? One thing that I am grateful for in my Catholic upbringing is that I know God exists and I’ve never doubted that. I know that Jesus is His Son and that He died on the cross and rose to heaven in 3 days. And I know that the Holy Spirit is part of the Holy Trinity, though, I really didn’t know what the Holy Spirit did until I became a saved, born-again Christian. And, I thank Jesus for that Gift of Grace! I can’t fathom anyone one not looking around at this great world and not seeing that there had to be a Creator God. But, this isn’t a post on apologetics. What I’m getting at is that God is the source of all that is good in this world. All good gifts, blessings, promises, everything! Furthermore, when we realize that, and become grateful to HIM, our attitude changes for the better. Good Gifts, Blessings, and Being Blessed....
