In this FUSE weekend sermon, we explore the lie 'I'm better off alone' and confront it with the truth that friends are truly invaluable. Drawing from Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, we learn that two are indeed better than one. The scripture illustrates three key aspects of friendship: propping up when falling, pressing in when cold, and pushing back when attacked. These principles remind us of the importance of both offering and receiving support in our relationships. The message challenges us to be the kind of friends who actively engage in these practices, fostering deeper connections and spiritual growth within our community.0:00 - Introduction: Fuse Sunday and Welcome1:20 - Fuse and the Series on Relationships: Lies About Love3:20 - The Lie: "I'm Better Off Alone"3:40 - Reasons We Tell Ourselves We're Better Off Alone7:30 - The Truth: "Friends Are Really Good" (Ecclesiastes 4:9)8:07 - Caitlin's Spanish Project: The Importance of Personal Relationships15:10 - How to Be a Good Friend15:46 - Friends Who Prop Up When They're Falling21:05 - Friends Who Press In When They're Cold22:34 - Friends Who Push Back When They're Attacked28:02 - The Example of Jesus: The Ultimate Friend29:55 - Conclusion and Prayer**HOW TO FIND US*** SUBSCRIBE TO OUR YouTube CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/@IronwoodChurchAZFACEBOOK https://www.facebook.com/ironwoodchurchaz/ INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/ironwood.church/WEBSITE https://www.ironwoodchurch.org/

Get ready to "Break the Floor" with the latest Peak Hour set, a banging collection of some of the summer's hottest Tech House and Techno songs. Oh, and it's not just your ordinary set. Let me break it down for you: If you're craving that late-night vibe with a mix of Breaks, Bass House, and Big Room, this is the set for you. I'm talking tunes that'll practically blow a hole through your speakers! The energy in this Peak Hour compilation is through the roof, mixing fresh Tech House and Techno beats. CASSIMM's "In My Mind" is a standout, showing the artist's versatility, crossing over into House, Funky House, Tech House, and beyond. This is a Party Favorz favorite for sure. Then, there's the competition between Skrillex x Boys Noize "Fine Day Anthem" spinning the classic "It's a Fine Day" by Miss Jane into an unforgettable dancefloor gem. Ever thought about how classics like "Born Slippy" by Underworld could get a new twist? Meduza does just that, bringing their signature style with "Friends", and others like Sam Supplier & Marlon Sadler turn the Alice Deejay classic "Better Off Alone" into a Peak Hour Tech House sensation. Techno lovers, don't worry, Eli Brown's got you covered with "Love Is Free." It was only a matter of time before Los Del Rio's 90s classic "Macarena" got sampled and Dave Winnel's "Alegria" gives it a Tech House facelift that's pure fire! And don't get me started on "Eat Your Man" by Dom Dolla & Nelly Furtado – that's getting play EVERYWHERE. "Break the Floor" almost didn't see the light of day, but trust me, the final version's worth the wait. It's a testament to Party Favorz's commitment to only bringing the freshest tunes to the table. Whether you're a Tech House enthusiast, a Techno addict, or just someone looking to spice up your Peak Hour dance sessions, "Break the Floor" has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this one. As we gear up for the summer season, 'Here We Go Again' is packed with the biggest dance hits that are sure to keep you grooving on the dancefloor. Kicking off the set is "On & On" by Armin van Buuren & Punctual featuring Alika, a catchy track with infectious beats and smooth vocals that will get you moving from the first beat. Next up is "Crying On the Dancefloor" by Endless Summer, Sam Feldt & Jonas Blue with Violet Days, which samples the iconic 1999 classic "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay, giving it a fresh and modern twist that will make you want to dance all night long. "Finally" by Jonas Blue & Rani is another standout track in this mix, featuring a sample from the Freemason's "Disco's Revenge" by Gusto, which itself was based on an obscure 80s dance track. This fusion of old and new creates a nostalgic yet current vibe that is sure to get the party going. "Baby Don't Hurt Me" by David Guetta, Anne-Marie & Coi Leray is another highlight, sampling the 90s Eurodance classic "What Is Love" by Haddaway, bringing back memories of the golden era of dance music. The set also includes the remake of the 2001 Khia Hip-Hop classic "My Neck, My Back" by KVSH & Reezer, which adds a fresh and modern twist to the original, as well as the high-energy "Miracle" by Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding, a pulsating track