When you search for anything dog training related on YouTube, chances are Upstate Canine Academy pops up. ... no simple feat. Tom Davis has poured his heart and soul into building Upstate Canine and a digital empire for dog lovers and training. Tom's podcast “No Bad Dogs” began with recording real life audio sessions with clients he's helped and it's taken off from there. He also has a business & personal staff, sponsorships, merchandise, and makes time to engage with his audience. This success did not happen *by chance*. It takes loads of work to sustain 10 years of creating content, growing a business, and a developing a circle of trust that share his mission. It started back in 2009 when Tom lost his beloved St. Bernard puppy. After some trials and tribulations, Tom started a dog walking company that skyrocketed into so much more. In this live we cover: - Tom's personal journey - Dealing with Online Hate - Staying Grounded - E-Collars - Balanced vs Positive Only training - Dog Fights - Neutrality & Socialization - “Must Train” behaviors - Dog Training Culture and importance of community A pleasure chatting with Tom and thank you for the positive encouragement to start this podcast
It's important to recognize that the dying process in dogs (much like that in humans) takes place months, weeks, and days prior to actual death. For Digital Dogs, the process is very different as it can happen almost immediately, and it could be your fault entirely. In Episode 61 of Gaming Cult Podcast, the crew discuss himbos of the superhero variety, the concept of heaven and hell in the Baby World of Sonic Adventure 2, docking, KNULLing, and just a little bit of video games for good measure. You love it.Featuring special guests Crystal 'Corystalia' Calibur and Emily Glass, who is also our featured music artist!Episode 61 - Digital Dog Death

After a 14-year journey with Rick, we've decided to part ways. It's a challenging moment, yes, but it's led to something emotionally raw yet cathartic: a compilation of early break-up dance classics. Party Favorz offers this unique set to accompany the myriad feelings a break-up evokes—be it sadness, anger, regret, or even empowerment. Given the life transitions, including a move away from Atlanta, pardon the somewhat less polished mix set this time around. Despite this, I'm convinced that the collection will resonate with many of you, perhaps even offering a semblance of solace. This one's filed under our beloved Backspin category. Now, let's delve into this stirring collection of songs that capture the complexities of ending a relationship. The Groovefunkel New Disco remix of Gloria Gaynor's seminal "I Will Survive" transforms this gay anthem of empowerment into a dance-floor-ready battle cry. Another standout is Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together," presented here in the Atlantic Soul Vocal Remix. This version adds a danceable twist to Mariah's poignant lyrics about love and loss. Toni Braxton's soul-wrenching "Un-Break My Heart" finds a new context in the Franktidrama Mix, while Amy Winehouse's "Tears Dry On Their Own" offers a fresh perspective via the Alix Alvarez Sole Channel Mix. Celine Dion's "All By Myself," remixed by Tracy Young, and Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" in the Hex Hector remix, add layers of emotional depth to these early break-up dance classics. For a modern touch, Beyonce's "Irreplaceable" receives the Ralphi & Craig remix, weaving a tale of assertiveness amidst sorrow. Further, Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" is transformed into a house epic by the Downtown London remix, adding sonic dimensions to the grief and anger the original so perfectly encapsulates. Alice Deejay's “Better Off Alone,” Rihanna's “Love The Way You Lie” remixed by the Italian Dandies, and Pink's “Please Don't Leave Me” in the Digital Dog remix also find their way into this cathartic dance set. Each track serves as a pillar of solace, standing strong amidst the chaos of human emotions. As I embark on a new chapter in my life, it's uncertain how soon Party Favorz will be back in full swing. However, rest assured that our mission to bring rhythm and beats to life's ups and downs remains steadfast. Until the next time...ENJOY! Rick and I moved back in together at the beginning of 2016 starting a new chapters in our lives. It's now 2023 and we're still together and plan on marrying soon. Thanks to all the Party Favorz followers for your well-wishes.

