This episode originally aired as Season 2 #17, and it's one I still get messages about. So today, we're bringing it back.If you've ever been told to “just feel the music,” but no one explained how—this one's for you. I break down the essential building blocks of tango music and how they translate into better dances, deeper connection, and more musical movement.Whether you're a leader or follower, musicality is the difference between just getting through the song… and actually dancing it.Join my upcoming LIVE in my FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/sotangoworld

See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

After six doses of epinephrine, it may be too late for the CPR patient. Emergency physicians Dr. Zachary Boivin and Dr. Trent She, both from Connecticut, discussed their recent study entitled "Epinephrine in Cardiac Arrest: Identifying a Potential Limit for Resuscitation."1 This research sought to determine if there is a ceiling to the effective use of Epinephrine during resuscitation. Peter Antevy, MD, who created the Handtevy System, a software-based pediatric resuscitation method and bag system is also an EMS Physician for Palm Beach County (FL) Fire Rescue and he made a post on LinkedIn advocating for abolishing Epinephrine in shockable rhythm protocols. He posts about how his protocol does not follow standard AHA guidelines at Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and their plan for ventricular fibrillation is to use esmolol, but no Epinephrine. Digital disruption is everywhere, including in the practice of internal audit. An audit leader joined the JofA podcast recently to discuss how technology can be harnessed instead of feared or resisted. Anthony Pugliese, CPA/CITP, CGMA, president and CEO of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), said it is understandable for fast-moving technology to be daunting. But such technology presents opportunities as well as risks. One tie-in is the new tools' ability to attract the next generation of talent for auditing. In this episode, Pugliese reviews recent IIA research, reminds auditors about the importance of curiosity, and discusses some of the misconceptions facing the profession. What you'll learn from this episode: ·         Highlights of recent research by The IIA about top risks. ·         Some of the “misconceptions” about internal auditing, according to Pugliese. ·         How the “slow trek” of blockchain integration into processes differs from today's tech implementations. ·         The “most golden thing” auditors can do. ·         A reminder of the timeline for adoption of international auditing standards.

Both presidential candidates have promised big economic plans — with hefty price tags. Donald Trump has vowed tax cuts and across-the-board tariffs. Kamala Harris has also pledged tax cuts, a cracking down of price gouging, and the construction of new homes. Third-party candidates could significantly impact the 2024 election, potentially swaying votes in key swing states and challenging major party dynamics. Sean Baker, director of the new film "Anora," talks about how having a bigger budget and professional actors changed his filmmaking process.  Orecchiette, the pasta shaped like an ear, plus cime di rapa, known as rapini or broccoli raab in the U.S., makes for a quintessential Pugliese dish when brought together in the pot.

He explains that the flesh nature of man is a magnet for the demonic realm, and when they conspire together, strongholds are formed. He emphasizes the importance of understanding the root issues in people's lives and the need for deliverance. He also discusses the authority that believers have in Christ to cast out demons and bring freedom to those who are bound. Understanding the root issues in people's lives is crucial for deliverance. Believers have the authority in Christ to cast out demons and bring freedom to those who are bound. Prayer for deliverance is a powerful tool in setting people free from demonic influence. Sound Bites "The lust of the flesh left unchecked is a breeding ground for demonic workers." "The greater opportunity for deliverance will be to those who are demonized or oppressed." "Getting to the root issue of people's lives is very important in seeing deliverance." She now combines that passion with her love of tennis as the founder of Love Serving Autism, a non-profit organization dedicated to offering racquet sports to all children and adults regardless of their learning style. In 2023, the CDC reported that approximately 1 in 36 children in the U.S. is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), according to 2018 data with a 4 to 1 higher prevalence in boys. This means the likelihood of a neurotypical junior facing a neurodivergent junior in a tennis learning and/or tournament environment is pretty high. With that in mind, the two Lisas discuss best practices for coaching and playing with junior players who may have some type of learning challenge, including being on the autism spectrum, ADHD, or ADD. Love Serving Autism also works with junior tennis coaches to help them develop tools to better work with neurodivergent athletes. “Customer obsession” is an overused phrase. But for Frette, it just might be true. Phillip and Brian sit down with Paola Pugliese of Frette to discuss heritage luxury, DTC-specific category extensions, and the future of brand activations at cultural events. Recorded live at eTail West.