that will get your heart racing on the dancefloor. And let's not forget "Player" by Cori Leray, which samples the early 80s Rap classic "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, adding a touch of nostalgia to the mix. Two tracks that cannot be ignored in this set are "Where You Are" by John Summit & Hayla and Pink's remake of the Prince-penned Sinead O'Connor classic "Nothing Compares To You". The Sintra remix of "Where You Are" provides a smooth and seamless flow in the mix, but the Sak Noel and Olive Oil remixes are also worth checking out for a more energetic vibe. As for Pink's cover of "Nothing Compares To You," she delivers a powerful rendition with her signature vocals, and Dirty Disco's remix adds a club-ready twist that takes the song to new heights. So put on your dancing shoes and get ready to groove to the hottest club dance hits of April with Party Favorz! Don't miss out on the latest beats that blend the past with the present, creating a musical experience that is both nostalgic and fresh. Happy Saturday! Party Favorz is delivering volume 2 of the Millennial Dance Classics series containing many of the biggest dance songs from 1999 - 2002. As discussed in our first post for volume 1 — There are many familiar songs for those vested in today's club scene. "9PM (Til I Come)" by ATB, "Better Off Alone" by Alice Deejay, and "Around the World (La La La La La" by ATC have been the basis for several monster hits in the past couple of years. The massive "Blue (I'm Good)" by David Guetta & Bebe Rexha lifts directly from "Blue (Da Be Dee)" by Eiffel 65 or as we used to call it "Blue (I'm in Need of a Guy)" is also featured in this set. "Pasilda" by Afro Medusa has been reworked a million times since its release as has "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire. Of course, the Phats & Small 1999 remix kicked it all off and is also included. Some of my all-time favorite songs are also included like "Touch Me" by Rui Da Silva (which was just recently reworked), "Addicted To Bass" by Puretone, and "Big Love" by Pete Heller. Truth be told, I love everything in this set. Even the quirky "Love Story" by Layo & Bushwacka! featuring a vocal sample by the great Nina Simone is a massive winner. There's a lot of diversity including House, Trance, and Progressive House to keep things interesting. There were many DJ names you will see throughout these two series. Other than the big room names I dropped last month, Knee Deep, Robbie Rivera, Roger Sanchez, and Illicit (to name a few) were all in high demand during this period. Robbie is still cranking out massive tracks to this day and all were masters at their craft. I hope everyone's enjoying the cooler days after the excessive heat we endured the last several months. Even so, things will be heating up again with the release of our annual HW series next week, which I've already begun work on. Until then...ENJOY! Sasa - Better Off Alone (Extended Mix) by Lauterhaus
Party Favorz is back and swinging for the fences as we get back to our normal programming schedule the Back 2 School Edition featuring fall's biggest dance club songs. There's a lot to unpack here so let's get started. We kicked off the set with Beyonce's Break My Soul, which was a little slow out of the gate before people started getting on board. The songwriting credits included the writers for the 90s Robin S classic Show Me Love but to me – there were zero similarities to either song. Both use the standard House music loop featured in most songs back in the day but with little resemblance to that earworm hook courtesy of the StoneBridge remix, which is what made the original a massive hit. Finally, DJ Mike D had the good sense to remix the song with that familiar riff and it works in spades. Still, the best remix of the track that flips and turns it into a big room crowd pleaser is from our good friends from Houston, Dirty Disco. In fact, Dirty Disco appears to be the go-to for remixing the biggest songs hitting the charts these days, and for good reason. While they don't have a specific signature (which is one of their finest qualities) — they seem to approach each remix with a different mindset and give it what it needs to turn it into a massive dance floor scorcher. You will hear plenty of examples in this set but the one that really takes the prize is their remix of Calvin Harris' Stay With Me featuring Justin Timberlake, Halsey, and Timberlake. We all know superstar DJ/producer Calvin Harris has a lot of friends in high places but even they couldn't save this song. Enter Dirty Disco from stage left. They massively restructured the original and turned it on its head, which further showcased what the song could be. The remix is so massive and catchy that it got a feature