The sixth in my series of tribute "God" mixes. It was inevitable that Tiesto made God status. Wasn't he always? Tiesto first found #1 DJ status in the world of trance. He has since moved on to electro and other forms, to the detest of trance purists, but I'm still with him. He's now filling stadiums on tour and seems to have a household name akin to Madonna and others. Much respect. These are fourteen of some of my fave tracks of his with a mix of recent and classic tunes. How the hell did I keep this to only 67 minutes? I am seriously considering a part two. Enjoy! Just genuflect and bow down to the greatness that is FREEMASONS! What? You don't know the eleventh commandment? So good that Eve commanded me to birth twins. It was an instant sensation. I secretly think the Freemasons were thrilled. However, there was never an agreement with Alanis. Too bad for her. They eventually recorded a vocal with Bailey Tzuke some time late. It was good but inferior to the bootleg. LOVE! Wonderful Life (Freemasons Club Mix) - Hurts: This cuteness and fantastic musicality of the guys in Hurts is only surpassed by this amazing remix. A fave of 2010. Ring The Alarm (Freemasons Club Mix) - Beyonce: I rarely put a well known over the top vocal "diva" on my DJ mixes. Here is one of those rare remixes that excels beyond the persona of the artist. Classic. Disco Lies (Freemasons Club Mix) - Moby: Almost nothing like the original. I love Moby but this remix is a clear indication of what the Freemasons can do to a song. A fitting closing to part one.

The last few episodes have been tending towards the mainstream/poppy side, so I've decided to steer this one more towards funky house. This one opens with The Full Time Superstars feat Erire, then things turn up a notch with a couple of mixes courtesy of eSquire who I just can't get enough of lately! After a banging mix from the Bassmonkeys, things calm down a touch with the Bimbo Jones Club Mix of Kelis' Acapella, but then harden up with a Digital Dog mix of the new Scissor sisters tune, a wee bit of Davide Loi feat. Mia J, then things finish up with Beverley Knight and the latest Kylie, with a euphoric end that you just have to turn up loud! 1 - The Full Time Superstars feat. Erire - Waiting For The Night (Original Funky House Mix) 2 - eSquire feat. Ruth Cullen - Has To Be Love (eSquire Remix) 3 - Jaheim - Ain't Leavin Without You (eSquire Club Mix) 4 - Steve More feat. The second in what is to be a tribute series of "God" mixes. "Morgan Page is God" turned out to be a critical success and a fan favorite! Each "God" tribute mix will be dedicated to one of my fave DJ/producers featuring tracks they have remixed or produced. Digital Dog produces an electro house sound that easily layers into some great vocal pop melodies. They are a duo, consisting of Steve Cornish and Nick Mace from the U.K., that also record under the name Jack Rokka. Here are fourteen of my favorites seamlessly mixed together. Look out for a Freemason's "God" mix later this summer. Enjoy! Track List (56:04): Fire With Fire (Digital Dog Club Mix) - Scissor Sisters: (My fave tune on this set!) CLUB KERRY NYC: Vocal Dance & Electronic - DJ Kerry John Poynter
Track List (57:51) Hiding All The Stars (Original Mix) - Chicane: With a sample of Gary Numan's 1980's hit Cars and a driving beat we are once again reminded of the greatness that is Chicane. This is not quite the trance sound that they are known for but the electro groove is fun. Lyrics: "You can say what you want, Find the path that you lost somewhere, Be a fly on the wall, Take a dive off a fall in prayer, Everyday there’s a choice, nothing gained from the path we know, There the ones to be wrong, Hiding all of the stars out there" Fountains of Youth (Timothy Allen Remix) - Loverush UK feat. Molly Bancroft: I found myself enjoying a number of recent Loverush UK remixes. This is the first of three on this set. Originally a big club hit in the U.K., it is now being marketed in the States. Deserves more attention! Hang On (Digital Dog Remix) - Plumb: Oh how I have loved some Plumb tunes in the past such as Cut, Damaged, and In My Arms. Did you know she's a Christian artist? She has a greatest hits CD of sorts out now. Digital Dog, as always, puts out a magnificent remix. It's Alright (Loverush UK Remix) - Aviv Geffen: The second Loverush tune makeing an okay Aviv Geffen tune into something great. Aviv is an Israeli artist and this tune is from his first English language album currently being marketed in Europe. Alright (Domain Pettigrew Remix) - Red Carpet: The original of this tune ruled my original my (gasp) cd walkman back in 2001. I thought it was time to dust off this 2007 mix because of the uplifting good feeling it always seems to give me. Lyrics: "The sun is gonna keep on shining, Bright days on a new horizon, My love for you will keep on risin', Everything is gonna be alright" Here Comes The Rain Again (Freemason's 2009 Remix) - Eurythmics: One of my top ten favorite songs of all time. How perfect that my favorite DJ/producers put in an awesome production. Welcome back Annie! Make This Your Day (Gareth Emory Remix) - Fabio XB feat. Micky Vi: If your a Club Kerry NYC fan then you know I'm a Gareth Emory fan and a lover of good vocal trance with an uplifting lyric. Perfect! Lyrics: "Make your cut above the rest, Don’t waste time and don’t look back, ...Set the fire in your soul, Push the button now, Make this your day" Here on Earth - Tiesto feat. Cary Brothers: Tiesto turns out a nice vocal trance tune from his new album. Almost pop Tiesto! Lyrics: "And you take your time, because we've got all night Saturday or nothing, we can do what we want, I'm a sucker for your game, it's the way you tease, And it's so unreal, when we touch the ceiling" Stars Collide (Loverush UK Remix) - Damien S. feat. Femke: The final Loverush with a killer chorus. Check out their site at http://www.loverushdigital.com. Wicked Game (The Letting Go Mix) - Hott 22: No one can do better than the original Chris Isaak tune but this is total fun. Reminds me a bit of recent work by David Guetta. Million Dollar Bill (The Freemasons Club Mix) - Whitney Houston: Why am I listening to Whitney? Oh yeah, it's the Freemasons! This should have been the mix to kick off her new album.
