Marley Blonsky will be riding her first RAGBRAI in 2023!! If you don't know Marley yet, she is a big time adventure cyclist who does all kinds of crazy cool bicycle adventures, she's an influencer, and she advocates for people of all sizes, genders, races, ages, income levels and abilities to be included and welcomed in the bike community. A few years back Marley and Kailey were filmed while on a two day bikepacking adventure. In this Shimano Originals film called All Bodies on Bikes, the pair, who both self-identify as fat, bond over their love of bicycle adventure and their shared desire to build a more welcoming and diverse cycling community. Soon after the success of that film Marley and Kailey co-founded All Bodies on Bikes, where they are working to change the bike industry. They believe that anyone who wants to ride a bike should be able to, regardless of their size or weight. Marley will be biking with Shimano and you can meet her at the RAGBRAI Expo. Marley Blonsky made a massive life change last year. She moved from Seattle to one of the new bike Meccas, Bentonville, Arkansas. A built-in bike community in an up-and-coming location making waves throughout the bike world seemed like the right fit.Once she arrived, Blonsky wasn't content to simply start living the bike bum lifestyle (which, frankly, I would have!). Instead, she got to work leaving her mark once again on the bike industry. Her new podcast, All Bodies on Bikes, pairs Marley with her co-host Maggie to explore all-body-inclusion and how it affects the industry at large. From the All Bodies on Bikes podcast page: “We will explore themes such as party pace and why Marley hates it, the limitations of equipment, finding clothing and cycling tools, group ride dynamics as a larger-bodied person, the impact that ‘All Bodies On Bikes' has had and can have on the cycling industry as a whole.”She's also working on creating her own clothing company to accommodate big bodies. Episode 166!? This week we are giving our thoughts on the last two episodes of the She-Hulk show! "She-Hulk," a new comedy series coming to Disney+, stars Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. "She-Hulk" will welcome a host of Marvel characters to the series, including the Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and the Abomination, played by Tim Roth. Episode 8: "Ribbit and Rip It" Walters takes on a new case, representing Eugene Patilio / Leap-Frog, who wishes to sue Jacobson for giving him a faulty supersuit. Jacobson is represented by Matt Murdock in court, and wins the case due to Patilio inadvertently revealing that he disobeyed Jacobson's instructions for using the suit. Afterwards, Patilio contacts Walters asking for help against an unknown assailant. Walters arrives and battles the assailant, who she discovers to be Murdock as his superhero persona Daredevil. Murdock reveals to Walters that Patilio kidnapped Jacobson, and the two work together to rescue the latter before sleeping together. The next day, Walters attends the Southern California Law Awards gala, where she accepts a Female Lawyer of the Year award, but the gala is interrupted by an Intelligencia broadcast which smears Walters' reputation by displaying footage of her in bed with Miller. Briefly losing control, Walters goes on a rampage, destroying the gala stage and attempting to capture a nearby Intelligencia member, only to be apprehended by the Department of Damage Control (DODC). Episode 9: "Whose Show Is This?" Walters is released from DODC custody, but is forced to wear an inhibitor to prevent her from transforming, and loses her job at GLK&H. Nikki and Pug infiltrate an Intelligencia event, where they learn that Phelps is HulkKing and Blonsky as the Abomination is serving as a motivational speaker. Walters arrives at the event and confronts Phelps, who injects himself with her blood and transforms into a Hulk. After Titania and Banner unexpectedly appear in the ensuing fight, a confused Walters destroys her inhibitor and breaks the fourth wall to confront the show's writers in Marvel Studios: Assembled. She meets with K.E.V.I.N., an artificial intelligence that claims to be in charge of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's storyline decisions, and persuades it to rewrite the finale, to which it reluctantly agrees. Returning to her show, she finds Phelps and Blonsky have been arrested. While celebrating with her family and Murdock, Banner returns from Sakaar with his son Skaar. After regaining her job and being cleared of all charges, Walters vows to continue her work as a lawyer and a superhero. In a mid-credits scene, Wong breaks Blonsky out of prison and takes him to Kamar-Taj. With all the attention Jenn loses her job at GLK&H, and can't find work forcing her to move out of her apartment and back in with her parents where she plans to get justice against those responsible for invading her private life. However, with the torture of living at home, she decides to go to Blonsky's retreat to seek advice, after failing to gather any meaningful information on Intelligencia and the HulkKing. Nikki is more successful, after using an embarrassing college video, given to her by Jenn's mother, on the intelligentsia forums she receives an invite from the HulkKing to join a private gathering. She asks Pug along to infiltrate the event, which also takes place at Blonsky's retreat, and learns that Todd