Scream 7 - Ep 386: Ghostface is back, and week the Normies dust off their voice changers and dive into Scream 7 — the latest entry in the legendary slasher franchise that asks the eternal question: how many times can you reboot terror before the killer reboots you? Grab your cordless phone, check the caller ID, and remember: in horror podcasts, anyone can be the host… or the victim. Scream 7 on Normies Like Us!
That Ghostface killer just won't go away because while he's stacking bodies in these Scream movies, he's also stacking large stacks of cash for the movie studio. Therefore, I now present you “Scream 7”, the latest in the blood-soaked, big bucks franchise, started way back in 1996. In these movies, we're now in the era where the final girl from most of the early Scream movies, Neve Campbell as Sydney Prescott, has had movies and books written about Ghostface killers terrorizing her. She's a celebrity and she's back as the main character in this latest installment. Joining her from the 1996 movie cast is Courtney Cox as Gale Weathers, the former news reporter and now media personality. A major new player introduced in “Scream 7” is Sydney's daughter, Tatum, played by Isabel May and she's the typical rebellious, moody teenager girl who annoys her Mom. Throughout the course of this movie, she learns she needs her Mom, and her experience with the psycho killer in the mask and black robe. Will mother and daughter survive this movie? Is it worth going to the theater to find out? Find out in this episode of Movies Merica! “Scream 7” also stars Jasmin Savoy-Brown, Mason Gooding, Joel McHale, McKenna Grace, Anna Camp, Celeste O'Connor, Sam Rechner, Asa Germann, Matthew Lillard, Kraig Dane, Ethan Embry and Mark Consuelos. With Scream 2 in the foreground after certifying the series as a franchise, it would seem that everyone associated with the horror films had better things to do than come back for its (at the time) swan song. Specifically, star Neve Campbell and director Wes Craven. Campbell was working on Party of Five and a film called Drowning Mona. And Craven wanted to wade his way through the horror ghetto to do the Meryl Streep starring Music of the Heart. Writer Kevin Williamson submitted outlines, but he was also busy not only directing his first feature Teaching Mrs Tingle, but he was also doing a failed TV show called Wasteland. Enter writer Ehren Kruger, who the Weinsteins hired to flesh out Williamson's concepts. Though Kruger allegedly threw out these concepts and did a script that Craven was rewriting each day on the set. So once again we have a movie built on chaos. Does it rise above like before? Join Garrett, Matt, and Adam as they review Courtney Cox's hai…I mean, inclusion in this film, as well as a killer reveal Adam has no idea how to feel about. Does that warrant a good review?? Come back in the ensuing weeks as we lead up to a review of this year's Scream 7!

Bring Your Daughter To the Slaughter Neve Campbell sat out Ghostface's rampage in New York City so she could raise Isabel May to become her Final Girl replacement in Scream 7. Has Matthew Lillard risen from the dead to stalk veteran survivors like Courtney Cox, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown in a brand new suburbia? And why did O.G. screenwriter Kevin Williamson take another stab at directing a scary movie after his debut, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, nearly killed his career? Join true crime junkies Marjorie, Arnie, and Stuart as they clean the blade of another postmodern slasher installment.