Well, I finally got my groove back and I have to say "it feels freaking fantabulous!" While there are still issues with iTunes (which I just received another email from them to let me know they haven't forgotten about me)and now my Facebook Fan Page, which I've decided to leave well enough alone, things are going relatively well with me in general. I'm still peddling away on the 'under the hood' issues for the sight, so I figure everything will hopefully fall into place in due time. I'm actually getting better at this patience thing, just take a deep breath and walk away. Come back in an hour or so and try again. Works pretty well. Normally, I like to mix up the different styles and genres within my BPM mixes, but this time I decided to separate them out. This first set is for all the mainstream electro-pop folks who like their radio favorites mixed for the dancefloor. Nothing wrong with that at all. As you skim down the track list, you may notice a couple of things. First, Mariah Carey; yes I was critical of her remake of the Foreigner classic "I Want to Know What Love Is", but I have to admit her vocals are spot on and she hasn't sounded this good in a long time. Sadly, Moto Blanco (who I would have tapped for the remix) sped the vocals up losing the actual flavor of the song. This is a big ballad with some serious undertones that deserve better than the Mickey Mouse rendition they delivered. That's not to say most of you won't like it, I just think something more dramatic is in order; maybe Tony Moran, Chris Cox; I'm just saying. The next thing you'll notice is my inclusion of Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A." I haven't been particularly nice to Miley on this site, only because I guess I'm way over the whole bubblegum scene. History has always manufactured huge stars targeting the Teen Beat crowd, so Miley's success comes as no surprise. Certainly, I've had my fair share of favorites over the years (Debbie Gibson comes to mind), so it wouldn't be fair of me to deny anyone else their right to enjoy it now. While I'm not ready to join Miley's fan club, I will admit that this song is sinfully delicious! While I generally enjoy all the songs in my mixes for one reason or another, as usual, there are a few diamonds that stand out and stick in my head like gum to the bottom of your shoe. Cindy Gomez' "Again and Again" is pure pop bliss, while Priscilla Renea's "Dollhouse" takes on a familiar theme while making it all her own. One of the biggest artists of the year, Agnes follows up "Release Me" with "I Need You" which is just as ear-pleasingly catchy. I'm not sure what the huge appeal to Agnes' kind of meat and potatoes pop is, but she sure has one hell of a writing team, if she isn't writing these songs herself. Taking the familiar piano riff used in "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland (another HUGE track from earlier this year) this is bound to be BIG. After the massive worldwide success of "In My Arms" from 2007, Plumb returns with a new album and single "Hang On" already destined for dancefloor glory. Packed with fantastic mixes by Dave Aude and Digital Dog, it's the Pete Hammond mix that blows my socks off. If you weren't fortunate enough to have lived through the second half of the 80s, Pete Hammond (who's been making the rounds on the circuit lately) was part of Stock, Aitken, and Waterman or better known as SAW. They churned out dozens of hits for Bananarama, Dead or Alive, Rick Astley and even Donna Summer amongst many others. Their signature sound could be heard not just on dancefloors but at Top 40 radio throughout the world. I'm happy to say that Pete, who has already been featured in previous BPM Editions, is back and quite possibly even better than before. He's taken the classic SAW sound and updated it for the today's dancefloors'. Despite my obvious bias, it's refreshing to hear something dropped in between the usual Bimbo Jones,

CLUB KERRY NYC: Vocal Dance & Electronic - DJ Kerry John Poynter