“Quiet Luxury is Not a Trend”Key takeaways:- The power of consumer demand has grown, with brands needing to be true to their values and work closely with customers for relevance and delight.- Frette focuses on partnerships with select partners, such as hospitality properties and designers, to ensure their products land in the right environments.- Quiet luxury is inherent to Frette's DNA, focusing on quality, heritage, and timeless design rather than logo branding.- Brand partnerships expand brand reach and offer opportunities for exclusive experiences and collaborations that go beyond just selling products.{00:08:12} - “You have to be true to your value and really work with your customers firsthand and understand what is the best way, as I said, to serve them, to also delight them, surprise them, and keep being, in a way, present in their daily lives.” - Paola{00:11:23} - “For a luxury brand, especially, services are fundamental. And there's no better way to design your next relevant service or product than actually asking the people that are going to use it.” - Paola{00:14:56} - “When you really have the same vision about the importance of the experience of the customers and the way you want them to enjoy the product, then you can also create interesting partnerships that go beyond just selling the product.” - Paola{00:25:38} - “Quiet luxury in itself is not a trend, buzzword. We were there before. We are gonna be there after. What is gonna speak for us is forever the quality, the heritage, what we stand for. And that is always going to be the best value for us.” - Paola{00:29:19} - “I love what you're saying about brands being the new muses, which is also building on the fact that brands need to have an opinion and share the values, and executives need to put their face after what the brand stand for. So we start with what might be interesting and relevant for the customers.” - PaolaAssociated Links:Learn more about Frette and Paola PuglieseCheck out Future Commerce+ for exclusive content and save on merch and printThe MUSES Journal is here! Bill Eigel.“I would have to have 23 votes and get 23 votes, I'll have to get some Democrats to vote for it and then I'll have to give up something big,” O'Laughlin said. “So….everything here is a trade off you know.”Soon after the remarks were reported on social media by The Independent, the door to the Senate Lounge, where O'Laughlin was speaking, opened and a Senate doorman said Eigel wanted to talk to her on the floor. Must be something in the water… sadly, in Iowa it might be poophttps://iowacapitaldispatch.com/2024/01/25/state-issues-several-fines-for-manure-violations/From article: The Iowa Department of Natural Resources recently fined several livestock operations and a manure hauler for infractions that ranged from failing to submit animal waste management plans to a manure spill that resulted from a train collision. The crash happened in June 2023, when an employee of Magnum Custom Hauling, of South English, was transporting up to 6,000 gallons of manure in Marion County.Employee Deal Keasling was operating a tractor that pulled a manure spreader on a gravel road south of Pleasantville when he approached a railway and noticed a train, according to a DNR order.“When he saw the train, he realized he wasn't going to be able to stop, so he basically floored it,” said Janet Gastineau, a senior environmental specialist for the DNR.There is a bend in the road at the railway intersection and wooded areas nearby that might have obscured Keasling's view of the train, which struck the manure spreader. Keasling's certification to handle the manure had expired, the order said.No one was injured, Gastineau said, but an unspecified amount of manure went into nearby Coon Creek. Magnum and Keasling were ordered to pay a $4,975 fine. The DNR also recently fined five livestock operations for failing to submit required plans to manage their manure, which helps ensure the manure is not excessively applied to fields: Missouri medicaid system seems to have been broken from the insidehttps://missouriindependent.com/2024/01/23/perfect-storm-missouri-advocates-decry-medicaid-application-delays-coverage-losses/Hannah Kaplanis applied to Missouri's Medicaid program nearly two months ago, but hasn't received any response