Scream Directed by Wes Craven Starring Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich Wes Craven re-invented and revitalised the slasher-horror genre with this modern horror classic, which manages to be funny, clever and scary, as a fright-masked knife maniac stalks high-school students in middle-class suburbia. Craven is happy to provide both tension and self-parody as the body count mounts - but the victims aren't always the ones you'd expect. Scream 2 Wes Craven Starring Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette Sydney (Neve Campbell) and tabloid reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) survived the events of the first Scream, but their nightmare isn't over. When two college students are murdered at a sneak preview of Stab, a movie based on the events from the first film, it's clear a copycat killer is on the loose. Sydney and Gail, as well as fellow survivors Deputy Dewey (David Arquette) and Randy (Jamie Kennedy) have to find out who is behind this new murder spree, before they all end up dead. Scream 3 Directed by Wes Craven Starring Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette The last instalment in the 'Scream' trilogy is set in Hollywood, where 'Stab 3' is being shot, with Gale Weathers and Dwight Riley on set as advisors to Jennifer Jolie. Unfortunately, a killer decides to off the cast in the order of the screenplay and only 'Sid' Prescott, now in hiding until the killer tracks her down, can solve the riddle. Scream 4 Directed by Wes Craven Starring Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Courtney Cox, Neve Campbell It has been many years since the Ghostface Killer cut a deadly path through the town of Woodsboro. In order to get over the trauma of those horrific events, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has written a self-help book. She returns to Woodsboro for her book tour, and reconnects with old friends Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette). However, Sidney's arrival also sparks the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney and everyone she loves in danger. Scream 5 Directed by Tyler Gillett, Matt Bettinelli Olpin Starring Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrara, Jack Quaid, Mikey Madison, Neve Campbell Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, Calif., a new killer dons the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town's deadly past. Scream 6 Directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli Olpin Starring Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrara, Mason Gooding, Courtney Cox Four survivors of the Ghostface murders leave Woodsboro behind for a fresh start in New York City. However, they soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when a new killer embarks on a bloody rampage. Scream 7 Directed by Kevin Williamson Starring Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Joel McHale When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, she must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
Welp, here we go. Scream 7, which comes from franchise creator Kevin Williamson and stars the queen of final girls herself Neve Campbell, is now out in cinemas. Listen, I don't know about you but I'm just glad we can all move on from this movie now that it's finally out. It's a shame because the original Scream is - and always will be - my favorite horror movie of all-time; it was inventive and broke the genre it ways that were needed in 1996 while still showing such love and admiration from it. Scream 7 loses the plot and does not understand what made this franchise great in the first place... and no, I'm not just hating on it because of dumb actions made by studio executives. Listen on to here why Scream 7 is the first truly terrible Scream movie.Scream 7:Directed by: Kevin WilliamsonWritten by: Kevin Williamson and Guy BusickStory by: James Vanderbilt & Guy BusickBased on characters created by: Kevin WilliamsonProduced by: Paul Neinstein, William Sherak, James VanderbiltExecutive Producers: Gary Barber, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillet, Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Ben Fast, Cathy Konrad, Marianne Maddalena, Ben Ormand, Chris Stone, Chad Villella, Kevin WilliamsonMusic by: Marco BeltramiDirector of Photography: Ramsey NickellEdited by: Jim PageCasting by: Rich DeliaProduction Design by: John CollinsCostume Design by: Leigh LeverettCast: Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Isabel May, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Roger L. The long running "Scream" franchise shows up for a seventh iteration and the LAMB is there to talk about it. How does it measure up to the earlier episodes, are the new characters interesting enough to keep track of, wait, the killer is...you are kidding me? Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox return to the series, and they bring some legacy characters to the show in a way that may frighten you more than anything going on on screen. Horror veterans Lisa Leaheey, Amanda Kirkham and Richard are joined by fright film dilettante Nicole Ayers for a slice of Hollywood mining operations. The opinions will surprise you more than the killer reveal.

This film was co written and directed by Kevin Williamson, is the 7th film in the series and serves as a direct sequel to 2023's “Scream VI”. The film sees Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, Jasmine Savoy Brown & Mason Gooding return to their respective roles while being joined by newcomers Isabel May, McKenna Grace, Anna Camp & Jimmy Tatro. In this film, Sydney Prescott and her daughter are hunted by the dreaded Ghostface killer from the home in Indiana to their hometown of Woodsboro but things take an unexpected turn when the killer uses familiar faces and tactics cover their identity as their kill count grows. Kevin Williamson had written the 2 films in the franchise as well as the fourth film and served as a producer throughout the franchise but never stepped into the directors role making this film the second film he's ever directed. After the departure of the previous films cast and crew, which included stars Melissa Barrera & Jenny Ortega and the directors, Paramount had rewrite the script which also led to the return of Neve Campbell who was not in the previous film. The film hit theaters nationwide on February 25th, 2026.

Send us a textA Galway street corner, a chance hello to Adam Duritz, and a sunglasses-off moment with Courtney Cox set the scene before we pour something special: Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2025. We start with the nostalgia and then zero in on why this release feels different—same mash bill, new dimension—thanks to a cool limestone cellar that slows the dance between spirit and wood.We break down what matters for your glass. The blend leans 74% 11-year with 13- and 14-year components at 112.9 proof, and the profile announces itself on the nose with brown sugar, cinnamon, toasted oak, and that apple-pie cozy note. On the palate, it turns decadent but never cloying: orange and cherry like an old fashioned, chocolate and toasted almond like a pastry, and enough spice to remind you it's nearly 113 proof. The fruit shows up earlier than you'd expect from a wheated bourbon, while leather and tobacco stay in the background. If you've only known standard Maker's as sweet and light, this one bends the arc toward depth and balance. We also talk price, timing, and how to find a pour without burning your budget. MSRP lands at $175, with some secondary lift, so we tested by the ounce first—a move we recommend. Bigger retailers and smart whiskey bars will be your best bet, and if you spot it near retail, we'd grab it. Our ratings land strong, and we call it a top contender for year-end lists, especially for drinkers who want a dessert-ready sipper that doesn't need ice or a mixer to shine. If this kind of fruit-forward, cellar-shaped wheated bourbon sounds like your lane, come taste it with us, compare notes, and tell us what you're getting in the finish. Subscribe for more pours, share with a friend who underestimates Maker's, and leave a quick review so others can find the show. What bottle should we chase next?