spot in this set when it otherwise wouldn't have. Another DJ people and labels should be keeping an eye on is DJ Ranny. He's been around a while but has proven himself to be more than just a big-room tribal circuit DJ. His WAP remix by Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B was a masterpiece several years ago. Party Favorz is proud to include his original Rave Bunny, which samples the Alice Deejay classic Better Off Alone and delivers an all-new smoking hot Future House song that should be on every DJ's setlist and on your Spotify playlist. https://youtu.be/ok7xXlw8yQc Back 2 School has not only the latest and biggest songs of the season but several earworms of the summer that have gotten new remixes that we here at Party Favorz can't get enough of. Also, there is a multitude of throwbacks included and I'll let y'all spot them as they come up because many aren't labeled as such. One such song comes from the leftfield and was totally unexpected. One of our favorite Divas Miss Leann Rimes has dropped a cover of the Alanis Morissette classic Univited on YouTube. It's an acoustic cover with the accompaniement of piano only. Because the snobs in the music press wouldn't dare cover a country artist — even if they have had a strong presence in the club world for decades — Miss Rimes has teamed up with Dave Aude for a remix of this song, which is featured here and it's OMFG unbelievable. Anyone familiar with the original or is a fan of Alanis will get chills just listening to Leann transcend this song from one generation to the next. After all, she was just a kid when the original went to #1 on the Top 40 charts — albeit a kid wtih a blossoming country music career who was being hailed as the next Patsy Cline. Ultimately, Party Favoz has left no stone unturned and also wanted to contribute our bit of sunshine into what are very troubling times throughout the world. Thankfully, these songs aren't just throwbacks but currently riding high on dance charts meaning that people are gravitating towards messages of hope. Bob Sinclar's classic Wold Hold On resonates as much now as when it was released over a decade ago and topped worldwide charts.

When it comes to relationships, we all think we know what we want. Somebody kind, thoughtful, funny, good-looking, or (insert your adjective of choice here!). But it's rarely that simple. We spend a lot of time thinking about our ideal partner – but usually not enough time thinking about ourselves. So when I talk to women who are struggling with dating, I always start in the same place: What about YOU? What makes you feel loved? What do you want from a partner? Do you know what you need? Do you feel worthy of real, genuine love? And if you don't, how can you help yourself get there? Today's episode is all about cultivating the self-worth, self-love, and self-sufficiency we need as women to attract what we deserve – in relationships and in life. bad LSD trips is the project of Miami-based musicians and visual artists Domingo Castillo and doris dana. Earlier this year, the duo released their self-titled debut via Enmossed x Psychic Liberation. It is a must listen document that falls in the interzone between ambient, industrial, and tape music. Let them expand your mind in the second half of the broadcast. About the mix: "For this mix, we intercalated tracks that we both selected without knowing what the other person was planning to include, which is very much a reflection of the collaboration that bad LSD trips turned out to be. Many of these artists/albums became part of the psychedelic landscape we inhabited during a time when we were forced to be homebound and in some ways, they bring about our individual approach to recording and the sonic sensibilities that inform our sound. This episode features two stories about companionship gone wrong... sometimes being alone is not so bad.
On another more serious episode.. Today we ask, can a person truly be happy on their own? Next we discuss.. do cheaters ever change?
This is definitely a throw back track but definitely a banger! If you haven't heard it yet. Give it a listen, it's one that'll be stuck in your head forever.

Sometimes we feel so exhausted and tired of trying that we begin to believe that we'd be better off alone. But this is a ploy of the enemy to make us hopeless. I explore the truth that new problems are created when a couple separates. Verses Referenced in this episode: Galatians 6:9 and James 1:2-5 This is not to discount that if you are in an abusive situation, please get help. You are better off getting out of an abusive situation.
We break down one of the most influential Euro pop classics of all time from Alice Deejay that makes us ask the variable question - "Do you think you're Better Off Alone?"