from the state.Just shy of 18 weeks pregnant, she's in need of prenatal care and growing increasingly hopeless. Aside from a free ultrasound in November, she hasn't been able to access any care. She called Missouri's Medicaid helpline earlier this month but had to hang up after waiting on hold for 45 minutes, and she is unable to apply for other insurance until she is out of Medicaid limbo. “It feels like I'm doing motherhood wrong already, but it's out of my hands,” she said. “I'm at a loss. It's just a waiting game and that gives me anxiety.”Jim Torres, program manager for health insurance services at Samuel Rodgers Health Center in Kansas City, helped Kaplanis submit her application and has been checking its status. He said that he hasn't seen “any movement on her most recent application that was submitted on Dec. 4.” Kaplanis' struggles are not isolated. Missourians trying to enroll in or retain Medicaid — the government-run health insurance program for low-income Americans — report running headlong into the state's increasingly-strained system. Interviews with advocates, applicants, participants and experts reveal increased pressure on the state's capacity has intensified bureaucratic hurdles to accessing Medicaid, which include lost and missing paperwork, indecipherable state notices and marathon call center wait times.“I've been doing this with my organization for 10 years now,” said Saralyn Erwin, a marketplace and Medicaid coordinator at Northeast Missouri Health Council who assists with applications and renewals, “and this is the worst that I have seen it.” GOP Chair in Arizona Resigns After Evidence of bribe to Kari Lakehttps://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/24/us/politics/kari-lake-arizona-gop.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShareThe chairman of Arizona's Republican Party resigned abruptly on Wednesday, a day after the publication of a 10-minute recording of a conversation between himself and Kari Lake, a former nominee for governor, in which he appeared to offer a bribe to persuade Ms. Lake to drop her 2024 Senate campaign. In the recording, which was published by The Daily Mail, Jeff DeWit, the chairman, tells Ms. Lake that there are “very powerful people that want to keep you out” of the race, and suggests he is passing on a message from them. He says he had been told to ask her: “Is there any companies out there or something that could just put her on the payroll and give her — to keep her out?”Later in the conversation, which Mr. DeWit repeatedly urges Ms. Lake not to repeat to anyone, he starts to ask, “Is there a number at which — ” before Ms. Lake interrupts, saying “I can be bought?” He replies, “Not be bought,” but instead wait a few years before running.Ms. Lake brushed off the attempts, repeatedly telling Mr. DeWit that she was offended by the approach. “That's immoral — I couldn't look at myself in the mirror,” she says, according to the recording. The Colorado House GOP has a new leader… wonder why?https://coloradonewsline.com/briefs/house-republicans-rose-pugliese-minority-leader/Colorado House Republicans chose state Rep. Sue Cahill, D-Marshalltown, stood and led the room in singing the “The Star-Spangled Banner” during her closing comments.Cahill said she sang because “our Capitol is the perfect place to show patriotism,” but requiring the singing of the national anthem in school classrooms each day is not the best path forward as it would be “mandating patriotism for students.”“I think that's something students choose and it's something that they learn and they'll learn it in other ways,” Cahill said.House Study Bill 587 would require students and teachers at Iowa public schools to sing at least one verse of the national anthem every day, in addition to singing all four verses of the song on “patriotic occasions” as well as at school functions or school-sponsored activities as determined by the district. Students and teachers would not be required to sing along, but would be required to stand at attention, remain silent and remove non-religious head coverings as the anthem is being sung.Private schools would be exempt from this requirement.Allred Alright For Texas? https://theheartlandcollective.com/2024/01/24/analysis-colin-allreds-chances-of-unseating-ted-cruz/Can Allred win? Missouri Dueling Club Opening Soon In Capitol Building Near Youhttps://www.newsweek.com/missouri-republican-senators-duel-nick-schroer-1863838A ridiculous human being and MAGA stooge of a state senator in Missouri, who's name is not important, offered a proposed new rule to allow for DUELING when the right wing snow flakes are insulted and get triggeredHis proposed amendment was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by Missouri Senate Democrats. Rose Pugliese, a freshman lawmaker from Colorado Springs, as their new minority leader Thursday, a day after Rep.