Four weeks every Friday in August with the freshest and hottest vocal grooves to sizzle your senses. Make sure to place 1-4 in order for a two hour mix set. Part 1: Uplifting House, Electro, and Trance Part 2: Electro & Trance Part 3: Trance Part 4: Uplifting House Track List Part 4 (32:02) 1. Piano in the Dark (7th Heaven Club Mix) – Shanie: The former U.S. top ten hit by Brenda Russell is remade by Shanie with a fun house mix by 80’s group turned remixers 7th Heaven. “He holds me close like a thief of the heart, He plays a melody, Born to tear me all apart.” 2. Paranoid (Dave Aude Club Mix) – Jonas Brothers: Oh my, so I never thought I would own or like a Jonas Bros. tune. It’s all about the Dave Aude remix. It’s fun. It’s the tune I hate to love. Just give into it. 3. Smash Into You (Flash Brothers Remix) – Beyonce: Everyone was into the Halo remixes. But I rather enjoyed what the Flash Brothers did to what was a mediocre Beyonce song (IMHO). I’m willing to run too, Beyonce, while I listen to this tune! 4. Forgiveness (Digital Dog Remix) - Wamdue Project featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn: I love dj/producer duo Digital Dog! I also love their new mix of my recent fave tune by Wamdue Project (See my previous set called Forgiveness). Put the two together and it's a match made in heaven. THANK YOU! 5 Love Comes (Riff & Rays Club Mix) – Bananarama: Another 80’s connection. Riff & Rays creates a piano house stomper while Bananarama tries to relive it’s former glory. They may not succeed but this remix is fun. 6. Confusion Girl (Riff & Rays Club Mix) – Frankmusic: Brit producer/vocalist Vincent Frank has a new album. Riff & Rays once again turn up the beat to fun. “Confusion girl never gives or takes, Tries to cover up all of her mistakes, Wanting to be someone else, Anything but herself, …It’s such a shame.” 7. Gone (Extended Mix) – Lasgo: Gone are the days of the great Lasgo tunes. But ‘Gone’ may herald a return as this electro house beat portends. “Oops, you're gone. Just play your games with someone else.” Place parts 1 – 4 in order in your iTunes for a continuous two hour mixed set. Look for an outstanding new one hour mix set, Electronic Love, next week.
01 Calvin Harris - Ready for the weekend (Spoon broken remix) 02 The Ian Carey Project - Get Shaky (Vandalism mix) 03 Soul Avengerz ft Max C - If you want my love (Electrik disko mix) 04 K Klass & Herd ft Abigail Bailey - Come around (Original vocal mix) 05 Pixie Lott - Mama do (Bimbo Jones vocal) 06 JLS - Beat again (Digital Dog club mix) 07 Lady Gaga - Lovegame (Chew fu ghettohouse fix) 08 Livvi Franc - Now im that bitch (Jason Nevins club) 09 Solange - Dont go (Extended mix) 10 Britney Spears - Unusual you (Angels rise above remix)

Coincidentally my birthday and the six month anniversary of my little DJ podcast, Club Kerry NYC, occurs on June 16. So on this occasion I have taken the best of two mixes that were in production and combined them into this body rockin' birthday mix. If you have never downloaded one of my sets then this is the one you want to start with. All of these tunes are favorites right now and I simply do not know which is my fave. It has a number of the components I enjoy such as The Freemason's, Digital Dog, a good remake in Straight Up, Ladyhawke, Lifelike, male and female vocals, uplifting beats, good melodies, and of course some great mixing. Look for a best of mix in a few weeks. Have a tune from the last few months to suggest for the upcoming best of mix? Then email me at clubkerry@gmail.com. Enjoy! Choice Lyric from track #6, Change Your Mind by Sunlounger: when you kiss me, it feels so real then the daylight comes, off you run, and i don’t know how to feel there’s a fire underneath your skin but it’s getting old, out here in the cold, ’cause you won’t let me in when you hold me, i can hear your heart beating loud and clear, without fear, but you chose a moment that we part you and i could fly, baby we could be so high if you just let go but you’re too busy keeping two feet on the ground and keeping one hand on the door when you change your mind you know where to find me The set list (63:45): Body Rock (Twisted Dee Remix) - Oceana Straight Up (Kinky Roland Replicant Club) - Charlie Ward Heartbreak (Make Me A Dancer) (Full Length Club Mix) - Freemason's Featuring Sophie Ellis Bextor In The Heat Of The Night (Digital Dog Remix) - Star Pilots Back of the Van (Wawa Remix) - Ladyhawke Change Your Mind (Dance Version) - Sunlounger featuring Kyler England Kelly (Lifelike Remix) - Van She Looking Back (Harris Briggs Michael Badal Remix) - Joni and Sinfour Asteroidz (Sultan & Ned Shepard Remix) - DBN featuring Madita Radio Station (Charly Fath Remix) - The Touch Sunset (featuring Yota) (Original Mix) - Lifelike