What's your favorite scary movie? In a world where one man has only seen 30 or so movies comes a desire to learn from a master. A master of film. A master of cinema. A master who has led such a sad life. Logan seeks the knowledge and he turns to his own personal “Yoda”; Keithie. Join Logan & Keithie on a wild adventure to discover as we watch along with a new movie each episode in THE MOVIE EDUCATION OF LOGAN CROSLAND. This episode, Logan, Keithie & Jenny (with Tim later of course) enjoy a trip to spookytown with this month's assignment, Scream. Neve Campbell, Skeet Ulrich, Courtney Cox & Drew Barrymore(?) star in this reboot of sorts into the horror genre for the next generation. The gang discuss scary movies, David Arquette, Henry Winkler and other stuff along the way. We all go a little mad sometimes.
Justin Sylvester joins Jenna Bush Hager to co-host. Lionel Richie sits down to talk about his new memoir, “Truly,” where he opens up about his life and career. Then, Zanna Roberts Rassi chats with Courtney Cox about several iconic moments throughout her career. And, Food Network star Alex Guarnaschelli shares recipes for fall roasted chicken and pumpkin cake. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Old hidden secrets come to haunt teens in Woodsboro as a Ghostface killer resurfaces and anyone related to individuals from previous murders become targets.Scream thematically maintains the clever parody of previous slasher movies and tropes, but weaves in new horror insights into a fresh film that still maintains the integrity of the franchise. The Scream movie series continues to have the same types of red herrings in the mystery while remaining innovative. While not as good as the first couple of movies in the series, this movie doesn't disappoint and has another great cast with newcomers like Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, and Mikey Madison, and brings back series favorites like Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette. More great kills, funny deliveries, and unforeseen twists. We welcome back comedian, author, and former Chelsea Lately star Sarah Colonna for a no-holds-barred Part 2. From influencer lists to psychic warnings, nothing's off-limits. We start by comparing notes on being left out of influencer trips while Sarah confesses, she just came back for another coffee reading. “I just wanted a second opinion,” she laughs. The gang dives into “Haute Topics,” debating Kelsey Grammer welcoming baby number eight at 70. We react to The Chrisleys pardoned by Trump after stealing millions. “How do they get picked over people in for petty crimes?” Sarah wonders. Patrik sums it up: “Best friends with the president.” Next, we rave about Jeremy Allen White (Sarah's Shameless co-star) starring as Bruce Springsteen in a new biopic. Sarah shares she met him at table reads and jokes she wants to cameo as Courtney Cox in the “Dancing in the Dark” video. They debate whether Jeremy can sing or not. On Runway Rundown, the critiques get spicy. Chelsea Handler's silver strapless gown draws mixed reviews—Patrik calls it “prom 1975,” while Sarah defends her ex-boss: “I think it looks good on her!” Elsa Hosk's sheer, couture Cannes gown blows them away: “This is the definition of slay.” Kristen Stewart's cream shorts suit sparks debate over proportions and those controversial bobby socks. When Sarah's own red satin top appears on screen, Patrik calls it “Halloween gone bad.” She promises never to wear it again. In between fashion roasts, they commiserate over self-tape auditions. Patrik groans about taping for parts like crack dealers, plastic-surgery addicts, and porn-star managers. Sarah admits she prefers professional taping studios because filming with her husband is “a recipe for divorce.” Then it's time for Pol's coffee reading—Sarah's main reason for showing up again. He sees: A person close to her (with a “J” in the name) who pretends to be supportive but is actually jealous and waiting for the right moment to sabotage her. A project she's put aside that will unite her stand-up, writing, and acting—her real path forward. A future trip that will be canceled, and she shouldn't force it (“You'll find out later you weren't supposed to go.”). Sarah looks stunned: “I think I know who this is.” They play a game of “Sarah Colonna: Chelsea Lately or Football Wife?” recalling whether she ever flashed an audience (she didn't), spilled a drink on the owner's shoes (also didn't), or got mistaken for a cheerleader (sadly, no). They giggle about Snow White 90210 being called “Little Thunder” at football games. Sarah shares memories of her worst commercial—a Home Depot ad shot near the airport with no AC. “They were mad I was sweating in July!” she recalls. They laugh about how she still does self-tapes, though she'd rather be in the room getting feedback. Wrapping up, Sarah talks about her live shows in Oregon, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Tacoma, and Spokane. She plugs her podcasts: Are You My Podcast with Mary Radzinski The Book Lisp with her husband Jon (“It's about books—and our lisp!”) We end with Sarah declaring she feels “naked and afraid—in the best way.” This is another Hurrdat Media Production.