Phelps is the HulkKing. Jenn arrives at the retreat and stumbles upon the gathering. Blonsky is also present in his Abomination form, acting as a motivational speaker, though oblivious to Intelligencia's true goals. Walters confronts Todd, who injects himself with a substance containing her blood, turning himself into a Hulk. A fight ensues, as Titania and Banner also smash in unexpectedly. Confused by what is happening in the scene, Walters smashes the fourth wall and confronts the writers of the show. After not getting anything from the writer she heads for answers from Kevin Feige. Forcing her way in she meets K.E.V.I.N. (Knowledge, Enhanced, Visual, Interconnectivity, Nexus), an artificial intelligence claiming to be in charge of all Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline decisions. Jenn persuades K.E.V.I.N. to rewrite the climax of the episode so that she can get her ending, she isn't saved by Hulk, Emil is held accountable and Todd gets his day in court to answer for his crimes. K.E.V.I.N reluctantly agrees. Upon returning to the show, Jenn finds that Todd and Emil are arrested. She returns home to celebrate with her family and Matt Murdock, when cousin Bruce returns from Sakaar with his son Skaar. Some time later, having regained her job, She-Hulk attends her court case against Todd, and vows to continue her work as both a lawyer and a superhero. In a mid-credit scene, Sorcerer Supreme Wong breaks Emil Blonsky out of prison and takes him to Kamar-Taj. This week Chris and Daniel recap episode 7 of She-Hulk. This episode is titled "The Retreat". Summary: Walters goes on several dates with Josh, but he disappears and seemingly ghosts her after they sleep together. While anticipating a text from him, she receives a call from Blonsky's parole officer Chuck Donelan, who informs her that the inhibitor that stops Blonsky from turning into Abomination is broken and that he wants her to accompany him to Blonsky's meditation retreat to check on him. When the officer leaves, Man-Bull and El Águila accidentally destroy her car, forcing her to stay there until it can be towed away. Despite the retreat lacking internet and cell coverage, Walters continues to nervously await a response from Josh. She attends a group therapy session with Blonsky, Man-Bull, El Águila, Porcupine, Saracen, and Wrecker of the Wrecking Crew, where she is convinced to delete Josh's contact information and let go of her feelings towards him. It is revealed that three days earlier, Josh secretly cloned Jen's phone and stole a sample of her blood on behalf of "HulkKing" after sleeping with her. He informs her that the inhibitor that stops Blonsky from turning into Abomination is broken and that she has to go to his meditation retreat to check on him. Arriving at the retreat, Emil Blonsky welcomes her and they fix his malfunctioning inhibitor, but as she is leaving two clients, Man-Bull and El Águila, who are working out resentments accidentally destroy her car, forcing her to stay at the retreat until it can be towed away. The retreat lacks wifi and mobile coverage, which makes Jen fret even further as she continues to nervously await a response from Josh. But when she finds the one bar of mobile coverage, it is in the group therapy lodge and she becomes embroiled in a group therapy session with Blonsky, Man-Bull, El Águila, Porcupine, Saracen and surprisingly her former mugger Wrecker, of the Wrecking Crew. After Jen is placed in the calming chair to stop her from hulking out at Wrecker, she opens up to the group where she is given the possibility that Josh has ghosted her and is convinced to delete his contact information and let go of her feelings towards him. As Walters leaves the retreat, a flashback shows that after she and Josh slept together, he secretly cloned her phone and stole a sample of her blood for the "HulkKing". A few years ago, Marley Blonsky bought a bike as a way to get to work. Soon after, she started bike camping and fell in love with the freedom of cycling. Fast forward to 2020, and Marley started All Bodies on Bikes with past guest and fellow body inclusive cyclist Kailey Kornhauser. The pair were featured in a beautiful short film, and they've been written about in some of the industry's most prominent cycling publications. Meanwhile Jenn's colleague Pug has to represent her narcissistic former co-worker Dennis in a case against a shape shifting light elf. Runa the elf had impersonated Grammy award winning artist Megan Thee Stallion leading on Dennis and scamming $175 grand out of him. With the expert testimony of Jenn on how self absorbed Dennis is he wins the case and Runa the light elf is sentenced to 6 months in prison for attempting to impersonate a judge. Following the hearing Jennifer is attacked by a crew outside her home with some Asgardian construction tools. In her She-Hulk form they are easily defeated but remark that their boss won't be happy they failed to get a sample of Jenn's blood.With the case won and her attackers dispatched, Jenn has a new client, and a friend she'd kill for, as she twerks with Megan Thee Stallion in her office. In this podcast, we talk to Marley Blonksy. Marley is one of the founders of All Bodies on Bikes, and one of their tag lines is “All Bodies Are Good Bodies. In the aftermath of Titania's defeat, Walters gains reputation as a new superhero dubbed "She-Hulk" by the public, much to her dismay.