Here at Party Favorz, I don't take a break.okay, once in a while, but when it comes to serving up some of the freshest beats on the circuit, there's no time for disco naps, nor egg hunting. This is the final edition of spring and boy oh boy is it a scorcher! Starting off with Yinon's take on Deborah Cox's "Beautiful U R" which is an amazing prog mix that has a beautiful drop about 2/3 of the way in. Deep, dark and haunting, this is truly an amazing song that is supposed to have a second set of mixes coming out soon. In the meantime, Deborah also collaborated with Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Laidback Luke for the star-studded "Leave the World Behind" which will be featured in my upcoming System Edition; so be on the watch for that. You may be scratching your head and wondering what the hell Acorn, I mean Akon is doing on this mix; especially since he's not a particular favorite of mine. Because Tracy Young worked this song every which way but loose! If you can get past the vocals, Tracy's "Monster Mix" is worth the price of admission. I already mentioned Razor 'n' Guido in my last post, so just know their re-work of the classic "Drop a House" is HOT! The Chriss Ortega mix of "My Life Would Suck Without You" had already appeared on my last BPM Edition, but is the only entry for this song that's worth the play. I really expected more from Tommy Sunshine and Friscia and Lamboy, but they basically turned in a mix that Jason Nevins could have worked out had he been asked to mix the song.eh! Then we've got the return of Depeche Mode and the elusive Peter Rauhofer mix currently only available as a promo. Why they left it off the commercial release is beyond me, because Peter's mix is not only the best but smoldering. I am a little concerned that David's vocals are not up to par, leaving one to wonder. We finally get some new mixes for Rihanna's "Breaking Dishes" and Ralphi, true to form, did not disappoint. I liked the 'Soul Seekerz' mix well enough from the original remix album that was released in conjunction with "Good Girl Gone Bad", but this version brings it to life. I just hope those are Chris' dishes she's breaking; in fact go ahead and bust his balls while you're at it. Probably my biggest disappointment here is the Junior Vasquez take on "Please Don't Leave". An absolutely beautiful song in its own right, I do believe he could have done better. This mix isn't bad but would have been better served with the full vocals. Sadly, P!nk's label didn't commission many mixes for this, though the Digital Dog mix (which appeared on my last BPM Edition) is still the best version and retains all the elements that make this song so moving. One of the weirdest treats in this mix comes from Jipsta's "I Want Your Sex". If you were thinking 'George Michael"', you thought right. I always thought this song was ripe for a remake, but never in a million years did I think a hip-hop/rapper would re-do it. All I can say is HELL YEAH! This song rocks and is accompanied by a ton of excellent mixes. I don't usually use Mike Rizzo except in the BPM mixes, but his slamming take warranted inclusion. The Perry Twins in collaboration with Niki Haris turn in a really fun song and is considerably beefed-up mix by the Escape & Capello team, who are currently riding high with one club hit after another. Another welcome surprise comes from Cevin Fisher. After last year's remake of his classic "You Got Me (Burnin' Up)", Cevin dove right back in his bag of goodies and brought out another classic "The Freaks Come Out". As with the last release, the mixes for this song are all stellar. I went with the Prok & Fitch remix because they are one of the underground darlings in the house scene at the moment and deliver a very memorable grind for this song. This is going to be HUGE! Capping off the mix, Nick Harvey delivers a tribal lover's dream with "Beat on the Drum" and the amazing Allan Natal take on Luis Erre's "...
